The thing was under warranty and the coil had a leak in it, so they only covered the replacement of the coil but not the charge to come out, find it, and fix it. By the time we got through, it cost me $500.00. Was I happy? No, especially since it was under warranty and I still had to pay all that money. The quality of the work, once they did it, was okay, but as far as for the pricing, that was a little steep. It takes them a couple of days to get out, so if you call and something's broken, it could be anywhere from three days to a week; that was for the stove. For the air conditioning, I had to call and make an appointment a couple of weeks in advance, so that part sucks. I will continue to use them because number one, the air conditioner is still under warranty and number two, it's hard to find anybody else, especially with all these appliances I have in this house from them; to service it, it's just easier to call them than to try to find somebody you're going to trust, unfortunately. Once they get here, they're fine. They give you a window and they're usually right in that window, but trying to get them out here takes a couple of days.

Great. I am a big fan of Abt and have always found their service to be stellar. I ordered the hot water heater over the phone via a knowledgeable sales rep who identified what model would be a good replacement to my old model (using serial #). I scheduled the install for a convenient weekend date. On the morning of the install date I received a call at 7:30 am alerting me to the time window they would arrive. Tech called again when they were 15 minutes away. Install was very easy and fast. Tech kept the area clean and worked quickly. While I did not get a competitive bid for the install, the tech told me that Abt prices tend to be much less than plumber. They apparently have licensed plumbers on staff for installations. All in all, a great experience and I'd recommend them to anyone,.

They are fabulous. Their sales people know their products unbelievably well. If you have a particular space to accommodate appliance, they have the sizes and selection.

GREAT; CAME EARLY AND FINISHED UP IN A COUPLE OF HOURS; EVERYTHING IF FINE. TOOK OUT BROKEN HEATER.

It was an excellent experience and everybody there is really knowledgeable about their products. The workers are very knowledgeable and very professional. They have in this neighborhood for a long time and anytime the neighborhood had an issue with them, they would fix it immediately.

What kept me coming back was the quality, the professionalism, their knowledgeable about their products and the price. The workers were very knowledgeable and helpful. I gave them an A because they pretty much know everything about their products, everybody there. There are probably 50 salesmen working on a floor over there and everyone of them know everything about every product there.

They stand by their product. They work with you. Our washer, the warranty expired one week before when it went out and they give us an actual cost on the new washer and upgraded us. This company has been around since 40s or 50s. They are really good. From the delivery, they take care of the product.

They installed my new dryer. While installing the dryer they found that the dryer vent was clogged. I hired them to clean the dryer vent and they came out a week later to perform the work. They were professional and knowledgeable. I have always been happy with their service as I have used them in the past.

Fantastic. From the quote to the completion of the install, Abt really has been an outstanding company to deal with. Every technician that has been involved with this project has been extremely knowledgable, professional, and courteous. I was fully expecting to be left with exposed PVC and gas pipe across the finished basement due to the existing ductwork, but they took the extra time to figure out a way to run the gas and venting without leaving any exposed pipe or any damage to the ceiling! Their price was the best of the 5 companies that I had quote the job, and they were able to provide and install the Ecobee thermostat that I requested without a large mark-up like the other companies were charging. I highly recommend Abt for your HVAC installs!

ABT came out and determined that we needed a new compressor motor. Ordered part and a week later came back and repaired. ABT understands that reputation is everything-I have had nothing but professional, prompt and neat repairmen and installer from ABT. It really is a great corporate culture.

Scheduled ABT to come out for estimate, I hoped they could come out quicker for the estimate. John came out for estimate and he explained all the options, supplied quote quickly and took care of utility company rebates. I had additional questions so I went to ABT where I was able to see a furnace, AC and humidifier. I was able to find an additional discount from a discounting website that was partnered with ABT. Regina discounted the furnace and AC cost and schedule a very quick installation date. The installers Jason and Kevin were the best, I have never seen 2 guys work so hard (~9 to 7). They were polite and help me through the process: informing me what was going to be done, asking for my input on pipe location and teaching me on how to work the systems. Strongly recommend ABT for HVAC installation and I am very pleased with the Trane systems.

They sent us an estimate, we had some questions, they never even bothered to call us back. It's weird because it's such a big company and service is supposed to be there. We've been doing business with them for 40 years and this is the first time we've ever had a problem with them. But heating and air conditioning is not their thing usually. They didn't bother calling us back, it was like it was too small of a job. They came out, said we'd have an estimate the next day, it took a week, we got the estimate and then they never called us back. It's like they've gone from carrying normal appliances to carrying only the high end stuff. It was really low blow, it was like $6000 for a furnace and an air conditioner. It was at least $1000 lower than any other estimate we got which is why we called them to ask about it and they never returned the call. Otherwise I think they are just great. We've never had a problem with them before. It was very obvious that the kid who came out to give us the estimate wasn't really well versed in what was required and he wasn't interested. It's like he couldn't wait to get out of here. He showed up on time.

Bought a dishwasher to replace one that had nothing but issues with. When ABT arrived they realized the electricity hook up wouldn't work with the dishwasher we purchased. The installation crew immediately contacted the store to alert them to the situation. They explained they will come back today to install if we find one in stock and will work with out hook up. Within an hour the store contacted us and provided us with option that were in stock. We agreed on a model. Within 15 minutes the installation crew called to verify the store had called. Explained they will be here this afternoon. Their prices are the best in the business and their service is above and beyond expectations. This is the only place I will ever purchase from. Thank you ABT!

We bought a new refrigerator from Abt. After the initial purchase, I had second thoughts about the size, so I called and changed to a different model. Then over the next day or two I had second thoughts about that model. So I went back to Abt with a friend, and Joey showed me the fridge of my dreams, at a great price. He changed my order for me, and kept the original delivery date. Due to our small kitchen and odd entryways, we were unable to take delivery the first time they brought the refrigerator. Abt was very accommodating. They put up with my waffling on the model, changing my order both times, keeping my scheduled delivery date. When my final choice was too large to make it thru a doorway on my enclosed back porch, the delivery guy (Andrew) was very helpful with suggestions. After he left with my dream fridge, I decided no other fridge would do. So I removed trim from the doorway to widen the entrance , and Abt rescheduled my delivery and returned today with my refrigerator. The delivery guys who came today (Darren, and I'm sorry, but I can't remember his partner's name) were great. They were efficient, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They had to take off my kitchen door, and make a couple of twisty turns to get the fridge into my kitchen without a scratch. My husband and I have always had great experiences with Abt. It is always the first place we go to when we need an appliance, TV, etc.

ABT Appliances installed my stove. The stove made a funny noise, with no questions asked replaced the stove. Workmen are very professional and give a 3 hour window of arrival. On the delivery day they called and let me know the exact time they would be there so I did not have to wait around. When I went to the store they had cookies and it smelled good.

to Nathan was absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable, patient, reassuring, caring, and a wonderful communicator. He gave me all the time I needed on the phone, and fully and compassionately answered all of my questions. He never rushed me at all. He treated me like I was the most important person in the world! I never expected that kind of service on the phone, especially on a busy Saturday afternoon when the store was having a big sale. I am a senior, I don't drive, and would not have been able to go to the store in person, so this meant so much to me. Nathan also told me his schedule for the weekend, so that I could call him back later as needed. I told him I would call him back after the repairmen left, to tell him whether or not I needed to buy the refrigerator, and to buy it from him if I did need one. As it turned out the repairmen (from Chicago Appliance Service Co.) were able to fix my refrigerator! So I did not have to buy a new one. I called Nathan back and left him a message telling him I did not need a new refrigerator after all, but thanking him profusely for his help, and telling him that when I did need a new refrigerator, I would absolutely buy it from him. I also told him, on my message, that I was going to put a review on Angies list about ABT and him. What a wonderful experience! If I hear of anybody who needs to buy an appliance, I will tell them about ABT and Nathan. In your question on the survey about where the service was performed, I answered that I went to provider's location, but I did not go. This was all done on the phone, not in person, but there was no way to answer the question correctly.
