Description of Work: We've used Handy man Connection several times for various repairs around the house: siding, garage ceiling, electrical and they've always been good quality repairs at a fair price. I would use them again and recommend them.

Description of Work: This is not a reliable service. After scheduling the appointment with someone outside the U.S., I was told I would receive a call the day before the appointment. When that didn't happen, I called the service, was quickly connected to the handyman but told he couldn't come out for the job until the next week... not sure why I had the appointment scheduled...

Description of Work: Perhaps it was my fault, but I didn't notice that it said "Northwest Suburbs" so I was outside of their area. They were very nice about it, but I can't use the coupon. They suggested I contact a Handyman Connection in my area, which I may do.

Description of Work: I was very fortunate to deal with the people at Handyman Connection, I even spoke with the owner. I had a door and trim that I needed maintained because of weather wear and I found them to be very responsive. On the their initial visit they actually did a small temporary seal on the door to prevent any further weather wear and then later finished the rest. Since my experience was so pleasant I have since referred them to several of my clients and friends alike, and all of them have been satisfied as well. Their service is invaluable and I actually look forward to working with their team again.

Description of Work: I had several jobs after I bought this deal. However, the provider only works during normal office hours. It's impossible for me to use their service. Besides, if it takes them more than 2 hours to finish the work, it'll take $75 per hour. That's very expensive for a handyman. Their representative on the phone was very nice though, so I give them a C rating. Otherwise, it's a D or F.

Description of Work: Hired to assemble 4 bar stools & a book case.Problem arose w/bookcase did not have crucial parts [12] to finish.John then assembled and hung a ceiling fan, as well as the stools.John went slightly over his allotted time but was determined to finish with no additional charge...and he did [with a smile].

Description of Work: they sent Mark to my place. He is really a nice guy. He inspected my house and provided helpful suggestion. I also asked him to fix some electrical stuff and some door and some other stuff. Overall I give positive to his service.

Description of Work: Vince Malik installed a new faucet in my kitchen sink. The hole in the sink was slightly smaller than the new faucet; the "standard" size had obviously changed. With persistence and great effort, Vince enlarged the hole to accept the new faucet, no small feat on a stainless steel sink. I was very pleased. Anne Brennan
