Dwayne from G & R Heating & Air did a very thorough job checking our AC system. He verified everything was in good working order. Dwayne was professional, courteous and friendly. I ended up purchasing the service contract.

Dishonest company, go with anyone else. I went with someone else who fixed all my issues for less than 1/3rd the cost of these scam artists. 1. They overcharged, 500+ dollars for a 10 dollar transformer and 20 minutes labor. 2. They didnt give me a quote before doing this overpriced repair, and forged my signature on the electronic consent forms. 3. The repair did not last for longer than 5 minutes. They wanted another several hundred dollars to replace another part. 4. They ghosted me when I tried getting customer service help. I still had a non working system, after paying over 500 dollars for labor and for a transformer to be replaced ( replaced with possibly either an old and used transformer or not replaced at all). I was never given a price or information on the work that was done by the first tech prior to him completing the work, after I told him explicity that I needed to know the repair cost before anything was done because Im a renter and my landlord would need to approve any repairs. The tech didnt do any testing of the system after it turned on, and it stopped working minutes after he left, when I switched the system from heat to AC, which is what caused the system to stop working initially. I told him that is what caused the HVAC to stop working and asked if that could be a cause, he said no. Turns out, that was false. I have lost all trust in your company, despite your motto "Bringing Honesty and Integrity to HVAC", and don't feel comfortable with any work your company would do going forward.

They did everything they said they were going to do in the time frame they said they could do it. I do not think you could ask for more

Had them come out for some preventive maintenance done on my central air. Rob did a great job. He was friendly and explained everything he was doing. I liked them so much I joined their membership club so I can have my furnace cared for too.

Knowledgeable and professional air conditioning service

Used this company back in December with help of my home warranty UHP. G&R only addressed one concern. Part of the problem was the blower motor would not stay on when selected. This was mentioned to tech. Tech stated that sounded like a thermostat issue however, he neglected to check it out. I later found a broken wire in the thermostat. Fixed it myself. Then my copay was supposed to be $75. G&R charged me and extra $155. This was an amount they needed to get from UHP per contract with that company. I had to call G&R and the problem was eventually fixed. On 4/15/23 I was billed $165 from G&R for no reason. I did not request service. G&R stated that the info was sent to them from UHP. That was not the case. UHP does not authorize work without the client calling them or on-line so UHP can verify coverage. I additionally spoke with UHP and they said they do not operate as stated by G&R. G&R later said that my info was attached to the account of the client they serviced. Why? How does this happen? I had to acquire a new credit card. G&R has problems in my opinion keeping records or something else is going on here. Never again with G&R.

Very well. A tech arrived within a few hours of my call. Very friendly gentleman. Found the problem quickly and made the repair just as fast.

Very friendly and knowledgeable technician that assessed overall system and provided meaningful assessment of the state of the system in my 100 year old house. Very good technician for a house with boilers.

It went great, tech was even able to save my thermostat as some pins were bent.

Didn’t have a cost effective fix. Tried to sell all new equipment for over fair market price

Technician tried his best to upsell me. Told me I needed to spend over $300 on a new thermostat when my current one was just out of batteries. The experience was straight up uncomfortable and I had to chase down the company for a response to my formal complaint. Wouldn't risk it again.

Service technicians were very good. They completed all the work and explained the operational functions of the new system. They cleaned up after themselves as well

I have purchased a yearly heating and cooling maintenance plan from this company for a few years now. The technician that came out today for my air conditioner was on time, pleasant and obviously knew what he was doing. I purchased another plan today.

HVAC machine outside wasn’t working. Ricardo 🤗 was so good at explaining & suggesting his expert ideas. There was a mouse & nest inside the machine & wires were severed. He removed the critter & nest & repaired the wires. All is working again. What a great guy he is!!

great. tech came quickly, provided inspection plus free cleaning, and returned asap when problem was not resolved. ultimately, G&R replaced the needed part for half the cost quoted by my prior heating service.

The big problem was the cost. Our understanding was that the price was $466 out the door (which we thought was exorbitant but decided that the guy was already there) and then they added a $95 service charge to that. I understand that we are paying for expertise and Rob was fine. HOWEVER, the visit lasted between 30 and 40 minutes, Rob was unable (or unwilling) to tell us the price of the solenoid which also was not listed on the invoice. We found the part sells for under $50 dollars. So that means that we spent OVER $450 for a 1/2 hour repair visit to replace a solenoid. They did refund the $95 dollars after 2 phone calls. Final bill was $466.

Repaired at a reasonable. On time. Excellent!

Suggested plan forward for next spring when weather permits.

Technician showed up 2 hours after the 2 hour appointment window I was provided. They are very expensive! About $800 for an hour of work plus $100 for the diagnosis. The part was under warranty.
