Came out for a quote and were able to have the guys start the fence three weeks later. Was done in two days! Complete removal of old chain link and wooden fence including all the attached vines that had grown in through the fence. Building and installing of new fence and custom built trellis over the gates. Looks fantastic. There was a little debris left in the yard from the posts cement but very minor. Otherwise we have had nothing but complements from the neighbors.

They did a great job. They were very fast and responsive to my call. They were out here the next day and sent an estimate with the details of the job by email right away. They were out here again a week later, and they finished the whole thing in about four hours. They were quick, and the quality and price were good. They were not the lowest in terms of the price, but I trusted them and was very happy with them. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Tomas arrived promptly and performed an estimate of the work. The next day they sent me a detailed proposal, and their price was the best bid out of several potential vendors. We scheduled the work, and I pulled a village permit while they took care of calling J.U.L.I.E. to check for buried lines. The first day they arrived to dig the post holes. The next day they came back and installed the fence. They left a bit of a mess, but came out promptly the next morning and cleaned it all up. I was looking for a simple, no frills wood fence that looked nice, with a functional door. I believe Family Fences did a good job and I would use them again. Rachel was prompt in answering my questions via e-mail about the work.

They were prompt in returning my calls and answering my questions. They were professional, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. The price was very competitive. I've used three fence companies over the 15 years I've owned this two-flat, and this was absolutely the best.

The work was exactly what we wanted, 2 feet extensions above the gate door so that the posts (which are gradually moving apart due to earth dynamics) is able to shut and now locks with a new dead bolt.

When they came by for an estimate I asked for two estimates: a simple fence and a higher end version. It turned out the higher end version was not much more expensive so we took that. They also helped us sort out what we needed to do to stay in compliance with the local ordinances. They showed up on time and explained any special things they had to do to make the fence fit the property. The fence is built really well, is sturdy, and looks great. A number of neighbors have stopped by to comment the fence was a great addition.

They were very responsive and the gates turned out nice. I would consider them in the future but ran into a few issues along the way. I felt like a few corners were cut but am happy with what I received for the price. First, they did not pull up the chain link fence posts even after I received confirmation from the workers and the owner. They just cut them off at the ground, I had to go back and make sure they cut them below grade so nobody got hurt on them. There were also a couple of additional minor issues with the design that they had to redo which they did without any hassle. I just wish it were done right the first time. I would recommend staying home while they work to make sure the fence is done the exact way you want it. I am actually having issues now with the gate rubbing the post as it shuts because the weight of the gate seems to have shifted the post. I wonder if the gate should have been hung after the concrete was cured. On the other hand, they did a great job avoiding the tree roots that were in the way. This was a huge concern of mine since this is the only old tree in my yard and I am very happy with the way it turned out.

These guys are very professional, and really went the "extra mile" in clearing the site, so that the fence could be properly installed. Also, they cleaned up all the wood/debris from the old fence. I would highly recommend this company.

Overall, we were very pleased with the work. Tomas was very nice, responsive and professional. His workers were great. They showed up on time, worked quickly and skillfully and cleaned up after themselves.

The crew arrived punctually and began demo of old fence. The crew was neat and polite and cleaned up after work was completed. If we were to redo, we would discuss in detail the exact configuration of fence and gate in advance. As it turned out, our neighbor needs to demo a small concrete barrier, then we can reset a portion of the fence. Also, specify desired hardware in advance. We are very pleased with the outcome and would recommend and use services again.

They finished the work in 2.5 days. There was only one problem (the crew disposed of the plants they had to dig up in the trash can instead of in a recycling bag). However, when Tomas came to do the final inspection and we told him about this, he apologized and called them back to finish the clean up properly. I would not hesitate to recommend Family Fences.

I called Thomas the owner and he came out the next day to give me an estimate. I had him start work as soon as possible. He scheduled an appointment within the week that had to be rescheduled due to heavy rain. The crew returned on the weekend at no extra charge to compete the work (some companys charge extra to come nights and weekends). It is very high quality and I was impressed with their efficiency. Now we are no having them perform extra work for us.

They came out and gave an estimate. They were in the middle of the quotes in terms of $, but based upon their professionalism and recommendations on Angie's List - we decided to go with them. They installed the fence quickly and without disrupting ours or our neighbors yard/plants around the fence area. Everything was taken care of in one day and cleaned up well.

We had three gates that needed realignment and five posts that needed replacing. They were responsive by phone, by email and came out sooner than expected, did a fine job and were a pleasure to deal with in all ways. As an example of their honesty, they missed one broken post upon first inspection, which they did not include in their estimate. When they discovered it on the job they advised us and gave a discount on the repair "because we should have seen it." Then they missed another entirely, which I'll call them about because I fully intend to use them whenever I need fence help. Really a good, quality mom 'n pop group, highly recommended.

He built a rod iron fence up front, and a privacy fence in the side. He was in time, and he did exactly what he was going to do. He showed us what the process would be. He worked very hard, and did the work on time. I also recommended him to other people as well. My overall experience with him has been fantastic.

It was positive. They did a good job and communicated well what needed to be done. I originally called them about the mailbox and they noticed the gate needed aligned, so they were willing to fix it. It was quality work and at a reasonable price.

Everything went well. You don't have to be home when they install the fence.

So far, the service has been good! They called me back right away and got an appointment right away, and they started the work within a week of the proposal.

I picked this fence company because they were very nice, prompt in coming for an estimate, and really CHEAP. Their quote was half of what I got from another company. I also liked their cedar fence designs best because they have some patterns beyond the usual plain privacy fencing. They scheduled the work quickly, which pleased me, too. The crew was on time, worked hard and they did a great job overall. All of the fencing they installed looks really beautiful. My cedar fencing is gorgeous. There were a few problems, though. They installed my gate backward, and they missed a few paint spots, which are starting to rust already after a couple of months. They also got some dots of primer paint on my neighbor's fence. They asked me for a check at the end of the final job day, which I gave them. But I didn't notice these issues until later that day. When I called, they were nice and apologetic and said they'd come right back to fix it, but they didn't. I called several more times, and they apologized each time and said they'd come back. I finally just gave up. I really do think these guys do great work. They are just a big crew who are working really fast, and that caused them to be a bit careless with the small details. They did my whole job in two days, which was great, but I would have appreciated a careful once-over by the crew leader, who probably would've noticed those things if they weren't tired from working all day and still rushing off to get to another job. So I do recommend Family Fences, but be sure to check ALL of the work thoroughly before you hand them the final check.

Mr. Estrada, the owner, came out the day after I called him to give me an estimate. It seemed high to me, but I was anxious to have the work done, so I agreed to it.I also had some concrete removed which was reflected in the price. Except for that, his workmen did an excellent job. I would hire them again.

They very promptly answered my initial inquiry by email, came to see the job site that day, and had an estimate for me the following day. A few days later the crew was out early and completed the job by noon. They were efficient and did a quality job.
