Great. Very professional service. Thorough and complete. The car looks great. I would use them again. They pointed out some areas where rust might occur. I plan to follow u with them.

Honestly it wasn't one of my better experiences. My review would probably coincide with some things that I saw others had written and that they come off as like a batten switch. They get you in with the deal and then it's immediately high pressure for other additional repairs that would lead to additional expenses. I ended up adding a couple of things and it costs $300. I took the vehicle to them. It was costly and the purchase was for an exterior detail. It was kind of a crabby day when I brought it in but when I had a chance to look over the car in the sun, there were a number of imperfections that truthfully should have been cured with a good exterior detailing and it's still very evident. I question the amount of time that they put in to what I actually paid for upfront. I know they spent a fair amount of time fixing some of these add-ons that I had ultimately paid for to, I do question however they actually put in to the service I had paid for. It was 2 small leather repairs in the seat.

They did a good job detailing a very dirty car. This car is over ten years old and was never detailed. The dirt was ground into the leather and carpet. They got more dirt out then I expected. I will take my car to them every year and have them detail it. That way it will always look good. They are VERY responsive to any issue you have.

The receptionist was fabulous and fit me in right away. I went there because there was a coupon on Angie's list the day after the rock hit my windshield. They got the work done right away. My only concern is that part of the crack was bigger when I picked it up than before I went in so I am watching that it does not grow, otherwise I was glad they took care of me so quickly.

Service was very good, but there was a mud stain that was still present after shampooing the carpeted driver car mat. I guess I could have returned to have them work on it more, but with just the one mat I decided to try and remove the stain. It took some elbow grease and my secret weapon (Neutrogena bar soap), but I was able to remove the stain. With as much dirt that came out during my stain removal, it appears the carpet shampooer used by QAR does a great job with surface dirt, but didn't deep clean the carpets.

Very friendly and professional when I called to schedule. Very friendly and professional at intake and when I came to pick up- aside from a few comments about concerns about what might be said on Angie's list in light of comments made by another Angie's List (or other coupon) user (I felt both a little uncomfortable/pressured, but also compassionate and understanding regarding the speakers concerns - my own down-to-earth manner may have lowered their guard to speak frankly regarding this issue). I was surprised and not pleased when I was told that I would need to pay an additional fee for "SUV Charge" over and above the Angie's List deal of $89.00 ; this requirement was not on the printed coupon from Angie's List and I didn't remember it from the posting. I believe the original quote for SUV was $35.00, but it was reduced to $25.00 after I pointed out that my aged Honda CRV, though taller, was not much bigger than a station wagon. I've just done a search today and found an expired Angie's List posting from this year (2013) which includes this statement: "$35 surcharge will apply for vans and X-large SUV's", so maybe there was one on the posting from Fall of 2012 - however, as my CRV is NOT an "X-large SUV", I now feel that being charged the $25.00 was indeed not fair - unless they used to just say "SUV" and now say "X-large SUV" based on my feedback to them that day in December. I mentioned that my head lights had become very yellowed and cloudy, and was told that was considered extra and the fee for that was quoted at $60.00. I had been wanting to have that corrected a long time, so I agreed to the fee. They suggested a boatload of other things to do which was a bit overwhelming since I felt I had paid for a deal and that that would cover everything. But I quickly recalled that deals are to get us in the door and the selling was done in a polite, none pushy way. So my total for every thing was $89 + 25 + 60 = $174.00. They did a very good job with the cleaning - the car had been pretty dirty and it was returned to me in a meticulous condition (though, sadly, once cleaned I could see how much of my outside black finishes along the window frames were actually worn away -- guess that was just dirt stuck to the location!). One thing that was not so good was that my carpets were wet enough that my car steamed up markedly for several weeks afterwards and due to the cold weather a sheet of ice formed on the inside of my windshield throughout those weeks- I had to use my ice scraper on the inside of the windshield and often drive with the side windows open to maintain visibility. This might not be an issue in a higher quality car - it's not as if the carpets were dripping, so I don't know that longer wet-vacing would have solved the problem. If I every go for detailing again, I will do so in a warmer season.

The car was way overdue for a thorough cleaning and they did a beautiful job. The '09 car looked like new.

They did what they said they would, were reliable, and offered a good value.

There was some confusion about what the coupon was for. I set up an appointment, but salesperson who was there that day wasn’t aware of the $89 coupon for “interior and exterior detailing’ and instead gave me a rundown of what they could do as far as a detailed reconditioning that would cost $1,000. After it became clear what the coupon was for (cleaning), I had to make an appointment on another day. So I came back on another day. I left the car and they gave me a ride to work when someone was available (20 minutes). The employees were all friendly.The detailed cleaning was excellent, but the shop is obviously not set up to clean cars. Their focus is on detailed reconditioning/body shop work. I saw other customers picking up cars that looked great. So, coupon for cleaning was not the best fit convenience-wise for customer, but yes I was sold on the quality of their work if I wanted to have more serious reconditioning done.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. My son loved it. They did a fantastic job. The car came up beautifully and he was pleased with the people at the location. He was very happy with just the way they dealt with everything.

I would not recommend Q.A.R Quality Auto Reconditioning for the $125 Complete Auto Detailing Premium Package ?Big Deal?. They are primarily a high priced auto body shop. As indicated by other reviewers on Angie?s List, they use the Big Deal coupon to do a high pressure sales pitch and try to get you to do a complete restoration of your vehicle no matter how old it is. The pricing of which could represent 50% or more of the vehicle worth. However, their answer to that is that they can purvey a sale for you to a third party for a higher price. I paid $125 for the Big Deal and had to wait 1 month for an appointment. Once I was there the manager made me fill out a form with personal information (for a car wash and wax!). He then inspected the vehicle with me and his ?witness? and pointed out all the other body work that would need to be done. The total extra was about $1000 (my car is 11 years old!). One item was $400 to put glue on a window crack that I know from talking to Gerber can only be fixed with windshield replacement as the crack will grow if buffed. When I refused all that, he looked at the Big Deal statement and said there would be a $55 upcharge for an SUV, a $55 upcharge for excessively dirty interior, and $20 to remove some lettering glue residue that I could scratch off with my nails (total now $255). I expected the SUV upcharge but the interior leather was in excellent shape and there was just some loose dirt on the driver side floor. I disagreed with that and negotiated down to $235 total. Bottom line, QAR would not honor the Big Deal price without excessive upcharges. This all took 20 minutes of haggling and he could not even give me an estimated time of when they would be done. He also began trying to lower the prices for the $1000 job. I walked about 1 block away, called Angie?s List, made sure I could get a refund, and when I returned 20 minutes later told the manager that that I do not want the work done. The car was still sitting where I parked it with no work started. I got the keys back and when he asked why, I said ?I do not like the way you do business? and drove away. It?s obvious how Q.A.R. does business and I would never work with them again for fear of cost escalation and wasted time haggling. I do not think they should be allowed to advertise the $125 ?Big Deal? on Angie?s list.

The President CASEY spent 45 min. pointing out unrelated wheel issues on my vehicle. The total to repair interior door trim scratches, rear bumper scratches, drivers seat scratch, drivers door edge touchup and curb rim damage to two wheels totaled $1209.93. The shop time for my vehicle would be three days. This is a body shop that used the old bait and hook routine. The $75.00 rim repair was the bait. I can not speak to the quality of their work because I opted to go someplace else.

Excellent service overall: timely, professional call-back to my initial inquiry, answered all my questions up front, additional services were offered at time of drop off with no high-pressure tactics, car was ready when promised, smelling and looking like new. Very happy.

Ding removal was successful, and headlights are very clear. Shop opening times were flexible, but once my car entered the shop, the work was done in about 3 hours while I waited - much better than other shops. The owner/estimator was knowledgeable, and suggested other jobs, but did not insist after I declined those. I used my Angie's coupon, and the rates seemed OK, although I did not get other estimates.

I purchased a Big Deal for an auto detail, and finally got around to redeeming it... QAR are really about fine auto conditioning and repair. They gave my car a full pre-evaluation, noticing every scratch, ding, scape and chip in the windshield, and then we agreed to which repairs should happen. They did a fine job on the detail - especially the interior, as they caught areas that other detailers had missed, including all the dog hair etc. our labrador loves to leave in the cargo area. During the exterior detail, they noted and addressed some paintless door dings, and chips in the windshield, and got my old ride looking great. They even polished the headlights, to remove the haze that had built up since another local body shop had tried to address the problem. They look like new! Based upon the work they did on my car, I decided to bring my wife's car in for service, since it was really overdue, and in need of some body and paint repair. They did an excellent job on her car, and got it looking almost show room new. They removed bumpers and panels, sanded, primed, pained, and clear coated them and remounted them. The car looks great, and they clearly took great care with the work they did. My only gripe was that the jobs took a bit longer than we were promised, which was inconvenient as we were trying to juggle having both cars worked on in a few days time, and the shop is 20 mins away from our house. However, the work they did was quite good, and we are likely to return to them for our fine restoration work needs. QAR is not cheap ($2K of work for her car), but they do good work. The word seems to be getting out, as we saw both luxury vehicles, and family battle wagons getting a new life. So, it was a worthwhile trip.

I called a few days before and used the discount coupon found on Angie's list. The people were courteous and efficient. The person to whom I spoke was not there at the appointed time when I first arrived and I had to wait for about 1/2 hour for him to return. I will call ahead next time.

Scheduling was simple and effective and the quality of the detailing work was excellent. Dropping the car off was awkward. We felt pressured to have them do additional work. We did not mind having them offer the services, but did not like the method. Additionally, when we called back later to discuss the proposed work, the pricing for those services changed from what was offered at the drop-off. We did not agree to additional work beyond the deal. They seem like good guys, but the pitch for additional services did not feel right.

My experience with them went really well. I was driving my infant twins around and it was completely filthy, and now it's like a new car. I spent more than what the Big Deal was for. They know how to get a car looking and smelling like new.

Excellent. The owner is pleasant to work with and very nice. Price was competitive for amount of work done. Finished product showed true attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Friendly team, efficient, good communication among the team members left me confident that a pretty extensive "do-list" would, in fact, get DONE. And so it was!

y Check in process was appropriate. Customers should realize the auto detailing is a by appt basis, which means dont plan on having car detailed the same day. It takes all day for a deep cleaning of vehicle. So be prepared to not have vehicle available. The car turned out like new after they were done. Outstanding

They detailed my entire car from head to toe and did a great job. They told me what they were going to do and they do a much better job than they say they are going to do. It was well worth the price and the quality is phenomenal. They are easy to work with and I also have had my wife's car done there.

Great job! I prefer a bit less up-selling (since we came with AL coupon). But money well spent for clean car. No sticky shiny substance on dashboard, as some other detailing services use.

I made an appointment to use my Angie's special coupon. The work these guys did exceeded my expectations. When I took delivery of my car, the dealer's prep guy went overboard with the buffer and put swirls in the black paint. The dealer couldn't get it out, but these guys did. My car came out of their shop and looked better than new. I used them the first time due to a special, I'll use them again at their regular price. It's worth it.

I had purchased two Big Deal coupons ($89/vehicle). Appointment was easy to make. The manager was friendly and the work was excellent. I've had my vehicles detailed at 4 or 5 different places and the work here was as good as any and better than some. Other services were offered in a friendly manner, not pushy, no pressure. I would feel comfortable recommending QAR to any friend or family member and feel confident they would be pleased with the work.
