The provider didn't try to upsell us and gave us his professional opinion, and as new homeowers, helped us prioritize what needed to be done from an urgency and cost perspective. Good overall service. Would use again, and would recommend.

They were incredible. They restored our home to a safe environment for my family and were extremely professional, provided great value and they really knew what they were doing. Other contractors,who stopped by, and our insurance company were amazed at all they did for,what we paid and the end result. They even asked if we wanted the tents left up for construction work, to minimize the dust during the renovations. What a great idea. We were grateful to have that option. I called and requested a mold inspection, and was offered a next-day appointment window. I was told they would do the inspection for free, as we have visible mold. I received a phone call 20 minutes ahead of arrival, at the first part of the appointment window. We had mold in one closet, and had cleaned mold out of two others ourselves. Roy examined all three closets and explained why the mold was occurring (condensation on un-insulated exterior walls, as expected). He advised us to on cleaning up the remaining mold, and on preventing it from returning. He told us that unless it returns, we shouldn't need remediation. There was no upsell, and we were pleased with the explanation.

Ronne, the Project Manager, came out to the house within 2 hours of my call. He measured the moisture level in the basement (this after the waters had receded thanks to a new sump pump installation) and determined the course of action and appoximate cost. The following day, he and his two-man crew showed up promptly at the appointed hour. While Ronne did paperwork with me, his crew got to work removing damaged possessions, cleaning and sanitizing the affected area, and setting up a system of dehumidifier/air circulator to completely dry out the affected area. The equipment ran 24/7 for nearly 3 days. Ronne returned at the appointed day/time to reclaim the equipment and to check the moisture levels. The basement passed inspection with flying colors. I would not hesitate to use them again, should we be so unfortunate as to need their services. :)

Went very well. Rec'd the quote timely and the time between getting the quote and scheduling the work was a week. I was very pleased with how quickly he scheduled the job. Ron was professional in following up with me via phone call to ensure I received the quote and mentioned he would be open to price negotiation if it came down to that. The job took as long as he said it would (one day of actual labor), and he provided me timely updates during the work and after it was completed. He even sent me photos via text to keep me apprised of the progress and findings. When I had questions, he either always answered his phone or quickly responded to my emails. (I NEVER got his voicemail!!) I felt he was committed every step of the way. Overall, I was very pleased and if I ever need work done again, 911 Restoration is my go-to. I HIGHLY recommend Ron and 911 Restoration.

It was just okay. It wasn't great. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. But they tried to upsell.

We had a pipe burst and water was coming out of our fixture in the kitchen. Our ceiling bubbled up and I called 911 Restoration. They came right away and gave me a quote, which was pretty competitive, so I gave them the job. They came and cut holes strategically so that place fans and dehumidifier so that it could dry. After 3 days, they came back and fixed the area where the plumber found the pipe as well as the ceiling, making it look like nothing ever happened. Great people and great service. Ronnie was great to work with and very understanding. Would recommend them to anyone that has any emergency problems.

I purchased a hvac vent cleaning deal (with a diff co.) via angieslist and when that company got to my home that I just moved into in Jan, they insisted that my vents were moldy and they refused to clean it. In a panic, I bought this mold testing deal based on all of the reviews I read here on 3/10/15. Angieslist's RapidConnect stated that 911 would contact me within 48 hours to set up an appointment. I also chose my desired dates and times for an appt at the time of purchase. By Friday, I heard nothing so I called them. Their first (Skokie) # rang endlessly until vm picked up w/ no greeting identifying their business. I called their (Chicago) # and someone picked up saying that they would forward my message and I'd get a call THAT SAME day. Didn't happen. I messaged them via angieslist the following Monday and they responded asking if an appt for the following day, Tues, at 8am would work. I responded right away accepting. By the end of the day, I had heard nothing confirming my appt so I called. Someone actually picked up and confirmed my appt. Then, their technician called saying that he was doublebooked and couldn't make the appointment! He came that Wed, took one look at the vent and said that the black stuff was only dirt, took the air samples and left. There was nothing spectacular about my experience with 911. The appointment process was disappointing. The guy who came out to get the air samples did his job and nothing more than that. $149 is pretty standard for an air sample so the amount paid is fine. I got the results via email within the 2day timeframe that the technician promised. The results were written by the lab and there was really nothing personalized about it by 911. There was no follow-up call. If you're comfortable w/ doing the testing yourself using a kit for cheaper, go that route. I purposely waited a month to give my review so that I wasn't so emotional about my experience as I want to be as fair as possible to 911. When a business provides stellar service, I will always remember it. When a business provides less than stellar service, I'll always remember that too. Unfortunately, what I remember the most about 911 is the hoopla process of scheduling an appointment.

Right from the start, 911 Restoration of Chicago did a terrific job. They were responsive to my first inquiry, came out quickly to assess the damage, got a crew in quickly to start the mitigation process and then started the renovation work. Roy in particular was flexible to meet our needs, got the job done as he promised. They did a quality job and cleaned up after themselves each day. They worked with the insurance company to get reimbursements handled smoothly. Their price was fair. I have no complaints. I've never worked with such a great contractor. A++.

The person that was sent out was very professional. The results came back in a timely manner. Mold was detected in our unit and so we decided to do follow-up work with a mold inspector who did not also perform remediation services (to avoid conflict of interest). He confirmed the results of this company and was furthermore able to identify the source of the mold - which was NOT the room where mold was detected by this company. I would recommend this company - but if you think you have a mold issue I would also recommend doing what we did - which was to find someone else who is dedicated 100% to mold inspection only (no remediation work).

They were good as they managed it very well. They constantly kept me updated. They do a pretty good job in keeping you updated; though they are expensive one need not worry about them. Quality wise their workmanship on the rebuild area was not great.

He was about $1500 cheaper than 2 other providers I had called and gotten estimates from. They came and did the job, and left everything there until it was checked out by a licensed inspector and came back the next day to take everything away. I recommend him very hardily.

HE AND HIS MULTIPLE SPECIALTY CREW WERE OUTSTANDING IN EVERY SAPECT OF SERVICE THE OWNER, RONNE MATZUR, ARRIVED LATE IN THE EVENING OF THE FLOOD. HE AND A SUCCESSION OF CREWS WORKED THE ENTIRE NIGHT AND THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS CLEANING OUT THE MESS, SECURING THE SAFETY OF THE HOUSE AND REASSURING US THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE RESTORED TO OUR SATISFACTION. OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS AT OUR CONVENIENCE THEY RETURNED TO COMPLETE MULTIPLE TASKS AS SUPPLIES AND PARTS BECAME AVAILABLE. OUR FINISHED BASEMENT WAS RETURNED TO ITS ORIGINAL STATE IF NOT ACTUALLY BETTER THAN BEFORE THE FLOOD. FOR ME THEY ARE THE GOLD STANDARD!!!!

They could not do an air test when it was super cold, so they had to come back. When he came back, he was great. He was willing to talk to my tenants and let them know that things were fine and that there wasn’t anything to worry about. They were very knowledgeable about mold problems and they were not willing to jump to conclusions. They gave me possible things that it could be and told me what could happen if this was this or what can happen if that was that. They were just very honest and forthright as to all the different possibilities of things that could happen as we work through this problem.

Roy was great! He sent the team back out to address the few issues I had remaining. the team fixed them all and offer to solve the issues that couldnt be resolved that day. Thank you for resolving my issues. That is a sign of an excellent company and team.

We hired 911 Restoration to remediate a mold issue we discovered after living in our home for a year. Though we have never had a drop of water since living in this home, the previous owners had, and had fixed the water issue. However, it turned out that there was mold left from the time when the home had water. It was very stressful since a few of us in my family are particularly sensitive to mold. We saw great recommendations for 911 Restoration so I contacted them and Carl came out and we found him to be very knowledgeable and thorough. He explained what needed to be done with the allergenic mold found in our home and the timeframe and cost. We decided to hire 911 to do the job. Everyone we worked with - from Carl, to Wayne and Cesar who did the day to day work, to the other crew members who handled things like air duct cleaning - was excellent. We primarily dealt with Wayne for the 3-4 days they were in our home and we were very impressed with how respectful and professional he was. Both Wayne and Cesar were sensitive to the fact that we were living in the home while the work was being done and they were so considerate of our kids and the fact that it was hard for them to have workmen in our home. Our experience with the people from 911 is that they are top notch, caring, and professional. They helped us through a stressful situation, right before the holidays. I would recommend them highly.

It was fine. I just wanted them to get the mold count in my basement.

Although we did not utilize 911 Restoration their prompt response and follow through were greatly appreciated. Both gentlemen that we worked with were polite, professional and patient. If we are in need of services related to water damage, we would definitely call again for an assessment and quote.

Roy and 911 were very efficient, responsive in professional throughout the project and successfully removed the mold contamination on the 1st pass

It went great. The crew arrived early and stayed late and got the whole job done in a few days. The most difficult part was dealing with all the junk in our basement. They understood how attached my husband is to his workshop and collections. They moved everything salvageable to the middle of each room, and sealed it in plastic. This included heavy workshop tools like a lathe. When pulling out the drywall in the basement bathroom they accidently broke the toilet lid. They replaced the entire toilet with a fancy Kohler toilet at no charge. If you saw this bathroom it is kind of like having a Rolls Royce to transport yard waste...over the top..Ranni stopped by every day they were working and even checked the day after they finished to make sure he was satisfied with their work.

We were upset when we found mold and 911 was the quickest of all services to respond. They got us in ASAP and the job was detailed and spotless. We have a baby in the house and are so happy for the help of this company.

They had my wrong address at first, but they did provide the results.

The process went, overall and I am quite pleased with the experience. At first there was some confusion over the initially scheduled time. Upon calling the company they were sincerely apologetic and very accommodating in rescheduling later that day when I was next available. The technician was right on time and quite professional. The report with the test results arrived early the next week, consistent with what the technician told me.

They are awsome, they did an amazing job and the price was reasonable for the work they did compared to others. Did a very very great job and paid attention to detail.
