Description of Work: cut down two big birch trees and ground the stump. They also trimmed an old weeping willow tree. |we found them to be courteous and very responsive. They had missed a dead branch on the willow tree. They rescheduled and came back a week later. They did not cash the check till they completed the work.

 + -1 moreI never heard from Montoya again. I called the office after waiting 20 days and I was told that the tree would be removed the next day. No one showed up and no one answered the phone when I called to follow up. I will be taking my business elsewhere
Description of Work: I called Montoya to have a dead tree removed from the front of my yard. Ralph promptly came and gave me an estimate for the tree removal that matched another estimate I received from a competitor. Ralph was very knowledgeable and also agreed to have the tree removed within 3 weeks so that I could get started on the repair work for my tree damaged gutters and roof.

 + -1 moreI had Javier and his crew out to take down a massive tree between power lines. Not only did the complete the job perfectly, they completed it in one day. Neither Javier or I imagined this could be done. Great job. Should note that I have to give punctuality a B since they were late to the job and did not call to let me know.

Description of Work: They removed an elm tree that had died. They also removed two additional stumps. They came out very quickly to give me the estimate and when I called them they back after deciding which company to go with they came out within a week.

 + -1 moreI was very pleased with the price of this service. I had been quoted three times as much for even less service than I received. Javier came personally to my house for both the estimate and twice for the work - beginning and end - to check on the project. It's very hard to judge how satisfied I will be the final look of the pruned trees, as a tree is so scarred in the winter with fresh cuts. If I have any problems, I am confident that Javier's team would come back in the spring and fix anything. I could not recommend any more highly for the overall value I received.
Description of Work: They trimmed and shaped 2 crab apple trees and a mulberry tree. They also removed 1 box elder, 1 silver maple and 1 black locust. They removed a big pile of branches, too, that I had collected over the years. Finally, they ground the stumps as well and left them for mulch.

 + -1 moreWe worked with Jesus Montoya. His crew did an excellent job -- came on time, did all work we discussed and cleaned up entire yard. Also performed a few smaller tree trimming jobs I had mentioned at initial visit. Quote was $100-$300 less than other quotes received.
Description of Work: Removal of a dead large Norway Maple in our back yard. Ground stump. Clean up of all debris with rake, blower, brooms. Additional smaller limb projects around yard included in price.

Description of Work: I had three trees on my property trimmed up (large locust, large maple and medium sized ash) and one large maple tree cut down. The crew that came was professional and efficient. I had asked them to leave some of the tree cut down for me to cut up later for firewood and they did so willingly. Only complaints I have are the numerous holes left in my yard that I had to fill and they forgot to put support wires in the locust. Upon calling them and reminding them about the support wires they came out the next day and completed the job. All in all I was satisfied with the work they did.

Description of Work: They trimmed an elm tree in the front yard. There was a very large branch from that Elm that was growing over the house that they removed. They also trimmed back brush and trees along a fence in the backyard. They removed a leaning bush in back yard.

 + -1 moreJavier and his team were on time, got to work and didn't quit until the job was done. This was a full days work for as many as five guys. Two of the trees were difficult to remove and had to be carefully dropped in sections. The guys really knew what they were doing. They worked quickly and safely. I would hire this company again, they do good work and they were the most competitive bid out of the three firms I asked to quote this job.
