Very professional crew, and the workmanship was superb. I have walked around the roof to inspect it and the work is done with precision and attention to detail. Very good people to work with in estimation and installation. The workers are very polite, communicate frequently as needed, and take steps to ensure no damage to property. The cost would have been much lower but I needed some structural repairs to correct a sagging roof line. Their cost compared very favorably with another bid (from a company that also does good work and was recommended by my neighbors for both cost and quality). I highly recommend this company and would say based on my experience others would have no concerns about quality of work.

The roofers showed up on time and completed the work in a day and one half. They were very professional and after the job was completed cleaned the area as promised.

This company is family owned and local which means I wanted to give them a try. I originally called for them to do an estimate for a new roof because many of the shingles are curling. They did the inspection, did say that a new roof was in the cards but there was not an immediate need. Even though the curling looked bad the roof material was still doing its job. I very muc appreciated the honesty. They did find one section that was a problem and suggested that I repair that immediately and I did - I had them do the work. I wasn't aware of the problem and again, I was happy for the honesty. When I have the roof replaced I will most likely have them do the work.

I contacted Spandikow and another Angie's List provider while I was out of town for bids on my 1970 home's chimney. We were in process of selling the home and its repair was a condition of the sale. Spandikow replied with speed and a reasonable, well- explained price. Both Steve and Mark were responsive to questions by email and phone. They were easy to schedule, prompt and convenient when it came to payment. I felt confident working with a nearby firm with 40 years of experience as a family business. Great job!

Very professional, great communication, punctual and cleaned up after. Our gutters were ancient when we purchased our home. They were full of holes and falling apart. We had a few estimates and we felt that Spandikow was super professional so we gave them the job. Our gutter system was a mess and my husband worked with Spandikow to come up with a system that made more sense for our situation. We had the work done Summer 2013 and I can say they gutters have held up to some really crazy rain and did what they were supposed to do. As stated, they were very professional and completed the job on schedule.

I got them from Angie’s List. They did a good job and their price was good. It was prompt and it didn’t take them very long. They cleaned up well after themselves. The roof looks good. I would recommend them. They were the cheapest and that wasn’t the only consideration. They just told me exactly what I needed and I appreciated that.

All work was completed to our satisfaction and the problems we had seem to have been corrected.

Went well - got done just before the bad winter weather set in. They were towards the higher end of the four estimates I had gotten, but did an excellent job. My only quibble is I have found a number of roofing nails in the gutters and along the edges of the house and garage just after the roof was finished. Hopefully roof performs well over time and has a long useful life. One of the reasons for picking them was that they have been around for a long time and will be around should anything go wrong with the roof down the road.

We are very familiar with this company as they have done very good work for our neighbors that has stood the test of time. It was a difficwisdom between them a and the roofer we ultimately chose.

I plan to use them for the repair. They gave me some different choices of things that I could do and I chose one of the options that they offered because I thought it was correct for the market. At this point everything is fine.

It was not good at first. They came out and did an estimate pretty fast, which no one else was talking to us at all. They sent their guys out and they patched it that the guys said that they won't patch it. They didn't do anything about that. My husband called them over the phone and didn't get any response for two or three days. They came back and fixed it all. Ultimately, it worked out and looked better. My husband told me to get them to do the side gutters along with the front ones, but I was not sure whether they did the work or not because I was in the back of my house doing something. By the time I was done, they had left. I need to wait till it rains to see if they did the work on the side gutters or not. They are a block away from one and they are the only company out of three who responded.

The whole project went very nicely. There was good communication with the Spandikows. They knew exactly what we wanted. They and their crews were very professional, courteous, efficient, and always left the premises without any debris or stray nails, as much as humanly possible. It was a 2 1/2 day project, but the skylight was a special order item and was installed about a week later. They are also from my local area and I prefer to do business in or near my town. I would recommend Spandikow and Son Roofing to any friend, relative or neighbor.

It didn't go. I refuse to use a company that doesn't return phone calls.

First, let me say that we were so impressed by the work done by this company, I've already recommended them to a friend! Spandikow gave us the best overall price; the crew arrived on time and got to work immediately (no slackers here!); tarps were laid; plants, deck, etc. protected; job was finished in record time; when they left, our property was so clean, the only evidence that they had been here was the new roof! They also installed an additional bathroom vent, and an attic ventilation fan (which we had purchased). We needed a few sheets of plywood replaced, which we had anticipated. When we arrived home from work the following Monday, lo and behold - the gutter faeries had been here and gone. Job was done exactly to our specifications (we had wanted a few changes). I'm so glad we used Angie's List to get our estimates. Even so, I was anticipating some sort of disaster... Never happened. Also, our house is so much quieter with the new roof - another surprise. Final invoice was exactly as quoted in proposal. We will definitely call them for an estimate when we are ready to get our siding done! My only suggestions: I assume this is a small family operation, but they could use some improvement re: communication with clients and/or prospective clients. There is sometimes a bit a lag time when waiting for a response. It seems e-mail is their preferred method of communication. A minor issue, completely unrelated to the quality of work that was done. We'd definitely recommend Spandikow & Son! :)

It went great! Right from the start, Steve Spandikow was responsive; he was out to our house within a couple days of contacting him. He inspected the house, took measurements, and had an estimate to us a couple days later. When we were confronted with a serious family illness, Steve gave us some time and honored his estimate even though it was several months after it expired. We found this understanding of our special situation very refreshing in a contractor! Once work started, work proceeded quickly & efficiently. Steve, Mark, Todd & Sean were all very easy to work with. They were responsive and patient with my (many!) questions. They listened to my requests, and responded promptly. It was not uncommon for Steve or Mark to respond to my emails after midnight of the day I sent them. The overall workmanship was first rate, but of special note is Spandikow?s attention to detail. Two examples: 1. When they replaced the downspouts, they didn?t just put them back, they looked at the roof & placed the new downspouts in locations that made more sense, improving the drainage of the roof. 2. When replacing the siding, they installed trim around the light fixtures, outlet, and spigot that greatly improved the overall appearance. Finally, they took the time to meticulously clean the yard at the end of each day. They did a nice job at a reasonable price. We still haven't figured out how to fix the satellite dish, but that is minor.

They came when scheduled. The roof on the house and attached garage was completed in one day. They cleaned up the debris very nicely. We contracted to also have them tear off and replace the shingles on our backyard toolshed, but the workmen did not know that was to be done. Once my husband let the foreman know,he said it would be taken care of. And it was. Someone came the next day and did the shed.

A good firm. Responsiveness was excellent. I would use them in the future for a large job or a small job.

The owner was friendly and responsive. He called me prior to starting the job... as soon as the weather permitted. I would use him again and recommend his company.

The service of Spandikow & Son Roofing was very good except for the fact that the guy did not call before he came over.

We moved into a new home and wanted the old antenna removed from the roof. It's a pretty straightforward task so we were very price sensitive. Spandikow beat competitors on price. They responded immediately and were able to complete the work when we weren't home. It went very smoothly. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Mark came out on a Sunday to give us an estimate. His crew arrived when he said they would, and they did such a good job cleaning up, I would have never known they were here except for the new roof. His estimate was neither the highest or the lowest, but we used him based on other reviews. He was sometimes hard to get in touch with, but he didn't badger us for a decision like a few of the other contractors who estimated the job. We'd use him again.

Estimate was comprehensive. It took longer to get treated shingles than expected. Work was done efficiently and clean-up each day was good. Overall workmanship was excellent.
