Description of Work: I requested to schedule an appointment by email, but they simply replied saying that " they don't have any further availability thus week, thanks for consideration"! They didn't even asked me if I like to have their service on following week or what so ever! It's very rude and inappropriate reply to receive! I will never contact them again!

Description of Work: Chris is an extremely competent plumber. He supplied and installed a new water heater and replaced a double sink laundry tub, carefully removing the old concrete tub and leaving a minimum of dust. He also installed a custom made cover for a sump pit and repiped the conduit to the storm sewer. At all times he was efficient in helping us to select items that would be suitable. Friendly and communicative, Chris is the kind of repair person that I like to deal with - upfront, candid, and easy to deal with. I would definitely use him again for plumbing issues. |

Description of Work: Whole house plumbing inspection. Chris was extremely thorough and I felt he went above and beyond in his inspection. He began late in the afternoon and stayed until early evening even though I'm sure he was tired after a long day. He was very friendly and professional.

+ 0 moreChris came out to do an inspection that was one of the big deals. He did everything promised and gave us a quote on other work we needed done. Very prompt see above report.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced ejector pump. Replaced two lavatory faucets. Fixed all toilets so the two running toilets no longer were a problem. Reseated one toilet. Chris was here for six hours. He did a great job on clean up. He seemed very thorough. We are waiting for some other work to be completed but we will call Chris to finish some other work we need done. Polite.

+ -1 moreChris was really excellent! He was easy to schedule with even around Thanksgiving and despite him having twin babies at home! We had a dryer fire a couple of months ago even though we've had our dryer cleaned by Sears yearly since we bought it (we have american home shield), we now have a 9 month old daughter and washing all those baby clothes must have made a TON of lint! It was very scary (Sears repaired/cleaned it and said it was fine, but I worry) so we really wanted a second opinion and to KNOW it is safe. He was early to the appointment and had everything needed. He said there was a ton of lint (Sears cleaned the dryer but not the rest and it needed to be done) but everything should run faster now. It does! And to know it is safe is wonderful! (We still never run it at night just in case!) There was no mess because he cleaned up everything. We will use him again and he would now be our first choice if we ever needed plumbing or a plumbing second opinion (AHS plumbers are sometimes shady). Not Chris, he was very fair, reasonable, and trustworthy!

He told us that our water heater needed repair and said that since the unit was quite old, we would be better off replacing the unit. I was impressed by the fact that he had suggested a direction that would actually make him earn less money. The repair would in fact have made him more money. Thank you chris.

I am always hesitant to have a stanger come into our home, but you immediately got a sense of professionalism and honesty from this guy. I highly recommend using Chris Booker as a plumber and for that matter any other things you can convince him to fix around the house!
Description of Work: We had Chris called Chris out on the recommendation of a neighbor- and we were incredibly impressed!!! We had originally called to have some plumbing replaced for our new kitchen, he did an amazing job- I never knew you could have a sink that not only didn't leak but also where the pipes looked attractive and created more space under my sink. We found out upon snaking the drains that we also had trouble with our waste pipes, upon replacing it I noticed a significant difference in the smell of my basement, I had been trying for years to figure out what the odor was to realize it was the old leaking waste pipe. We also decided last minute to have our dryer vents cleaned- you wouldn't believe how clogged they were!!! Now the dryer seems to be running much more efficiently and they clothing is getting dry faster. When we were presented with the bill I was worried about the small fortune we were about to spend... except I was totally surprised to find out how reasonable all the services were! I will definitely be calling him for ALL of our plumbing needs.

+ 2 moreOverall, the work that Chris performs is always top notch. He is very much a perfectionist, and will not leave the job half done, or poorly done. He will finish when it is perfect. Chris does not take any breaks when he is working. In three years, I have never seen him sit, use his phone, or eat while he is wokring. He leaves the area clean and is courteous to everyone in my family. Last Thanksgiving, when my water hearter overflowed, I anxoiusly called Chris. he showed up within the hour to troubleshoot the problem, but since the water heater was very old, it needed replacing. Chris shut off the water to the house, and went with me to buy a new water heater. He transported the water heater to our home and installed it very quickly. He even disposed of the faulty water heater before my guests arrived. The entire process took three hours. Chris is a true professional, who I recommend to anyone looking for quality work at a very fair price . He is an asset to anyone using his services.
Description of Work: My daughter recommended Chris twhen we needed a plumber years ago. He has been our plumber of choice ever since, and we are very happy to have the chance to review him on Angies list. Recently, Chris performed his annual drain cleaning of all of our interior drains. Since then all of our drains are clearing quickly, and are no longer overflowing when my grandkids "use" the faucet like they used to years ago. Chris guarantees his work for one year from the date of service. In July there were terrible storms in our area. We were out of town, and heard that our neighbors basement flooded, so my daughter checked our basement, and found that the basement was flooded. We asked Chris to use the spare key to enter the house to deal with the flood. He not only drained the water from the basement, but he also sucked the water out of the rug, placed fans all over the basement, in order to prevent mold and other damages. When we returned home, the basement was dry and undamaged. Chris soon after installed a basement drain to prevent this from happening again. Chris' prices are very fair, and he charges per job, rather than per hour like most servicemen. I would recommend him without any reservation.

+ 0 moreChris Booker is a true professional. He is on time. He is meticulous. He does excellent work nd he leaves our home completely clean when his work is done. His prices are always fair. We first started working with Chris when we moved into our new home and the very next day the washing machine made a small flood in our laundry room. My father recommended Chris Booker saying that he had "saved" him many times. We called Chris and he came out to our home and fixed the problem. We have never had another issue with the washer or the plumbing in the laundry room. Chris even called to check on us that same week to make sure we were doing ok. The day before our family vacation this past summer, our dishwasher broke. I called Chris Booker and he re-arranged his busy schedule to make time for us since he knew that we would want to leave a fully functioning home. He came that very night to help us and stayed until he completed his worked and then waited to see that an entire dishwater cycle was running properly. We left the very next morning on our trip and felt really fortunate that we had Chris Booker to help us.

Not only has Chris taken care of our clogged drains, but also our outside gutters, a sink/disposal replacement, and a burst pipe behind a wall. Last year I signed up for Chris' maintenance contract. For $300, he cleaned out all the drains in my house and was available this entire year at no extra charge any time I had a backup. Chris is honest, friendly, and reasonable. I was soo tired of dealing with service people that seemed to give me quotes that always seemed to go up. Chris is there when you need him most.

Description of Work: Chris was extremely responsive to our call when our basement was flooding on a Saturday morning. Chris immediately identified the problem in our sump pump and within 1 hour Chris was installing our new sump pump, which he went out to purchase on our behalf. Chris also stayed at our home and helped remove water that was coming in our basement guest room. He then refitted and secured our downspouts around the house working late into the night. We have also hired Chris to repair and clean our drains in all bathrooms as well as consult us on a possible leak after another company completed our kitchen remodel.
