From the very first appointment, I found her to be either late or call and reschedule at the last minute. On at least a couple of occasions, I had told her I wanted to be present when she came to the house. She did not and just came by one day and planted the 2 replacements. The ball stuck out of the ground on both bushes and in spite of my best efforts, did not make it. . I gave up trying to get Maria to come and replace them and finally used another service to get them replaced at a cost of approx. $280. I mentioned this to Maria in an email and she promised to reimburse me $100. That was almost 2 months ago and my email reminders to her have gone unanswered since then. I even mentioned that I would be submitting a review and that too did not work I do not like giving bad reviews because I know how difficult it is for small businesses to succeed but in this case, I feel like it is justified - at least in my particular case.

I contacted this company multiple times because they had a big deal promotion for what i needed to do to my house. The grading of the yard in my house was running all the rain water towards the house instead of away from it. I called both contact numbers at least twice and got voice mail every time. I left messages and never heard back. I gave it one last try to the principal's number and finally got an answer. More specifically a text message. This seamed to be the only effective way to get an answer and have a conversation. Maria came that same day to inspect the yard and gave me an estimate on the spot. I asked her about some additional work at the end of the meeting and promised me an addendum estimate within the next few days. I never got this estimate. I gave her a couple of weeks and never got it. Finally I decided to contact her again and just do the original work. She sent me a written proposal with a scheduled date for work. I signed and mailed to her with the deposit check. The check was cashed promptly. The work day came and nobody came to do the work I did not hear from her. I decided to text her since I knew by then that a phone call was futile. I will transcribe the conversation so you can be the judge. Me 10:46am "Where are you people? You were supposed to be here on Monday." Maria 10:50am "We will be there tomorrow around 9am." Me 10:50am "You should have called me on Monday at the latest to let me know you were not going to make it." Maria 11:16am "Sorry" Maria 11:19am "I may have given you a specific date to start I do not recall" Me 11:20am "Its on the contract you sent me!" Me 11:22am " The one I sent you back with the check deposit you already cashed. And why are we still communicating through text? This is so unprofessional." They showed up the next day at 9am and did the job well. I was fortunate that I work from home and was able to make sure the work was done as i wanted it done. They were not going to grade as much as I had requested because there was no place to put the dirt except the grass area between the side walk and the curb. I agreed to it under the condition that they at least seeded it. I am really surprised that they did not anticipate the necessity of hauling away the excess dirt. In the end the quality of the work was excellent and the price is though to beat. But the customer service is horrendous.

I had a special Angies List coupon for Landscaping Design services and had Lawncare Plus Design visit my property regarding a major renovation to the site. I gave her sketches of what I proposed to do and asked for her professional advise and a rough cost estimate of the work. I never heard back from them. Four months later I changed employers and cancelled my project.

They created a beautiful landscape in my large yard (6000 SF) 2 years ago. However Maria is slow to respond to requests. This year she provided "spring" clean up and maintenance. I was disappointed because the trees weren't pruned and rather than replace one of the bushes that was failing, as agreed in the contract, she pruned it. The bush has not responded. I'll ask her to replace it. Based on her response, I'll decide about using her in the future.

Performed full fall clean up of yard and perennial beds; raked leaves; cut back/down all old perennials and shrubs.

Our designer came to our house and talked to us about what we wanted our backyard to be like. It was a total mess at the time and took a lot of vision to see the potential. She helped us identify all the trees and plants in the yard and determine which should stay and which should go. After our initial meeting she came back and took pictures and measurements of everything. A few weeks later, she presented us a professional landscape design that incorporated everything we wanted. This included not only a hardscape layout, but all the plants we should plant and where. The company was willing to do it for us if we wanted, but we wanted to do it ourselves at our own pace and were not pressured to buy anything else. We're now about 75% done implementing the plans and still reference the plan for everything we do. Great company and great service, would definitely recommend.

Maria responded to my initial request within a day and came out the following week to assess my lawn which was extremely damaged. She provided a detailed proposal of what she could do and it was priced appropriately for my size and shape lawn. The team came out right on time to provide the services on scheduled date A few weeks later the lawn was mowed and any pieces of sod that did not take, were replaced. While it was a busy time of season, it some times took a few days to receive a response to follow up questions, etc., but Maria still made sure that I was satisfied with the all services. Lawn looks great and I plan to use them again for Fall clean up service,.

Showed up as scheduled and completed on time

They were fine. They showed up when they said that they were going to. It was fine afterwards and there were no additional charges. They were able to set us an appointment on a fairly short notice and they were punctual. We had raspberry bushes in the garden and they cleared those down to the ground which we were not expecting. Neither of us were home while they were doing it so we do not know if they would have asked us if we wanted to keep them or not. That was the only thing that I was surprised about. We might get them again for this fall.

When Marie come over to the house to give us ideas and her price, everything went good. After a few days of no e-mail with a contract price I called the office. The answering machine said some one will get right back to me. Waited a few more days & called both the office & cell numbers. Waited a week, called again still not a word from "Lawncare Plus Design". In my opinion, Lawncare Plus should not be on Angie's list

So far, I have been very satisfied.

Not good, very unresponsive and overpriced on the patio quote. Sod quote was a good price, but once I told them I was going with someone else for the patio suddenly the sod work was a month wait.

I would not use this company again. There were so many things wrong with the work this company did for us, the least of which was not showing up for appointments, including the first one! We are now paying another company to fix what was done. It seems that they really did not know what they were doing from the planting to the laying of stone. Two months after the stonework was complete, there was cracking and major movement. They came to fix that and, again, two months later, the movement and shifting was worse. We have had six large trees die within 1 1/2 years of planting. Three were not planted correctly and three had insect infestation. This cost us an addition $7,000 to have them replaced, by another company, as the guarantee was for one year only. Even though the owner was notified, before the year was up, that the trees were doing poorly, the guarantee was not honored. The designer and owner were each giving us different information about the work being done and pricing. The designer stopped showing up and answering emails and phone calls eight weeks before the job was finished, even though she still worked for the company. That left all the desicions up to the owner of the company, who wasn't well versed in the design aspect. Change orders and decisions were made that were not approved by us and we were charged for the work it took to remedy the outcome. It sometimes took two weeks to get a response to any inquiries and the workers showed up sporadically. Sometimes only one person was sent, even when they were laying stone! By the end of the job, we just wanted them done, out of our yard and out of our lives. This job was one giant example of how not to get a job done and work with clients.

Wanted to discuss a few details prior to purchasing their big deal on new lawn installation. Left 3 phone messages and send email - no response.

We originally declined part of the deal, because it was provided under a different service agreement. LawnCare Plus has been VERY unresponsive to calls, and so far, we are VERY unhappy with the service.

They did a superb job! Maria went above and beyond! The staff was hardworking, punctual and courteous. I would definitely use and recommend them!!

Our extensive project included complete demolition of a deck and re-architecture and renovation of our back yard. Maria worked extensively with us in designing and selecting every detail needed to make our project a success. Initially, she came out, took pictures and listened to our needs and wants. She responded in a timely manner working with us to maximize the potential for our budget while also offering suggestions on items. The proposal was extremely detailed. While the weather did hamper the length of the project, Maria was always on-site and all the workers very extremely friendly, skilled, efficient, and detail oriented. As the project started to be completed, she offered ideas/implementation on detail enhancement- such as borders around the edges as well as around the columns. Anything that was extra cost, she was completely upfront on and there were no surprises. Additionally, Maria and her crew installed sod, fixed some drainage issues, including laying gravel to clean up a pathway. We are also using them to perform weekly lawn maintenance. Overall, the job and experience was top notch and I would whole heartedly recommend Lawncare Plus Design.

It went very well. She was very thorough and knowledgeable on how to arrange the plants. She drew up a beautiful design plan.

I found no problem with her but I think the suggestions that she made with our situation were too extravagant and too expensive. The design and consultation were reasonable but to have the job done itself would be very expensive. She was professional.

They were totally overwhelmed. They should have put a limit on how many people they would sell the coupons to as they couldn’t keep up with me. That is the reason we decided not to go with them. They should sell as many as they can handle. It was a beautiful design but was very long in time.

I can not say enough good things about Maria. She came out and looked at the pathway and gave me a great estimate on the paver walkway. She then talked about things no one else did (re-grading, adding the extra downspout, landscaping) and she did it all for less than any one else's quote! On the day they were scheduled to come out her team arrived pormptly at 7am. They were curtious and worked hard all day. It took 2 days to complete the job and Maria stayed to supervise the ENTIRE time! They did an AMAZING job. I could not be happier. And after she was done everything was cleaned up and looked beautiful. Maria even reused some of our old stones to create pathways to the waterhose and our play area. She also took left over dirt from the where they redug the pathway and put is around my trees and the foundation of the house. I will definitely hire them again when we do more landscaping or hardscaping. Excellent job! Very attentive to detail!

In general, I am very particular, and have high expectations of those with whom I work. This company more than met those expectations. Maria and the crew were courteous, professional, thorough, and timely. In addition, Maria was extremely helpful and patient with both my questions, and with a few small changes that we made in the project as it began. Obviously, I am completely satisfied both with the quality of the work and the fairness of the price that the company charged. Put simply, I would (and will) hire this company again to do additional work.

the designer did not give us a price quote and said that the boss needed to be consulted. the designer did not get back to us with a quote.

Maria was very prompt, represented the company well and listened to our needs. Her proposal was provided the next working day. The pricing was very competitive. What is represented in terms of our cost is landscape services for the entire year. Prepayment of all services included a discount. Nicely done!
