RON'S TIDY TANK SEPTIC SERVICE

In order to pump out our septic tank, about 25 hostas had to be dug up and removed. I gave permission assuming that like in the past pumpings, the hostas would be dug up, put to the side and then replanted when the hole was filled back in. Instead, my 20 year old hostas were chopped up in little pieces and mixed up in the dirt and put in the hole. I was offered a 30.00 "credit" on my next job for compensation.

Crew came out as scheduled with a call 30 minutes before that they were on their way. They found a cracked cement cover which they replaced for $30 and were done with the service in about 40 minutes. I used them about 4 years ago and continue to be happy with their service and cost.

while following up on a service call the office manager got very agitated and hung up on us. Then sent us an email saying if we ever questioned their service again she would press harassment charges. We only called that one time? Ron's Tidy Tank then skipped over our pre paid and previously scheduled regular maintenance and pump. Almost 2 months later we had to follow up for the remainder of the prepaid service contract. In Valarie's mind asking them to refund the part of the service contract she broke might constitute harassment? I work with tradesman and service contracts all the time and this one really knows how to make an impression.

I have been a long time customer of Ron’s Tidy Tank. They serviced my septic system less than a year ago. I am an 81 year old women who lives alone. My toilets and drains began to over flow with feces and sewage. I called Ron’s, the company that has serviced me for years to help me in my most desperate hour. They were closing for the night and would not help me, nor would she schedule me for the following day. I desperately asked her to give me the name and number of someone who could do emergency calls. She mumbled a name got very upset and hung up on me. After reading other reviews on Angie’s list, I see that they have also hung up on other customers as well. Do not use at any cost.

New owner never had a septic system before so knew nothing about them. I did know though that something was not right with it. it was coming up into yard. After they found another tank that we did not know existed they began to empty the tanks .Also told me that the pump was probably out.Withing hours of my initial call I had the first crew out to clean the tanks and after finding the main problem the second crew was right there to replace the pump. #life savers

Avoid if you want good service, as they are the worst I’ve ever experienced. Their service team couldn’t clear a main line, dug an unnecessary hole in my yard, and ultimately charged over $200 for getting nothing completed. Jim, the supposed owner, even hung up on me during a follow up call. I wasn’t cursing or being irate, simply trying to find a solution or get a refund. To contrast that, T & T Weidners’ also had trouble clearing and tried from inside and out (without the digging). The difference: they didn’t charge me, and walked me through the proper solution, albeit more expensive.

They were honest about the service that needed to be performed. Prices are reasonable.

Ron’s Tidy Tank arrived on time, and the pumping was complete without any problems.

Second time I've used them. Will definitely be using again.

Done prompting and professionally on date and time scheduled. Answered questions on schedule needed for our size of family. Let us know that all seems good with our system. Bacteria active and thriving. In fact, said our system was the best seen.

It was fine. They came when they said they were going to come. They did their business. The only thing I was unhappy about is that they did not quite replace the grass around the opening correctly and it died. We also had a hot couple of weeks so its not the end of the world. That is the only negative about the whole experience. They quoted me a reasonable price and I paid. Everything was fine.

It went well. An appropriate size truck was brought. They system was pumped out and inspected. Suggestions were made for routine follow-up, and the dirt removed was replaced. Everything was done in a timely manner and our questions were answered along the way.

Great---job was done quickly and price was reasonable.

Fine - got a report on necessary frequency of service; all went as planned.

No problems .... they were on time, fairly communicative and cleaned up after themselves.

I have signed up for a annual service plan each year for the past 10 years, and Ron's Tidy Tank has performed numerous services to my septic tank and multi-flo system during this time, resulting in aggregate fees paid to Ron's Tidy tank of $5,975. On 8/16/16, they came out to my house to perform a routine check-up as outlined in the annual service agreement (2x per year), and the service man backed the van into my basketball hoop/net alongside my driveway. The service man did not acknowledge this prior to his departure. Once I noted what had occurred, as my wife noted the van parked directly under the basketball net, I called the owner of Ron's Tidy Tank and informed him of what had occurred. He informed me he would look into it and call me back. he then had the service man call me back, and he indicated he was sorry and would stop by and fix the basketball net. I indicated to the service man that I would prefer he not fix it (i.e., cheaply by hammering some wood alongside the basketball pole), as he most likely does not have the equipment to fix concrete that has been uplifted from the ground. I found it interesting the owner had the service man call me back and suggested he fix the basketball net. The owner then called me and told me he was cancelling my service contact and did not want to do business with me any longer. I informed him that I was a long standing customer that had spent a couple of thousand dollars with him over the years and was surprised this is how he treats "good" customers. He told me there was no way I spent that amount of money with his company and told me to go back and look at my check book. I did go back and look at all of the payments, and they added up to $5,975 (so I clearly was conservative when I indicated a couple of thousands $, it was much more). He then proceeded to hang up on me after telling me he did not want to do business with me any longer. Needless to say, this is very disappointing and suspect should anything go wrong on a project, this Company WILL NOT stand behind their work or actions, and the proof is how they treat long standing customers once they damage a customer's property. I highly recommend not to use this company as they are not professional and boarder line unethical.

Very well, on time, neat job, explained the size and state of the system. Very satisfied.

I called and made an appt for the following day. Brad and helper came out a bit early but I did get a call they were coming out earlier than the agreed time, which was good as I was out running errands. They found the access panels and were careful to dug out the grass in one piece in order to replace at the end of of the job. They did exactly as promised and in a short time. Brad also checked the baffles and found them in good order. All in all I was satisfied and price was acceptable.

The filter was broken and the serviceman commented that he was not sure why the filter had been installed since the housing was broken and the element was missing. This filter caused my septic tank to fill up and overflow. Ron's had serviced the system less than less than three months ago and they charged me $25 to clean this broken filter. When they gave me a bill for a $75.00, I questioned why I should pay to take out a filter that was broken and should not have been reinstalled . The owner insisted that I owed the money for his two technicians that fixed my overflowing tank problem (caused be his servicemen reinstalling the filter two plus months earlier)

Ron's came out to pump our Whitewater aerated septic system on a house we bought through a foreclosure sale. We were clueless about septic systems and the lady who answered our call was able to help us figure out exactly what sort of system we had and what needed to be done. Ron's even had a previous record of service at our location, but it had been 9 years! Needless to say the septic system was COMPLETELY full up through the left station. The technicians pumped out the tank, the whitewater system, and the lift station and made sure it was clean and working properly. The call was completed quickly and without any problem whatsoever. I would definitely recommend their services and will use them again to maintain our septic system.

It went great. On time, professional. Everything I would expect.

They were on time and got the job done. It has been a few years since we had the tank cleared and was offered up some "solid" advice for the future. Making a note to use them again in two years. Much easier to have the tank pumped then the system replaced.

This was pretty much of an emergency. i called the office at 7:30 am. Before noon, a team was out here. They couldn't get a backhoe so they had to dig down about 5' by hand. They worked constantly for about 4-5 hours and got one of the tanks pumped. They will be coming back with heavy equipment in a few weeks to complete the repair.Before they left they put posts and caution tape around the excavation so that no one accidentally falls in.

They pumped the septic tank. They actually did the repair of the drain line. They did septic tank cleaning and septic tank line repair. They are great and very accommodating. They went above and beyond to find someone to help us.
