no problem. They had to fix a door on my Bosch washing machine. Second time. No fault of Abt.

I called ABT to get a price on a replacement furnace for one that had been installed just 12 months before. The same estimator as before came out, looked over the situation, and gave me very good price on the replacement because all the wiring, gas pipes, and vent pipes to the outside were already in place. What I like about Furnace and A/C purchases from ABT is unlike any other company they have the prices posted on the sales floor, so you know exactly what model you are getting and what it is going to cost you including normal installation. With another company they gave me prices based on a "Good", "Better", "Best" HVAC system without giving you the exact model numbers that you would be getting. Ben & Benjamin arrived with the new Furnace for the install, and removed the previous furnace (only a year old, but had been damaged by flooding). They assembled the new furnace, slid it in place, and hooked up the wires, gas and air intake and outflow pipes. It went very quickly because it was basically the same as the previous model.

They are great. They are the only place I will ever go for electronics. I purchase all my appliances like TVs there. They are wonderful to work with and are willing to work with you on the price.

New house, broken dishwasher, two working parents, two kids who don't do dishes, company coming and a grandma who was stressed! We were able to place the order over the phone (we knew which brand we wanted and the sales person provided advice on the proper model for the space provided). It was quick turnaround and they installed it on Christmas Eve-- what more could you ask for.

On Abt"s excellent website we found a freezer to replace the old one, which was over 20 years old. The price was good. When I called the store, the salesman was excellent. Courtesy, knowledge and friendliness. He told me that the exact model we wanted had to be ordered in, but a very much similar model with only cosmetic differences was in stock and could be delivered the next day, and at about $60.00 less than the website price of this stock model. This conversation took no more than 5 minutes. Delivery, hook-up and hauling away of the old one all went smooth as glass. Our unhappiness is with this Frigidaire freezer: 1. Apparently no one makes the "Flash Defrost" models anymore. Younger salesmen in stores don't even know what that is. So we ended up buying a frost-free model. These are only available in an upright style, while we had and still prefer a chest type freezer. Since we had to switch to an upright we were limited by space and ended up with less capacity. 2. This new unit is so loud, it can easily be heard in the bedroom next door, even though there is no door or other opening connecting the 2 rooms.

The sales people at ABT were most helpful and pleasant to deal with. These purchases included many small appliances such as a slow cooker, mixer, knife set, blender, toaster oven and many more kitchen items. We also purchased a TV. They went out of their way to make sure these were shipped promptly and keep us informed. The TV had to be a special delivery because they would be moving to a new location and they made sure it arrived before their moving date. I have always found that ABT's service is the best and most helpful. I would never hesitate to purchase anything from them. Their service people are also very polite and knowledgeable. I also find them to be very honest. You also can not beat the selection.

We noticed our frig was running warm. Called and company was able to send tech next day. She was punctual, efficient and answered all our questions. Made the diagnosis of problem, but did not have part on her truck. Apologized. We then had to schedule a second visit with a tech to install the part (defrost heater). This part was known to be in stock at the store. We were told the store would call the next day with time of appointment. They did not. We called to figure out our time and were told it was for the following week, much longer than we had previously been told. Were able to schedule a tech visit for next am. Called that day for confirmation and given a time in pm. When tech arrived he was pleasant and quickly finished the installation. Our frig now works.

We went on their big sale day that they have a couple of times a year. They are very attentive at that time and they also have people from the actual companies there, so like Whirlpool salesmen, Caanon salesman. That is very helpful. If you have the right people selling the stuff and they know what they are talking about it helps a lot to make the sale and to make me happy. We did buy a camera from them. We had already researched it and knew which one we wanted so we didn't have to talk to them about it. They felt we had picked a good one. The Caanon representative was there and he agreed it was a good one. Then a sales representative came over to help us and he was very nice. I think we had done our research so the sale was pretty easy as long as they met the price. And they did. He also helped us with our CD changer. Those are pretty basic so you don't need to know too much.

Late last year I decided to have a vented hood installed over my cook top to replace the recirculating hood I had. While the ABT team came out to measure for the installation and to confirm that the installation would work, I spoke with them about how much I hated my wall ovens because they were so small. They measured and let me know that I could replace them with larger ovens in the same space. I ordered the new ovens in November. The installation went well but after a few weeks I noticed that the oven wasn't working the way I wanted it to. It would intermittently turn off and turn back on. ABT sent out a technician to look at it. He ordered a new mother board. It took a while to have the board installed but I had it done a few weeks ago. The oven died last night. When I called ABT this morning to tell them how concerned I was about this oven, they said that they would replace the oven with the same model or I could change models but I would have to pay the difference if there was any. They managed to find me a significantly upgraded model that had been returned to the store (ABT unpacks appliances before leaving their facility so if they get to to their destination and don't fit, they're returned to the store and deeply discounted to get them out of the showroom). The total cost to me will be $25. They'll install it on Monday. No hassles, no complaints, no difficulty. This is why I love shopping at ABT. They are the best.

No matter what you buy or what service they provide, they back it 110%. I saw a television I wanted and called it in and charged it. They delivered it and I hooked it up and that was it. Previous to that we had a washer and dryer installed. And when the guys came out to do the installation, they noticed the hot and cold water controls were old. The service guy said he needed to replace them and he did for $35. If a plumber had to come out he would of charged me a lot more. We have always had a good experience with them. They go out of their way to keep the customer happy. We have recommended to others.

I'm really not much for story telling the purchase of an appliance, but I will say the following: I bought a new dishwasher. They delivered and installed it on time and 1st try. I have purchased other appliances at ABT. I like the physical appearance of the store and I believe the staff is genuinely interested in making the experience pleasurable. I will continue to do business with ABT. I trust them and I trust they will stand behind the brands they purvey.

I ordered the dish washer from the company. They came out to install and found some issues with the counter top, plumbing, and the fact it needed an end panel. They had to come back and bring a plumber. They came out on a third visit and installed a custom end panel and installed it with the dish washer. The dish washer blends right in and has been working fine since.

Everything went well. Extremely happy. They are the best company I have dealt with.

My son waited all day for him and he never showed. We tried to call back to get a hold of him and left a message and we still have not heard from him.

Excellent service! Paid for installation of new microwave and hauling away of old one. Service person was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. Highly recommend.

Abt had great prices, and they offered delivery, installation, and removal of the old dishwasher for the lowest price. The dishwasher is great, and they were in, out, and done in less than an hour. All parts were included. They left no mess, and it runs like a charm. Excellent! Then comes the saga of the dryer; right before we left for Thanksgiving, our dryer stopped working. I called the Abt repair desk, and they said they couldn't get to us until we were away. The parts manager said that, if I were confident, their favorite parts distributor was less than ten blocks from our house. He even told me what it might be! Are you kidding? It's like Miracle on 34th Street, with Santa telling people to go to another store to find a certain toy for their kid. I decided, after contemplating the degree of difficulty and the likelihood of me needing stitches, to set an appointment for when we got back from vacation, and what a wise decision it was! The tech showed up, did some diagnostics, and replaced everything in an hour. He also cleaned the dryer from top to bottom. In short: I will be using Abt for any appliance repairs in the future, and they will be my first stop for new purchases as well. Who would expect the level of professionalism and the degree of customer focus from a big appliance store? From now on, I will expect the same level of awesomeness from their competitors as the great staff at Abt gave me.

It was fine. We've had a number of repairmen from Abt for different appliances and they've been unfailingly professional, competant, patient and helpful. I had several issues with the refrigerator: a high-pitched, soft whine, the ice cube size and the ice cube shut-off bar. The repairman did his best to adjust everything and explain how to use all the features. He apologized for the whine, which only happens periodically, and explained it's a known problem from that manufacturer. They are unable to correct it but the repairman was so polite and apologetic that I don't fault Abt, just Whirlpool. I'd use Abt again in a minute for any appliance repair.

Called Abt to work on our GE Profile. Our water line in the fridge barely ran and our ice maker kept freezing over before ice cubes could be made. I had worked with another service previously, and they couldn't diagnose the problem and left for a part and never came back. Not only did Abt show up, they fixed both problems and the fridge works better than ever. In addition, they fixed a leak in the water line from a bad valve. While here they also gave some great advice for our dishwasher to get cleaner dishes as well as some advice for our oven. The technician's name was Bobby Diakakis, and I would highly recommend Abt and him.

Called them to find out the price, dropped the vacuum off the next day. They called me 10 days later to let me know it was fixed and I could come pick it up. The price I was quoted on the phone was what I paid, plus parts. What more can you ask for.

We started out by having 3 different Generac installing companies, one of which was Abt, come out and submit a quotation. Sales person from Abt was very knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions, and make good suggestions for our project to go well. Our job was a little more complicated than a simple generator install, due to the distance of the generator from the gas supply and the electric meter. Abt sent out a licensed electrician, for the quote. The other 2 companies sent out a salesman. One of these actually admitted that he was never on a complete install of a generator. One of the other companies said that the generator we wanted would not be able to run our older air conditioner, Abt's electrician pulled out his information sheet and said, no problem, and he was correct. After the generator was installed we verified that it was able to easily run the air conditioner. The other vendor tried selling us extra load shedding equipment that we did not need. On the day of the install three individuals came out, two electricians, (one was actually the person who did the quote, so he was very familiar with the job, and knew exactly what to bring with), and a plumber. The entire job was done in 1.5 days. All three were very professional, experienced, knowledgeable, polite, and could answer all of our questions, and meticulous to every detail. Before they left everything was painted, caulked and swept. One would think that Abt would be charging a higher price for all the professionalism, quality of work, and time spent, No! Their price was actually over $1,200 less than the other two contractors that are popular generator installers in the north shore area, for the identical generator, and special options we requested. I would not hesitate to recommend Abt for purchasing and installing any whole house Generac automatic standby generator

Overall, they are excellent. I will use them again in the future.

The project went smoothly. They replaced furnaces threw away old units, cleaned up after themselves and left. They left me the relevant paperwork to get rebates from the gas company. Even fixed some faulty duct work to the water heaters for $75, which seemed extremely reasonable to me.
