Hogan Design & Construction

My wife and I had the great pleasure of working with the Hogan Design & Construction team on several remodeling projects in our Geneva home. Awesome customer service, attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. We continue to get numerous compliments on the amazing first-floor in-law suite with full bath, etc, a sizeable project completed by Hogan Design & Construction on time and on budget. If you're considering a home remodeling project, we highly recommend calling Brian or Brad.

We hired Hogan Design & Construction to renovate a bathroom, update two bedrooms, and perform other work in surrounding areas. We believed the job would be straight forward, since no structural work was involved. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but straightforward. Due to a lack of management and supervision, tradespeople and subcontractors would arrive with little or no direction about the work to be performed, or the materials to be used on a given day. Even though we spent the time and money to have drawings made in advance of the project, time and time again the drawings were either ignored, or used only as a suggestion. The project took far longer than originally told to us. Once we began to identify problems, Hogan told us they would fix mistakes at the end, but did not want to take steps that would prevent mistakes in the first place. The quality of workmanship in some areas was far below what we considered to be acceptable. We don’t understand why anyone who has pride in their workmanship would perform at such a low standard, and believe it would be acceptable to the homeowner. At the end, we were so tired of pointing out mistakes, and begging for them to be corrected, that we found it easier to hire another contractor to do the final corrections and finishes. My best advice to anyone considering using Hogan, is BUYER BEWARE!

Large scale condominium remodeling project and the Hogan team was excellent to deal with. Brad and Brian Hogan quoted the job and helped me design my space. They delivered the project within my budget and were very patient and walked me through the design process . Once we signed up, they assigned Jason Bonomini as project manager. Jason was easy to work with and kept job running smoothly and communicated everything effectively. Jason and their employees were extremely professional, kept my house as clean as possible and were courteous at all times. Plus they worked well with my neighbors and condo management team which can be difficult. They kept to a tight time line and transformed an old, dated, dark and dingy space into something new, bright, more functional and beautiful space. I can't believe it is even the same condo! Hogan Design offered great design ideas based on their vast experience on other projects and helped me avoid many potential problems. I would highly recommend Hogan Design & Construction and will use them again in the future. A+++

Actually, I thought that I had reviewed them when they did the job. It went Great and they did a very professional job. Completed the job as scheduled. Brian, Brad and Johnny were very friendly, as was all of the various workers they had on the job. They were quick to respond to any questions or concerns I might have had.

Great! They are wonderful! They kept within their budget. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I would use them again.

Both bathrooms turned out Great and looked just as I had envisioned them. They did a good job of coordinating all aspects of the jobs. Started and finished when they said they would. There were a couple of things after that wasn't exactly the way I felt they should be, and they immediately got them taken care of. Overall, it was a very good experience.
