My only frustration was about the delay in scheduling the job. Maria was very busy which was probably due to the large response from the "Angie List" promotion. However, once the work was underway, I was thrilled with everything. Maria was very patient with me in collaborating to achieve the final design. Her crew had a great work ethic; they were pleasant, punctual, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Maria promotes the use of quality materials and insists on proper installation. Most importantly, the crew had great skill and did a quality job. I had 3 other quotes for this project. Maria's prices were good, and the work was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend Lawn Care Plus for paver installations.

Did the $89 "Big Deal" and paid $50 extra for removal of waste. They were punctual and got to work fast. I was unhappy because (a) they knocked down a retaining wall and put it back up but it has since collapsed again, and (b) they did not trim shrubs which I thought based on the description of the deal was part of the $89. The lawn trim, edge and leaf removal was great and they did a nice job. It just seemed very rushed in that they didn't seem to want to do the other stuff.

Maria came out to take pictures and discuss the project. I sent her the plat of survery for the property via email. Two months later, I received the design plan, and she came out to discuss. I did not like the plan, and thus did not persue the project with the company.

She was very nice, took some pictures, great to work with, she had great plans, just not good for my dogs. The plans were just not functional for me.

My favorite part is that I requested a late cleanup due to some tress that dropt heir leaves very late. They accomidated this request.

Everything went very smoothly and they finished the work when they said they would. Great job.

It took quite a while for Maria to get over to my site for the initial appointment. There were some delays getting the plans finalized. Punctuality might be something for the company to work on.

Maria was great! Her design was quite appropriate for the property and my wishes. She came in under budget and was finished before I knew it. Her crew came and took down a small tree, old, overgrown evergreens and some newer bushes I had planted in the last few years (which were relocated and used in the final plan) and all the rock "mulch" Neighbors on either side use the same rocks and her crew was happy to take wheelbarrows full and fill in their beds (with their permission). It was all gone and the beds ready for the new plants in one day. We had gone over the design and made some changes and the plants were ordered. Initially, a small patio was put in by the front door. I did not think it looked right and Maria agreed. It was replaced with a paver patio that went to the end of the house-much nicer. Even on the day of planting she was open to changes-some things were switched around with no problems. She kept me informed all along the way and everything was done within a week (from removal to finished planting and the patio). I really liked that she tried to reuse instead of just throwing away (like the rock and the newer plantings-some were also transplanted to my backyard,). Very good!

They cleaned up the yard pretty good but they did not clean along the house where the annuals came up. They came to my door and our agreement was that they would charge $50 to haul leaves away, but I told them they did not have to do that because I can just bag them. There was debris half a block down the road after they left which I was not to happy about. The part of my yard they cleaned up was done well, just the back of the house and end of the yard to the fence were not cleaned up well.

Maria from Lawncare Plus was one of three contractors we brought by to give us a quote on the paver patio system. After an Angie's List coupon, her price was maybe $100 above another contractor who's specialty was not necessarily patio installation. Given that Lawncare Plus specializes in these types of projects, I felt confident going with them. After signing a contract, Maria took care of permitting; once the permit came through, her crew was ready to start. One minor hiccup was that the crew left a pile of concrete debris in the driveway without informing us, but her crew came back out to move the pile so the wife and I could access our garage again. After two and a half day's labor, the patio was installed, and the final product was quite pleasing to the two of us. There was another slight mixup on the back end where we accidentally overpaid, but we eventually received a refund. The two minor issues led to a slight deduction in "responsiveness", but the patio looks great and the price was totally right!

They did respond very quickly, which is good. But I didn’t realize they were that far away, the service provider contacted me to let me know that I wasn’t within their service area.

I purchased a Big Deal for Gutter Cleaning. I emailed Maria and she responded very timely. When I asked for a schedule date, she told me not to worry as I did not have to be home nor turn the Big Deal into her. The actually came out in a Sunday at 9am sharp and were very professional. I would highly recommend as well as be a repeat customer.

I scheduled an appointment for a fall clean up for my property and the company did not show up or call to cancel. I had to call multiple times to find out why they didn't come and when they were planning on coming. They did not have an excuse for not showing up, only to say that they were too busy. When they came they did a nice job with the leaf removal and mowing, but did not do any trimming which was promised in the coupon. When I called to ask why the bush trimming was not done, she said that trimming was not included. When the service was over they asked for a $50 check for the removal of the leaves which was not explained over the phone during scheduling even though we talked about them removing the leaves. I was very disappointed and would not recommend such a unreliable and deceptive company.

They did a nice job but the wording on the "fine print" was not clear, it says leave removal on the advertisment for the $199, but that only means they put the leaves on the curb not actually take them away. We had to pay extra to have the leaves taken because our suburb does not come by and clean up the leaves on the curb. Other than that they did a very good job.

It took forever for her to come out her, and I never received a plan even though I had sent her a survey plot.

They came out and gave the assessment. They opened the door for a much larger quote. They gave us a scematic.

Our next door neighbors recently put up a fence in which they destroyed our side of the property. We needed to get the soil shored up quickly to prevent dirt seeping into our French Drain that Lawncare Plus installed 2 years ago.. (And it is working beautifully I might add!) Maria came over, took a look at the situation and gave me an estimate on the spot. Since we only had a 5 foot wide space to work with, selecting the correct materials, plantings, etc. was important and still have a walkway.. She was wonderful to also suggest plantings that we can do in the spring. After I decided on the type of trees, I sent her an email and in a day she wrote back with the estimate and was able to come out to do the work that week. Well, I couldn't be more pleased. Maria's team worked hard creating a beautiful, professional landscaped siding. I love it. I highly recommend LawnCare Plus.. I will definitely be hiring them when we get our gates replaced and for other landscape / hardscape type of projects. They were punctual, timely, affordable, professional and they do excellent work.

We chose to have a plan done by Lawncare Plus Design, as a result of an Angie's List Big Deal. The owner, Maria Larios , came out and met with us at our home to review our needs. We found her very professional and easy to work with. During our meeting we found out that the company is a family owned business and the owners are hands on and involved in all aspects of the work. During our consultation Maria listened to our concerns, likes and dislikes and was respectful of our budget. She committed to a date to have a plan completed for us and met that commitment. Maria again came to our home and presented the design plans. The plan was detailed and professional. We tweaked the plan based on our specific likes and dislikes and budget. Maria promptly presented us with revised plan and quote. Based on final quote and and ease of working with Maria we chose to have her do the work. Maria and her crew were always on time and there when she said they would be. The crew was efficient, easy to communicate with and Maria was always present at start or finish of a task to ensure work done correctly. The products used were high quality and the plants were mature and healthy. After living with our design a while we found changes we wanted to make. We called Maria and she came out and made the requested changes. We would highly recommend Maria Larios and Lawncare Plus Design for any landscape or hardscape project you have.

I got the design done. I did not go any further because we could not get our schedules to work. The design was fine, it was a hand rendering, which was suprising. I kind of expected more from the deal. I am still looking for someone to get the work done.

The first thing to note was that Maria came over twice before the actual service was completed. Once to evaluate the area and a second time to drop off samples of different pavers we could use. We were impressed by this because we hadn't even committed to doing business with her yet.Secondly, at the same time we were getting a quote from Maria, we were also working to get a quote with another highly-rated landscaping company on Angie's list. Although the other company provided us with a thorough, formal proposal and communicated a little more professionally by phone and email (Maria sends text messages which we didn't think was a big deal but others may not find as professional. We also had to ask her for a proposal, it wasn't offered up front), their prices were way more high. While the other company had more bells and whistles but was far more expensive, Lawn Care Plus Design Inc seemed less organized but had good prices, so we really knew we had to look at who was going to give us a great final product. Both companies had high ratings by past customers on Angie's List so we knew we needed to go with Maria. The project went very smooth, Maria and her team were here bright and early both days (rain delay on the weekend held things back) and the finished product looked excellent. Overall, it was a pleasure to work with Lawn Care Plus Design Inc and we will definitely use her again/recommend her to others. See pictures of the completed patio attached!

It took awhile to hear back from her. The design was not bad, but it was different from what I was looking for.

Overall not well. I was never told of a 50.00 cahrge for the estimate, and she never called or emailed me the information she said she would.

I emailed with Maria to set up an appointment. We scheduled a time that came and went with no call and no Maria. I got an email later that evening saying her earlier appointment ran long. We emailed again and agreed on the following Monday. Again no one showed or called

They did a fantastic job and were very responsive to our questions throughout the process. At the start of the process Maria helped us design the patio. She then obtained all necessary permits and materials. The workers that completed the project were very nice and professional and Maria was always available to supervise and when questions came up. It has been a year since the patio was installed and we have not had any problems. The patio looks great and drains properly. We are planning on having them do some additional landscape projects this year and expect to use them frequently in the future.

We contracted Lawncare Plus and Maria, the owned, came out to the house in a timely manner. The work got completed quickly and all seemed fine. Shortly after, we had some concerns and questions and it became very difficult to get a hold of anyone on the phone. I eventually had to go to a neighbors house, whose lawn she services, to talk to Maria. Even then she was not very receptive and open to hearing my concerns. One of the old front walkways that was removed ran through a section of our lawn. After removal of the walkway, sod was put down in its place. It was quite clear that the sod that was used was much darker then the surrounding grass. After I was finally able to get Maria on the phone she told me that the grass would eventually blend in and not to worry about it. It's been three years and it looks like I have a landing strip of darker grass going right through my lawn. This, however, is the least of our worries. When they built our patio, they failed to obtain a building permit, which they said they would. I'm a first time homeowner and did not think to ask to see a permit. They built the new patio on top of the old one and told me that this was common practice. As a result of this shabby build that is not up to code according to my village, they built the patio above the foundation line and it has eroded our bricks and foundation causing flooding in the house whenever there is a significant rain. We have had water mitigation companies come out and inform us that if we don't get this taken care of soon, then we would have much larger issues in the near future. After many ignored phone calls and messages, Maria finally called us back and denied any responsibility. In fact, she told us that she could repair the patio, but wanted to charge us an a rediculus amount of money. This is absurd. Why would we pay thousands more to have her fix the work she did not do right in the first place? We had certified UniLock installers tell us that they would not do this kind of work to their worst enemy. At this point we have to have the entire patio torn out, our foundation patched, tuck-point our bricks and grout, pay for the flooding of our finished basement (removal and replacement of the carpet as well as tearing out a wall and replacing the soaked wood), and have the patio re-installed all on our dime. To me, this is criminal and Maria has refused to work with us to resolve these issues and doesn't return our calls. Please, NEVER USE THEM. I looked them up on the Better Business Bureau and they have a BBB rating = D! Well, to say that I'm a more informed homeowner now is an understatement. The unfortunate thing that is this lesson is costing me thousands.
