Everything went well.

Very positive experience. Easy to schedule, received texts to let me know service person is on way. Delando was professional, and not only serviced the furnace well, he also checked and tightened the gas line when I mentioned smelling some gas previously. after completion, he gave me a summary of the work, that all looked good, especially for a 15 year old equipment. Will definitely look into their offerings for seasonal cleaning plans.

Update 11/26/2019: **G&R agreed to come in April to correct the placement of the A-Coil (which was pulled down) and verify proper A/C operation. However, there has been no reimbursement.** We selected G&R Heating as Angie's List showed it as well rated and service technician was to arrive Thursday morning, so we could take care of our other activities later in the day. the first technician arrived on time, turned off the unit, replaced the limit switch then said the board was bad, which another technician will arrive with it by 2:00 pm. after several calls over the following hours to your office, the technician finally returned our call and said he'll come over the next day. the system was OFF, we had NO HEAT. Technician arrived after 6:00 pm, replaced board, but could not get it to function, said it was a bad thermostat wire then left. I called the office and he returned, getting the thermostat wiring done and heat restored. Another technician was scheduled to arrive early next morning to move the thermostat back to the wall. After the unit was running for over an hour and noticed it cold air from the vents, I checked why and noticed the plenum cold and the line from the A/C condenser was covered with ice. Called your office again and was told to turn off the unit and A/C at the breaker panel, which I did. next morning, a third technician came over, fixed the thermostat wiring (A/C was wired to power), then said the Limit switch kept tripping, the board should not have been replaced, as the heat exchanged was failing (without actually checking it). He said the entire heating unit must be replaced, and quoted a price around $4200, indicating this was average price for what others charge. After some discussion, he included an $800 credit for the switch and board, but charged $200 for plenum work ( yet the final charge was $4830). My out of pocket cost for this "service" is $5,295, not counting the impact of the delays and multiple escalation calls to your office. I have sent an email to G&R requesting A/C fix and re-imbursements.

G & R came out the same day I called, said I was low on coolant, and that I probably had a small leak. Filled it up with 3 lbs of coolant, with a sealant to repair the leak. One week later, the air conditioner unit was running, but the temp inside the house was 86 degrees. I had frost on the outside of the pipe attached to the unit. Googled it and they said to turn it off and put the fan on. I called G & R back, they came out the next morning. Told me that the compressor was bad, that it needed 6 more lbs. of coolant. I said I needed to think about it - it was way too much money. they wanted to charge me again for coming out $95.00 - I refused and they did end up waiving it. Anyway, I called Shamrock H & A and they fixed the problem - the blower needed a capacitor, which fixed the problem. I wrote to G & R and told them of my experience, I would not use them again.

Service person showed up on time and got to work right away. He found the capacitor might not be working and replaced it. System fired up right away and was blowing hot air. Took about 20 minutes of work.

The service tech. was thorough and efficient. We appreciated that he verbally explained what was done and also left us with an even more complete printout of the condition and operation of our furnace and humidifier. The Angie's list clean and check certificate of $49.00 was part of the total cost. This is the first time we used G & R Heating and Air. We plan to call them again when needed.

Service was professional and work order was thorough with regard to everything that was checked and/or cleaned. Price was very reasonable as compared to prior years with other providers.

It went fine. So the air conditioning guy paid another eighty dollars he said there is some gas or something for the tune up is required for that I paid another eighty dollars on top of whatever I first ordered for. I think a little break up would have been much better because I was not excepting an additional changes required, if it's required I'm ready to pay I'm not saying that if you had known that upfront that would have been much better.

G&R did the cleanup work and later asked me to refill Freon. After they left next morning A/c stopped working, they came back and said compressor is busted. Its was a peak summer Thursday with 95+ degrees outside. Guess what, they didn't agree to replace it until next Monday. Fortunately I found another local HVAC company to replace my air conditioner which costed me $3500. Anyways, I picked G&R due to its good ratings in Angies list, but they left with a stale impression. I will not recommend them for your maintenance & repair needs.

The G & R HVAC technician arrived on time. They worked with us to find a time mutually agreeable. The work was done efficiently. Also the tech noticed that a capasitor tested out of range but was not pushy about us getting this changed at this time, since the unit was still working. We opted to have it replaced now to avoid an expensive service call in the future. He also explained other services that G & R offers for the future, but again was not pushy/annoying. We would use this organization again.

As per their usual performance, G & R is timely, efficient and worry free for me. I can trust them is the bottom. We have them do bi-annual check ups and sometimes it is fairly uneventful which is the way we like it, however we are dealing with moving parts and they are bound to break at times. Yet when issues are brought to my attention, they do it professionally and timely which is extremely important to us because we are operating a child care facility. Even if they have to come in after hours because of our "little" clientele, that's never been a problem for them. I would highly recommend them.

It went great, they replaced our old a/c with a brand new high efficiency air conditioner. This company was very prompt in their service. Quality was great. We love our new air conditioner. We were very pleased with G & R 's courtesy and customer service. Will do business again.

We had an addition built in our house and hired G & R to take care of getting heat to the new room. They came out promptly and did a great job. After they were done, we called them back out because our carpenter need them to move a pipe. They came back out and moved the pipe right away. They did not charge us any extra to come back out and move the heat, but said that they just wanted to make sure that we were completely satisfied. We will definitely use them again.

The installers were very knowledgeable and courteous, and the price was very reasonable as well. The furnace works great and the efficiency is already saving us on our energy bill. Very pleased, will use again in the future. They have great customer service and are very kind and courteous.

The appointment scheduler was friendly and accommodating. The service provider arrived on time, was friendly and very knowledgeable. This was a clean and check of a furnace in an existing home which I had just purchased. The service provider went out of his way to explain the nuances of the system. Overall excellent service and I would use this company again and again!
