Description of Work: They did the detailing per the ad, but I paid extra for dog hair removal, small dent removal, wet sanding, touch up. It added up to quite a bit. Work done however was very fine, no complaints. Detailing was excellent.

Description of Work: I bought this AL-Big Deal to have our car interior detailed. I assumed this would include a car wash as well, but was of course simply concerned about the interior cleaning.I called in advance for an appt and to see if I could wait for my car to be done, as they are not near my home. I was told I could. The man at reception was punctual and professional, as was everyone there. I would have given this service "A"s all around, except for the fact that I was asked to wait a few minutes (why?) After a short while a young man came to accept my drop-off and took me out to the car to suggest/sell assorted exterior work-- I was offered a wash/wax for the exterior, and then, one by one, everything from pulling out and reconditioning small dents and dings to buffing out all of the tiny scratches barely visible to the human eye along the door handles. I felt like this was more of a sales pitch than I had bargained for (which was an "interior detailing"); and quite honestly, has discouraged me from buying other big deals on AL. Although I'd been told on the phone, in advance, that the detailing would take up to 2 hours (so that I could go grab lunch elsewhere down the street), I ended up waiting closer to 4 hours. All in all though, the interior detailing was thorough and I was happy with the actual detailing I had purchased.

Description of Work: They did a very good job, and my car looked almost brand new. My only complaint is that the coupon I paid for only covered part of the job - I ended up paying double for the service (with some agreed-upon add-ons). I would use QAR again, but be prepared to pay!

Description of Work: I went to have what I thought was a small chip in my windshield fixed. Setting up the appointment was easy. When I got there, though, I was told that it was a major chip and that the Angie's List deal that I had would not cover the total cost. They also said they couldn't really fix it all the way, that the chip/crack spread when they first repaired it, and that it wouldn't be a permanent fix. I have never had a chipped windshield before, so I'm not sure how much of this was completely accurate or honest, but I left feeling like I had been upsold automatically and that they hadn't done the highest quality work.

Description of Work: I got a high pressured sales pitch about other things that could be done to the car when I got there. Wasn't expecting it and felt uncomfortable during the proces. Bought extra services that I felt I didn't need when it was said and done. Won't go there again.

Description of Work: We first went to QAR with an Angie's list big deal for detailing ($95.00) but then ended up using them for Auto body work after our son was in an accident. They did a beautiful job. We found them honest and easy to work with.

Description of Work: I had two estimates for body work on my car. Decided to buy the big deal, $75. for $150 worth of body work or detailing. The owner first gave me a verbal estimate of 1300. When I told him I had gotten estimates for just over $300, he said but they don't do what I do when they do body work. Suddenly he decided he would do it for 1000, minus my $150. That took the price down to $850. I went back to the body shop I usually use and asked them again if everything was included that I understood to be fixed. They printed out the estimate which I faxed to QAR and told them I did not want to do business with them.

Description of Work: QAR refinished 2 of my allow wheels and detailed the car. All done is a day and very happy with work.

Description of Work: We brought two cars to DAR for detailing. The first is 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser which stays outside year round & is driven by our 2 sons. DAR did a great job cleaning it inside & out, including steam cleaning the engine (extra $35) It is now ready for a Chicago winter. The other car is 2012 Prius with 11,000 which was detailed in & out and looks brand new again. Everyone was polite, friendly and hard working. The cars were ready when promised and well done. They do body work at DAR and they did have some repair recommendations for the Cruiser but no pressure to do it.
