Description of Work: Chris came and assessed the problem with a leaking shower fixture, but could not fix it as he was not familiar with Grohe fixtures. Despite his visit to the house and assessment of the problem, he charged me nothing because he could not fix it. He is a very honorable man.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for a Complete Dryer Vent Cleaning with Safety Inspection.

Description of Work: I called Chris for a dryer vent cleaning because the laundry room was filled with condensation every time the dryer was used. The dryer and washer are in a small room & the dryer is vented out through the roof (2nd floor laundry). Chris pulled the dryer forward and saw that the flex vent was not connected to the rigid duct in the wall. I had tried to DYI & had obviously failed. Chris cleaned all ducts to the roof & removed the build up of lint in the wall. He did a great job and by far, has the most reasonable price to clean a dryer duct.

Description of Work: Our hot water heater died at 8 pm on a Thursday. We found Chris through Angie's list and he completely lived up to the great reviews. He came out that Thursday night and ensured that everything was properly turned off (gas and water) and returned the following day to install the new tank. We are so grateful to have found Chris. Excellent work, very professional, and fairly priced.

Description of Work: I thought that I had a sump pump issue. He called before he arrived, stating he was a few minutes away. He arrived on time, looked over the situation and determined that no action was necessary. He did not charge me any thing!! No call fee, no truck fee, nothing!! I offered to give him something for his time and effort. He respectfully said "no thank you". "I did not do any work, I do not need to charge you for anything." He appears to be an old fashion type plumber. He appears to be a very nice man. When I do have a plumbing issue, he will be the person that I call first!!

Description of Work: Chris is a fantastic plumber, a thorough professional. We had used Chris' services before when he used to live in the building. He is detail-oriented, meticulous, thinks through the problem before starting to fix it. For example, he worked on our kitchen faucet replacement, but also gave me heads up about the rotting drain pipes, cleaned out the seating of the valve ring in the sink - replaced all of them at minimal cost. He is very professional, does not do anything before showing you the issue, impact, repercussions and what are the options to resolve the issue. He is extremely knowledgeable on end-to-end plumbing services and requirements - from bathrooms to kitchens to water heaters etc. I would work with Chris again any time. Highly recommended!
