I thought the service was so excellent that I got a stove and I love Viking now because of the service. They stood behind their product. I had problems with service people trying to get it fixed and they made sure it got fixed and it probably would have been a really big hassle had they not. Their service and their integrity stood out. They are expensive.

Estimate went very smoothly with a lot of detailed communications. I was quite surprised at the price they quoted for a very good Trane furnace, humidifier, coil, NEST thermostat, and attic installation. Two guys arrived with everything they needed and got working on it right away. Seemingly without a rest, they completed the entire installation with all my requirements without increased cost. After the installation, I had a look and it was exactly as I was hoping for. Chris and Chuck did excellent job with all the predicaments and I appreciate their hard work. We will enjoy it for a long time to come.

I was not impressed with their responsiveness. They could have been more communicative. The work they were able to do was fine.

I have had numerous problems with this television. They have come out to service the equipment sever times, and it is still not working properly. It is ridiculous that they have not yet resolved this problem.

Service appointment was prompt and wiring was installed neat

Ever since we gotten this refrigerator we have had a loud alarm sound going off. This sound goes off during the day, as we sleep. We have had 4 people come out and look at it. Normally they would exchange products for something like this. They said they would contact Maytag, they have not. Since there is a contract and warranty on this refrigerator, they are not returning it, replacing it or fixing it. They said they would send another representative who would look at it. The last guy that they sent out sat in the floor on his phone and did nothing to fix my fridge. I would think after a while they would gather the information and have this fixed. We now have leak in the fridge and it’s not even hooked up to a water line.

Abt has a very good reputation for customer service and fair pricing. I've used them before to purchase a dishwasher. Everyone I dealt with on the phone was wonderful and helpful. My only gripe was with delivery in making this less than an overall "A" experience. It was delivered on a Saturday and they didn't get it positioned in the right way or ask me if I had questions. Also, the delivery team seemed a bit exasperated that my other refrigerator wasn't entirely emptied.

He looked under our sink and discovered that the tubing from the sink faucet sprayer (which you pull out to use) was catching on the knob for the water input into the dishwasher and after 5 years of use had finally managed to almost turn it off. The lack of water flowing into the dishwasher was what was keeping the dishwasher from working. Since it only took him a few minutes to discover the problem and he didn't have to do any work or even look inside the dishwasher, he only charged us $119 instead of the customary $179 just for walking into your house. The second man was virtually silent, but both were highly professional, and we were so grateful to be find out the problem was something so simple when someone else could have pretended it was something more serious and charged us more.

My 8 year old dryer's drive belt broke and I called ABT to come and fix it. They were able to get someone to me within a week, and a Saturday to boot. They call in the morning with a time frame that they will show up and arrived on time, if barely. The technician called earlier in the day to check the dryer model so that he could pick up some parts he might need before showing up. When he showed up the actual repair only took a few minutes, and the price was what was quoted. I would recommend ABT electronics for appliance repair and plan on using them if needed again in the future.

ABT said that its 10 years old and they cannot fix it because parts were not available? I ended up calling Thermador/Bosch and they said (surprise) yup, they had many of the parts needed. Further surprise, they gave me a place to get other parts. Complaining to ABT led them to identify in detail what they did, and they came back out eventually and fully fixed the unit - turns out no parts were needed.

Their services have gone well. I have used the company for repairs just once, but have been going to their store for a few years. I like everything about the company. Their office is about 30 minutes from me. They are well known and well respected in the area. They are always on time and professional. I have purchased a microwave, a new stove hood with motor, and a refrigerator from them. I plan on using them again in the future.

We return to ABT each time we need something electronic because they are honest, have great prices and have never disappointed us in their service. Back in 1996,. when we first moved into our home, we were going to have the family for the holidays. The week before Thanksgiving our TV died. I had already done some research since I knew it was on its last leg, called ABT and they confirmed they had the model I wanted in stock. I ran over, purchased the TV and then waited for it to come up from the warehouse. And I waited and waited. When I inquired as to why it was taking so long, they apologized and said that actually the model I wanted was NOT in stock, so to rectify their error, they upgraded my TV to one about $200 more expensive at no charge to me. That was the first of many, many purchases from ABT and I've told my friends and family to use them too. Their media room installation is stellar and we could not be happier. The dishwasher is amazing and the deal we got even surpassed what Consumer Reports said it should cost. I highly recommend this family owned business!

They were pretty good. Their professionalism and customer service stand out. They don't have the best prices but they do provide the best customer service.

They're great! They have good policies, decent prices, and they've been helpful to us. They're pretty responsive -- if you have an issue, they call you right back.

I have had previous good experiences with Abt. But the most recent experience was disappointing and left us with an unfinished installation. I purchased a window air conditioner. Abt offered to install it for another $149 if I recall the price correctly. I agreed. When the installer came, they came with plywood boards as a replacement for the expandable plastic that always comes with window units and usually tears after a few seasons. The problem is that the boards they used were just bare plywood boards, which, on the outside of a finished and painted window, look terrible. This is particularly true since the unit faces the front of my building. When we previously used a company that installed window units, including the unit we replaced, they used white boards that would match most painted window trim. I assumed Abt would have done the same. I was surprised the boards were completely unfinished. When I called, Abt refused to do anything, and that included a manager's decision as well. The person I spoke with actually said she didn't know whether windows on homes usually had painted trim on the outside "because she had never looked." Pretty shocking that this had never occurred to Abt before. And their refusal to address this hardly reflects their guarantee of customer satisfaction. I will have no trouble painting the inside of the boards myself, but I will have to hire someone to come out and paint the outside with a ladder -- two stories up -- or unscrew and remove the boards and also the heavy unit, paint the boards, let them dry, and then essentially reinstall the unit again at my own additional expense. Not an expense I was planning to have to pay having already paid for the installation of this window unit. I should have used the other installers that I used before who understand what is esthetically required when installing window a/c units.

The dishwasher we currently had was in our house when we purchased it in 1991. The only time the dishwasher was used by us was when our house inspector ran it prior to us buying our house. My wife insisted on washing all of our dishes by hand. A few months ago the bottom panel of the dishwasher just fell off. We duct taped it back on, but it was quite unsightly. My wife decided it made sense to buy a new dishwasher. We had for years purchased all of our major appliances through Sears. However we have become frustrated with Sears for two reasons (1) The item we wanted was never in stock, and (2) The repairman lack the knowledge to repair an item right the first time. We decided to go to Abt Electronics instead. We were very pleased with the overall experience. The salesman ( Ken Grubba) was available to us right from the beginning. It turns out the dishwasher was in stock and it was listed for less than what we saw the original prize was. Ken was quite helpful by showing us the feature of the unit. What is most important to us was that he was not a pushy salesman. We purchased the item on a Thursday and the delivery came the following Tuesday. The delivery man/installer was( Pat Mueller). Pat was able to remove the old dishwasher on his own,(it was made out of cast iron and load it on his truck himself. He was concerned that the new washer would not fit. With careful measuring and creative planning Pat made the dishwasher fit in the space like a glove. We now have an appliance store that we feel wee can trust for its products, quality, and professionalism.

Both the purchase and the installation went very smoothly. I have been a satisfied Trane customer for more than 26 years and a satisfied Abt Electronics customer for at least 15 years. When I recently learned that Abt was an authorized Trane dealer, I was fairly certain that I had found my contractor for my new Trane HVAC upgrade. Even so, I did seek 4 bids in total before deciding. The Abt sales agent clearly stood out above the rest and his proposal was also quite competitive. He was very knowledgeable, listened carefully to my needs, answered all my technical questions, and provided advice that struck me as sound and practical. He patiently supported my research on various options and answered multiple rounds of follow-up questions by email and phone. The installation crew was also top notch and I was delighted with the job they did. They were efficient, courteous, professional, and, as far as I can tell, quite competent in the work they performed.

After the repart tech fixed the door of the dishwasher, he hd trouble fitting the dishwasher back into the space under the counter, so he ordered an installation team to come out. This took two days and was a mild inconvenience but per the repair tech, the "installation teams are the experts" and he wanted it to be done right by them. 2 days later when the installation team came out, they determined that the floor model we have bought from them had some missing parts (feet) and the previous installation team had sort of rigged it and was likely why the door broke in the first place. Ultimately, the installation team ordered a brand new dishwasher to be deliver that day and 3-4 hours later we had a new dishwasher properly installed and the old one was removed. ABT very nicely corrected a wrong and besides some minor inconvenience, they hooked us up with a new dishwasher and it is working better than the previous one.

it went fantastic - great presales experience over the phone on a weekend night. very fast, great product, excellent service staff and installation. we love ABT and our new dishwasher.

Everything that you hear about ABT is true: the selection and prices for appliances are fantastic. We had a particularly bad experience with a salesman there, however, so beware: My wife and I were assisted by a sales rep and selected a suite of appliances for our new home. At check out, the 3 of us engaged in a fairly extensive discussion regarding the incremental 3-year warranty that purchasers can obtain from ABT (on top of the standard, 1-year warranty that is free). The salesman, who had been cooperative all day, was really hard-selling the warranty. After some discussion, I emphatically said "No." There could be no misunderstanding or misinterpretation. However, I reviewed the receipt the next day (the customer only gets the written receipt/confirmation of the transaction at the very end; as you're heading towards the door) I realized that I had been charged for the warranty: nearly $500. I called the store and the charge was reversed and they emailed me a revised receipt. I later called and spoke to a customer service manager and told him that I was not pleased with the customer service, and that I suspected that the inclusion of the warranty on my bill had not been an accident. I recommend that those of you that purchase from ABT closely review your receipts in the store.

From very beginning, Dave gave me the most competitive price among a few contractors. He managed to fit my installation at the last day to be eligible for Nicor/Comed rebate of 2013-2014 year. Jason and his team showed up on time and did excellent installation job on everything and left a very clean home behind. I am very satisfied with their service.

Made appointment to service two appliances. Was told would call early in the a.m. about window of service time. No call received. Called Abt three times over two hour window. Finally told my tech has late start in by 8:30 would hear shortly thereafter. No call came. Called for the third time at 9:45 only to be told that tech had car problems and would be starting route shortly and would call me. I cancelled service appointment. Will call other provider.
