They were just fine. My refrigerator and freezer just stopped working. I had to quickly move my food to a neighbor's house. They came out the next day, after I called them. The fixed my refrigerator for very little. It needed a cleaning and they a replaced a part. My refrigerator is working fine now. I was very pleased, that's all that was wrong with it.

No problems at all. Quick, efficient -- everything you want in an experience! Yay!

ABT charges a minimum labor charge of $179 to send a repairman to a house to fix TVs. This seemed like a lot of money for the first hour, especially since parts would cost more. Besides the fact that he was able to very quickly troubleshoot the problem, Anthony, who told me he had 30 years' experience with TVs, knew enough about the systems to figure more than one way to fix it. As it turned out, even if we had studied all the manuals that came with each additional component we've added to the TV, we would have never been able to reconfigure and set up this high-tech system without an electrical engineering degree! Anthony even drew a chart for us so that the simpler configuration he ended up with would be easy to understand and use. My only complaint was that I wish we had not wasted so much of our time (and scheduled and waited for the cable guy) before having a pro tackle this problem.

The job was done properly. They didn't have the tools so they had to leave and come back. It seemed like it was something they didn't do everyday. ABT uses foil exhaust ducts which is not allowed by the gas company.

It was a very good experience overall. Needed to change my appointment for delivery and it was expedited quickly. The store really has its systems streamlined. Very customer friendly. I highly recommend the store.

I changed my mind about which vacuum cleaner I wanted and decided to return the one I bought to ABT. Somehow I managed to lose the receipt and they accepted the return based on the information in their computer. It was a huge relief and I would definitely buy other items there again.

Initial hookup did not work properly but they came back and fixed everything. Very satisfied. Very prompt. Great customer service. Very good prices on TV.

IT WENT GREAT. OUR SALES REPRESENTATIVE SUSAN WAS VERY FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPED US GREATLY. OUR DELIVERY GUY WAS JACOB. AT FIRST, HE SAID THE REFRIGERATOR WOULD NOT FIT. I NEEDED LESS THAN 1/2 INCH TO MAKE IT FIT. THIS UPSET ME AT FIRST, BUT JACOB WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PATIENT. HE EVEN CALLED ANOTHER DELIVERY CREW TO STOP BY AND ASSIST. THE OTHER CREW LEFT BUT AFTER MY FATHER AND I MOVED A SMALL KITCHEN CABINET AND TOP, EVERYTHING WENT IN WELL. JACOB AND HIS PARTNER WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, CLEAN, AND DID A NICE JOB. THE MICROWAVE WAS A FLOOR MODEL AND AFTER IT WAS INSTALLED, WE HAD AN ERROR CODE. IT WAS A FAULTY HUMIDITY SENSOR. I CALLED SERVICE AND THEY CAME OUT PROMPTLY TO REPLACE THE PART AND ADJUST OUR DISHWASHER. CHARGE $19 PER APPLIANCE TO REMOVE AND HAUL OFF. WORTH IT! ABT'S SHOWROOM IS SOMETHING TO SEE. ALL AROUND THUMBS UP. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING APPLIANCES FROM THEM.

I investigated and purchased online. I received emails immediately and a call from the customer support center within 24 hours as promised. Delivery was easy to schedule. The installers were great and cleaned up after installation. I love my new appliances.

It was fantastic. I first started with someone in customer service who was top drawer. Once they assured me that purchase of an appliance and that the subsequent delivery, removal of old appliance, and installation was NOT a 2-3 day ordeal, I was hooked. The customer service rep from Abt transferred me to Raphael who took great care of me over the phone. I already knew what dryer I wanted. He said it would be in the following week. It was. Abt called to arrange for delivery which was set up for 1/2. I got an automated call to remind me of the delivery and an early call the morning of 1/2 to let me know I was first for delivery, which I had hoped for. The guys who delivered were super efficient and very careful with my walls and wood floors. Abt from now on!

Their price was good. Delivery was on time and prompt. They were great about notifying of a delivery time on the morning of the delivery date. Would have preferred to know the day before, though. Install of top oven included running a short electric outlet to the cabinet by the new oven. They did a good job on that also. This involved two deliveries as the top oven was on backorder. All went smoothly start to finish. Karen, my sales rep was also superb all through. Prompt in sending me the order receipt & prompt in setting up delivery. I've used ABT several times over 20+ years and they are generally great.

On the morning ABT was supposed to arrive (Thursday) I received a call that the electrician couldn't make it. This was inconvienient, but we were able to reschedule for the next day. The two pleasant fellows arrived Friday afternoon and began work. A new circuit breaker was installed, the disposal and dishwasher placed. At this point the guys told me they couldn't figure out how to connect the disposal to the drain with the PVC pipe and that I would need to call a plumber for a "custom hookup". I was quite upset as this was 3 working days before Thanksgiving and they were leaving me not only without the use of my new dishwasher, but also without a functioning kitchen sink! Saturday morning my husband and I (both with no plumbing experience) decided it just didn't look that complex. We bought some PVC pieces at Home Depot and hooked it up within about an hour. Very unprofessional to leave a contracted job half done, I guess they just didn't feel like finishing on a Friday night.

The telephone salespeople were courteous, helpful and informative. The installer called as promised, arrived promptly, removed the old unit and installed the new dishwasher quickly. He did stay long enough to run a cycle to determine that the unit was working correctly and to check for any leaks. He was professional and courteous, a credit to his company.

It was wonderful. Delivery was good when they promised. The products are wonderful. We had a problem with the ice maker on the refrigerator. They needed to order a part from Maytag which took time, but once they received it, it was installed and I had no more problems.

When oven was on for a short time, there was no perceptible odor; when oven was on for a longer period, however, gas leakage was evident. Abt was called, service technician came within scheduled time, checked components, found that the igniter was defective, and replaced it. Technician also corrected a situation that had existed before, i.e., nonuniform heating throughout the oven chamber, so that now it actually works better than before.

When I walk into ABT, I always feel like I'm walking into a car dealership. I dress in casual clothes, which keeps the sales people away until I ask for help (good and bad, I guess). The best thing about ABT is that they are always willing to deal, depending on your purchases. This time, I was able to cut about 8% off the bill, which is like buying tax free. You can't do that at Best Buy. Also, they're selection is second to none.

Our oven was constantly taking too long to preheat and to cook food. Often ruined items. The repair ended up being easily diagnosed and repaired (dirty/blocked exhaust at the bottom of the units). We did have a problem scheduling the service call and repair. We did not buy the oven from ABT. This, and other appliances are in a house we moved into a year ago. When I called, I was told they could not repair units that were not purchased from them. When I explained that we are long time customers (numerous appliances in our previous home), and already had ABT out to the new house to repair 2 other appliances (washing machine and refrigerator). The service call was then approved by a supervisor.

Knowledgeable salespeople. He was able to explain the different price levels for gas ranges and what you get in each price category. Very competitive pricing. Delivery went smoothly. They do try to get you the best price possible. Delivery is free but there is an installation charge. They will even give you the Internet price in the store (even though it is often less). Only problem is you have to drive out to Glenview (unless you want to buy over the Internet).

Steve Weiner was great to work with. He is very knowledgeable of the appliances and was able to point out all of the differences between the various models. He was thorough, professional, and very personable. We are quite pleased with the dishwasher we purchased.

Overall, it's an excellent company to do business with. They're very responsive and their pricing is extremely competitive and their selection is incredible.

They were great. We had a few hiccups. One component was spec'd wrong, causing the cabinets to be sized wrong. When I brought this to the attention of our sales person, I didn't even need to ask him to fix it. Immediately, he fixed the situation to our satisfaction (and their financial cost). Also, we were buying some very high-end appliances, and I felt like we really got the straight information on the different brands, etc. That made us feel very confident in our decisions.

(JOB 1) ABT is # 1 in service and sales. They stand behind their product. They bend over backwards to work with the customer and they deliver as far as DeKalb, Il. There is no other place to buy electronics and appliances than ABT.

We needed to replace a built-in wall oven, and we carefully measured the dimensions of the opening in the cabinet. We showed this information a sales person at Abt, and she cheerfully sold us a 30" oven (without looking at our measurements) and gave us a decent discount. When the workmen came to deliver and install this oven, they determined that the 30" oven wouldn't fit without having to enlarge the opening, which involved cutting into the sides of the cabinet. The workman in charge explained that this would destroy the integrity of the cabinet, and he wouldn't do it. Instead, he arranged the return of the 30" oven and the delivery of a 27" one, along with a refund of the difference, still allowing for the discount we received. He came back 2 days later with the 27" one and did a beautiful job installing it. Because of their efficiency, we were able to have our oven in time for Thanksgiving, even with the delay.
