Entire transaction, from purchase at the store to completion of installation, went smoothly and professionally.

Once we were able to set a service appointment, they were prompt. The repair was effective for two weeks and then the unit failed again.

ABT could not have been more professional, from the purchase experience to the installation. I will definitely continue to use them, they are true professionals who seem to have a good understanding on what is truly great customer service.

First, the dispatcher claimed that I could get a morning appointment. Not so. They call in the morning and provide a multiple-hour range based on their convenience, not yours. Take it or leave it. Not as promised. Then when the person arrives, he wasn't able to do the job. Why? Takes two people to do it. So we had to schedule another time -- same deal, dispatch says they can do morning, but in fact, that constraint was either never passed along or was completely ignored. When they finally came the second time they fixed the problem, and I find the folks who come on-site to be polite, capable, and efficient. But I find the lack of responsiveness in their dispatch disturbing. Would I use them again? Maybe, if I had a window where my schedule isn't as constrained as it normally is. And definitely, if they make their time windows narrower and set up a dispatch system that actually takes customer constraints into account.

We always purchase our appliances and electronics from Abt, so it was a no brainer to return when our dishwasher died. When I purchased the dishwasher I had my list of machines to look at. when I arrived at the store. I was approached by a friendly and professional salesman about five minutes into my search for machines and he asked if he could help. He went through my chosen machines, and I pointed out that the online price for the dishwasher I selected was less than the store. He quickly pointed out the store matched the price, plus he reduced the price of my machine to match another machine I was looking at which was a cheaper cousin, and not as good of a machine as the one I wanted. I never felt pressured, and when he asked about the extended warranty, I answered no, and he moved on. We set up a delivery date, which I had to change at the last minute and there was no hassle. On the new date, two friendly and professional delivery men arrived within the scheduled window to install the machine. They explained what they were going to do, and within 30 minutes, my kitchen was back to normal except I had a new machine gleaming back at me where the dud machine had been. The floor was clean and it was as if they hadn't shown up at all. The machine cost $611, the install and removal of the broken machine was $129, and the rest was the crazy sales tax we pay in Cook County. This type of service is why we point our car in the direction of Abt when we need something they sell.

We wanted a 65 inch TV however, our living space made it necessary to place the TV on a corner cabinet and we were having difficulty finding a cabinet that would fit and would also complement the decor of our family room. Our ABT sales consultant, Todd Shuster, came to our home and measured the space to be certain that we could accommodate the TV. He then contacted ABT's supplier of entertainment cabinets and determined that the supplier could construct cabinetry that would meet our needs at a price that was affordable. Todd was very knowledgeable about what home entertainment systems would work best for us and steered us away from inappropriate (and sometimes more costly) features. Everything was delivered timely, without any damage and fit perfectly. We are now enjoying our new home entertainment system. Over the last 26 years we have almost always purchased any needed appliances or electronic devices from ABT and we have never been disappointed. All of the salespeople we have dealt with at ABT have been knowledgeable and professional, however, Todd Shuster was absolutely outstanding in the service and advice that he provided to us regarding this home entertainment system.

They did a very good job and always have. When they installed the TV, they also gave us estimates on sound systems. They provided a reasonable approach that made sense for us. The sales person was very knowledgeable and kind. They came when they said they would and did excellent work.

Great. We have purchased all of our major appliances from ABT for some time now: Competitive price, the greatest selection and helpful but not pushy sales staff.

They are fabulous. All the sales people know their products and they will tell you the truth about which ones are good and which ones you need, which ones you don't need; they will bargain with you a little bit and come down in price. This is where I go for all my appliances.

They had a Labor Day sale and we purchased the dishwasher at that time. They delivered it and they installed it. I did call the salesperson back to thank them for a wonderful experience.

went there, was a little overwhelmed by the size and scope of the operation, a nice salesman saw that I was a bit confused, helped me to look at something I had a question about, then helped me find the model I wanted from the internet, showed good knowledge of that product, then sold me the cables I was going to buy and didn't pressure me to buy the more expensive ones like everywhere else. The actual buying process was quick and easy on their computer system, and my item was ready for pick up within minutes. I have always heard heard good things about this store, now I know it was all true. I drive there from Lombard and it is easily worth the trip, I will be shopping there again.

Our sales person had been recommended by a friend and was outstanding (Bill Craig). I had already done some research and the process was fast and I got what I wanted. He pointed out which appliances qualified for a manufacturer's rebate. When the refrigerator was installed I realized that I needed to exchange the unit for a different make due to some functional issues (no problem with the original, I just needed some different functionality which wasn't anticipated at the time of purchase). NO problem! Bill was happy to explore other options when I went back the next week and ABT exchanged with no issue at all. As always the installation people were careful, knew what they were doing and did a great job - both times!

They offered very good service as usual.

I was pleased with the level of expertise by the sales person we had, but then all of the salespeople there seem to be quite proficient at knowing the specifics of every brand name available. Things were delivered on time and all worked as advertised. Because we bought through our contractor, we were entitled to a discount on the total amount

In all of our dealings with this company, all employees are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. I feel that we have received extremely fair prices and been rewarded for our loyalty. All servicemen have been extremely efficient when delivering and setting up our TV and our refrigerator. We have asked for opinions regarding all of these products before purchasing and found that the sales staff was extremely helpful. I cannot say enough great things about this store.

They entire staff treats you great. The service center is great. I can't say enough positive comments about them.

The salesman was knowledgable, patient and worked with us on what we were looking for and what fit our needs/budget. The installation crews took their time, made sure there was a fit and worked to make it perfect; they valued their work. This was our second time using Abt, and we'd use them again.

As first-time home-buyers, we did a lot of research before making our kitchen appliance purchase with Abt. We purchased a full kitchen-suite of appliances: range, microwave-hood, dishwasher, and refrigerator. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! IT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY! Seriously. Take a week, or a few extra days, and get comparison quotes. Go to the stores in person - get a salesperson's card. Make a deal. We started our experience at Grant's and got a written quote. We took that quote (but maybe knocked off $300 or so) to Grand and got another, better quote. Grand felt like shopping for a car (not in a good way) but they beat Grant's quote. We took that better quote to Abt, again knocking off several hundred. Abt beat it and then some. We took that quote back to Grant's to see if they could match it -- they could not. At no point in the process did any appliance vendor ask to see written proof of the quote! Remember this! As long as your numbers are "in the range" you can make a deal. From our first quote to our purchase, we "saved" nearly $3,000. Appliance salespeople have ROOM to deal... don't hesitate to ask for their BEST price. Honestly, it was not just the price that made us make our purchase with Abt. Go to their showroom. There's something about this place - a feeling - especially if you go there after visiting other appliance dealers - you know Abt is not going anywhere and will assist you if you need it. On a major appliance purchase, that's really good to know. Abt did have the best price -- and when we made a model change after our purchase, the change was easy and accomplished over the phone, no issues. Since our purchase, we've chatted online with the service center with first-timer questions like "how do you clean stainless-steel" and other ridiculousness. Abt has great customer service and a willingness to help you with any issue, no matter how small. Next time, we'll do the same thing... almost. We'll get our quotes and do our homework with the other vendors, then we'll head to Abt prepared and we'll make our purchase at Abt. We will definitely be repeat customers.

I did a lot of researching before buying from them. I talked with Benjamin and he went well below the other prices I saw. It got here on time and they were accomidating to my schedule. Since I work nights, and they couldn't come in the evening when I was awake, they were very quiet and respectful of the fact that I was asleep.

Benjamin gave me a great deal. The product was delivered a couple of days later, and they were very accomodating on the phone. They helped me with my decision and weren't just trying to sell me the most expensive one.
