It was a fantastic experience! The work that was done was very professional and above expectations. There was a minor problem with one side of the gutters. I called and spoke with the owner and the very next day it was corrected. I have nothing but good things to say about this company!

I would highly recommend them. It was a pretty big job. They were extremely timely, extremely professional and very knowledgeable. They really know their business. The workers were polite. They are professionals. They are punctual and they have workman who show up. They are perfectionists and do a really nice job. They did everything in a timely manner and kept their promises. I would use them again in the future if need be.

Work crew was very prompt and efficient. Cleaned up every day and communicated well with me concerning the progress of the project. When there was a hang up Greg the owner stepped in an corrected the problem nicely. He was always responsive to my needs and concerns. I had over 5 estimates all from Angies List and Siding Group came through with the best price and quality workmanship. Have had many compliments on there work and have already recommended them to my neighbor.

I called three siding companies the weekend following the storm. Greg (owner of siding group) was the only one that scheduled a visit and turned up at the agreed time. Greg's approach in assessing the work was honest and upfront. Just so happens he just recently finished a major siding project on a house on the same street and looking at the quality of work there gave me confidence that his company does good work. Greg assessed the main damage and discussed the condition of the siding in general. Pointed out two other places where repairs should be done, which I would have missed without having had the careful look. A written quote was provided. Once agreed upon, Greg started the search and purchase of matching siding. The process from that point up to completion took a few weeks, but it was understandable given the need to find matching siding and given the work load after the storm. Greg himself kept me updated. The work was complete on 3/18/2011. Along the way, Greg was patient in dealing with my inquiries on progress and other questions. I'm very happy with the way Greg worked with us and will definitely use Siding Group again in future work.

This is a final followup to the contracted work w/Siding Group. Original signing was August 2009. The patience that Greg (owner) showed was great. I was honest and told him my problem (related in earlier entries) with another contractor for other work that needed to be done first. On March 03 his crew started work on the enclosed back porch. Greg also came and we reviewed the contract (see above). The first day(Wednesday), they removed and replaced the 1st floor windows. The second day on floor 2 they added an extra window space and removed/replaced the old windows as on floor 1.Both floors now had a picture window w/a single window on each side, leveling where necessary and insulating around the windows. It rained day 3 so they returned the following Monday. Next came removing the old asphalt siding. During the process they removed and replaced some bad wood w/plywood 'not' OSB board. The work continued through midday on Thursday (3-11). Greg was by either here each day or called to insure all work was being done properly. They also had to remove then replace my side wall drain. They showed me how to the new windows worked. I had 2 outlets previously installed and they cut around this and framed (aluminum) around my back door. The colors I picked out were done by them at another of their jobs. Each day they cleaned up. The old siding was piling up and on the last day a company came and removed all the old materials. Adding this to my new outdoor stairs and rolling shudders (to be installed), my rear entrance looks like a new place. I'm pleased to say that I have used Angie's List for my new white roof / tuckpointing / exposed stairs & deck / new electrical / coal bin removal and now siding.

Their Project Advisor was excellent in describing in detail the entire process. He was helpful in suggesting trim details that added to the look of the house. Siding Group was the only contractor among 5 interviewed who provided a reference list of projects they had worked on in the area. The quote was broken down very specifically so you knew what each item cost. The workmanship was very meticulous and attention was paid to making sure the James Hardie siding was installed according to the manufacturers directions and warranty. The 2 installers kept the yard very clean while working in very demanding weather conditions (Jan. 2011 ) . We are very pleased with the results. The house looks fantastic!

Everything went great. Greg Bednarski came to inspect my house daily to check if things were going right. I'm very happy with the results. It was a great experience for me. He performed his work in timely manner. I would definitely recommend Greg to anyone.

Project went beautifully. It started with company representative Bartek coming to property several times. He made a tremendous effort to understand goals of project. This was no ordinary re-siding job, but rather part of gut re-hab of a 1960s mid-century modern house that had fallen into disrepair. Siding Group has done unusual/creative work before, and completely understood the goals of this project. I spoke with a previous customer who also had an out-of-the-ordinary project in advance of proceeding with this project, and this customer, who was a very demanding architect, gave a glowing review. The Siding Group crew of two worked very diligently under sometimes very difficult conditions (low temperatures, rain, snow) and did astonishingly beautiful work. They are both master craftsmen! Corrugated metal pieces are wonderfully vertical - perfectly aligned. Perfectly spaced and aligned screws. This was difficult work and if done wrong would have looked terrible. The work was done carefully and the results are spectacular! I wanted storm doors that had an aluminum finish to suit the period of the house, but was unable to locate a manufacturer. Seems (almost) all manufacturers are doing only vinyl covered doors. Greg (owner of Siding Group) was able to tap into his vast network of suppliers and found brand new but look from the 60s storm doors that were expertly installed. Fabulous results. Some carpentry work was required to replace rotted wood around the entrance of the house. Greg brought in very talented carpenters who replaced a beam, rehung a sagging door and replaced a giant floor-to-ceiling picture window. The new window is a jewel and the front door now opens, closes and locks smoothly, and fits flush in the opening. Again, beautiful work. My advice: if you have a project that demands creativity and must be installed by expert craftsmen who appreciate and share your vision, call Siding Group!

The delay to adding fiber-cement and new windows is about to end. My porch/deck is complete. Have been in contact with Greg about this update. Hope to have done by some time in February 2011.

Let me begin by saying I am an engineer, very familiar with best practices related to home construction. When Hubert first arrived to gather information in order to create a proposal, I knew I was in good hands. I had very precise requirements and Hubert led me to understand where I making good choices and where I was needed to consider all the available options. The difference between an estimate and a proposal is the level of detail. Hubert's proposal was complete in that it covered the job and all the related details such as permits, insurance, site prep/cleanup. The execution of the work was, in a word, flawless. Everywhere there was an opportunity to take a shortcut, Siding Group made the decision that led to the best possible finish and highest degree of craftsmanship. Now I'm not saying they were the least expensive option (they were in the middle of the pack), but they delivered a superior project at a very fair price. I will continue to use Siding Group's services in every area they feel qualified to work. (yes, probably a new roof in a couple years).

It was a very pleasant experience to work with Siding Group from the beginning to the end of the project which took about 4 days. We first met Bartek B - their sales rep. My husband asked a lot of questions and he explained them all in details. We were very impressed with his knowledge in this area. The 2-men crew worked on my house did an excellent job. Their workmanship is outstanding we love the outcome. There was some minor concern about the shingles being tilted in some area, Greg - the owner made sure it's corrected. Kudo on Siding Group for a job well done!!

Siding Group did a great job. They helped me figure out what work to do and what did not need to be done, and provided an accurate, detailed quote. They completed the work in the time frame without any delays. I would definitely use them again. My calls were returned promptly.

It went well. Windows were installed on time and workers were considerate and professional. I have no hesitation about recommending them.

Siding Group came highly recommended by a friend and that is why when we took bids on this job, we went with them even though they were more expensive than the other bids. But we still really got our money's worth! Originally, the house and garage were to get new roofs and the house gutters and downspouts were also to be replaced. Imagine our surprise when we found out the fasica behind the old gutters and some parts of the soffits on the house were rotted and would also have to be repaired/replaced. When we asked Bartek and Greg what we should do, they suggested two scenarios. We could replace what wood needed to be done and later have it painted, or we could have the wood replaced and then have it wrapped in aluminum. We went with the latter since the less maintenance this house needs in the future, the better for us. We were fortunate we had hired Siding Group, because they have various teams that do different work. Otherwise, we would have had to hire other people to do the additional needed work. It surely made our lives easier. Bartek suggested we "go bold" with the gutters and thus chose a contrasting color to trim out the house. With the addition of the aluminum soffits and further trimming out, the house looks fantastic. We are so glad Bartek recommended something to us that we would not have thought of. An important note: When the roof was being removed, our neighbor's house paint got scratched and Siding Group tried to touch the areas up, but ended up power washing and painting that side of her house to make it right. That is so admirable. We are so happy we chose Siding Group for this large job. The men who worked on our house did a remarkable job cleaning up at the end of every day and we think, did their very best. I would recommend this company to anyone for any of the various services it provides.

Hubert was the sixth siding representative that I met with, but Hubert offered window trim options that no one else had mentioned. He also explained the warranty details of the siding that no one else had discussed. His knowledge and professionalism was excellent. He took the necessary time to understand what I wanted done. When I did receive his quote he also included a long list of references of previous jobs and he encouraged me to check his references. The Siding Group quote was higher than other comparable companies, but they were willing to increase the 'discount' which then brought them to the price ballpark of other companies. Although I ended up choosing another company, Hubert's professionalism and knowledge left me with a very favorable impression of his company, and I would recommend other people consider Siding Group when investigating fiber cement siding work.

If I need window or siding service in the future, I will definitely be calling Siding Group, Ltd.

Their estimate was very competitive when compare with the other quotes. The quality of the cement board siding was fantastic and they did really good job. The flooring took a little longer than it was scheduled but they did really good job quality wise. The main thing is that when I call them they have a problem with their system because it's always not working. I have a complaint with them there. They did a reasonably good job and I am assuming that they will show up with the need to work. The price was very competent because I got all my windows.

The above is one reason I am glad I am using them to update my building. The work will resume in the spring of 2010.

Overall, it went well. They provided a quick estimate that was the lowest of the three we received. Although there were a few minor issues (they started later and the job took a little longer than expected, some of the window frames were damaged during installation of the windows, they did not always clean up as much as a I may have liked), Greg worked to resolve everything to our satisfaction. The house looks great and we are happy with the windows.

As the only house with siding in a block full of brick bungalows, I worried about paying a lot for siding only to have my house still look like a big garage. I got estimates from other highly rated siding companies on Angie's List, but Siding Group was the only company that gave me confidence that they were concerned about the design elements of siding and the final appearance my house would have. Bart met with me three times, providing excellent advice about my options. I chose some more expensive options, which I don't regret in the least, but the estimate was detailed enough to give me choices for reducing my costs throughout the process. Bart explained before I signed the contract that they couldn't start immediately, but he then offered me a 10% discount on the job for waiting until their slower season. Once they started, the installers worked hard through the cold weather and as others have said, cleaned up their work area well each day. I was disappointed with only one small part of the job (2 downspouts initially descended in ways that might trip someone using the sidewalk by the house), but Greg readily agreed to change those downspouts when I asked. The final result of the siding job is better than I could have dreamed, especially since my frame house is much smaller and simpler than many of the model houses I saw of the Siding Group's prior jobs. The primary and accent colors enhance the appearance of my home so much that even months later neighbors still rave about it whenever they see me outside. Neighbors I never met before have introduced themselves just to compliment me on my house's "makeover." Best of all, I now have a house that I'll be proud to live in for years to come. I would highly recommend Siding Group to anyone who wants to make sure that their siding job is handled with attention to detail and design.

So far, everything has gone well. They clean up well, there price are reasonable.

Their representative, Hubert, who gave us the quote was very professional and thorough. He came over twice to go over everything. They started and finished the job as promised, which took about three weeks. They were very good about cleaning up each day and did an excellent job. Two small points, they put up a large sign in our front yard advertising their company without our permission and I had to call them to take it down even after they had finished and we had paid them. They came for a final inspection and wanted full payment on the spot, without any advance notice to us so we had to write them several checks to cover it.

Gary came out and gave us a fair estimate. However, we discovered that our cedar siding needs replacing and not just painting.

Siding and Windows Group met with us a couple of days after first contact and provided a very detailed quote within a week. Hubert was thorough and went over many details and pointed out specific homes that we should visit in the area (from their list of 150 references) that would give us a better idea of what our suggestions actually look like. After viewing the houses on the reference list, it was obvious this company does quality work (so much so that we could point out the house they did before confirming the address). The price quoted was fair and very detailed with multiple options. However, we had a friend's company offer us a deal to good to pass up - otherwise we'd have likely gone with S&WG. I'd recommend you call them if you have a Victorian that you're sick of painting but can't bare to side over.
