Description of Work: We had our septic system pumped. We have a second tank that I thought would need pumped as well and would have cost an additional $160 but was told by the technician that it did not need it. I liked the honesty. They found some roots in our septic line and removed a clump but said they had other people in the company that would come out and take a better look and recommend if we needed further service but no one has come out yet.

Description of Work: I had them pump out my septic tank and replace a broken hatch cover. Everyone was very professional. They called the night before to make sure we were ready for them and then an hour before they showed up. This was our first time using Ron's Tidy Tank but we will use them in the future.

 + -1 moreI have a problem in my sink line that was diagnosed by the plumber as being either in the line itself or possible in the septic system. His recommendation was to check the septic system first and make sure it was operating properly. Accordingly, I had the tank pumped and inspected for problems. Some roots in the tank but no apparent problems with the sewer lines themselves. I have called back the plumber to rod the sink line to the main sewer line of any obstructions.
Description of Work: Pumped out my 500 gallon tank and inspected for problems - none found.

 + -1 moreI've been using Ron's for a few years and have generally been satisfied (my primary tank is in a bed and has a riser). This is the first time I've had my second tank (without a riser) cleaned. They had to remove the sod and dig about two feet down to access the tank. They did not attempt to keep the surrounding area clean by using a tarp to throw all the dirt and gravel on. When they replaced the dirt into the hole they did not tamp it at all and just threw the sod pieces on top leaving it raised about 8" above the surrounding surface. Again, they made no attempt to tamp it. In my opinion, this is sloppiness. Like any other service, they should attempt to leave the area as near to the way they found it as possible. When I expressed my dissatisfaction he simply said that there was nothing they could do. I will not be using them again.
