RON'S TIDY TANK SEPTIC SERVICE

They found them, they dug them, they pumped them...

Very prompt, went to the house, cleaned the septic tank and called saying I would need to get a plumber to route out the blockage. I immediately made an appointment with a plumber - 36 hours later and when the plumber got there they said the tank was full, they were highly skeptical that the tank had been emptied 26 hours before. I called to report the issue, and they said they were sorry, but there wasn't anything they could do. As a result, I will now hire a different septic company to come out and empty the tank again so that the plumber can clear the blockage. Not what I expected from someone so highly rated on Angies List. It was in fact Ron's. I sent them to take care of a rental property in Lake Forest as is indicated in the comment that was submitted.

Ron did a really good job, and I was pleased with his service.

These guys were great. Called on Monday and they were at my house on Tuesday. I had no idea where the access to the tank was. They helped find the tank and dig out the access. They were on time and under estimate. Before he left, He cleaned everything up and filled in the holes. Couldn't have asked for any better.

LEft message Sat morning on Emergency number and it took a couple hours to respond. Once I established contact everything went great. Toilet on main floor was overflowing like Old Faithful. We thought it was either a crushed pipe going into the tank or a full tank. They said they couldn't come until Monday since they couldn't dispose of the waste properly. That is understandable and, frankly, appreciated even though I spent the weekend Shop Vacuuming my basement. Tech arrived on time and stated the tanks looked to be in good shape. He suspected the line was clogged and proceeded to dig down to the line. He cleared the clog and the problem was solved. Because we just moved in, we didn't know the last time the tanks were cleaned so he also cleaned out both tanks and gave us some maintenance tips since we are new to septic tanks. Would definitely use them again and would recommend with confidence.

When we found the overflow this morning, we did not know who to call since we are new to Barrington. We used Angie's List to find Ron's Tidy Tank and they were exceptional. Since this was am emergency, we did not have an appointment. Despite a busy day, they worked us into the schedule within 90 minutes. The technician was friendly and helpful. From start to finish it took two hours to resolve our issue - I would recommend Ron's to anyone needing septic service in this area.

The guys from Ron's came within a week of my request. They called to let me know they were on the way and showed up within the stated time. The lady I spoke with over the phone and the man who came to do the job were both very friendly and courteous. I had several questions about our septic system as we have never had one before and we are new to this home. The gentleman answered all of my questions thoroughly and the tanks were pumped pretty quickly. Best of all, we no longer smell sewer gas when we are in the back yard. :) :) They were recommended to me through neighbors and I would recommend them to others as well.

The service was very satisfactory, they did a clean and neat job. We are going to use them again shortly for another service on our septic tank.

I've been happy with them. They were able to refer. The first time I called them was an emergency situation. Septic water had backed up into our basement. Very accomadting.

Excellent. They came on the weekend. They moved us up on the schedule because we had a septic emergency and because of predicted storms.

I don’t remember the amount I spent. The work turned out to be fine. They were punctual and got the work done quickly for me. They were fine. They just didn’t have one thing that we were looking for and that’s why we went with someone else. I would use their services again in the future if they do have whatever we are looking for.

We had to reschedule once due to winter weather, but when they came out, they did a good job and the service man that was on the job was very informative and friendly. Will use again.

Ron's Tidy Tank was wonderful. We had a pipe blockage that caused our toilet to backup. They were very responsive. They figured out the problem and how to fix it very quickly - and they didn't try to get us to go with the most expensive option. Shawn was awesome - he and his team were very clean and ensured that they put everything back the way they found it before leaving. I would recommend Ron's to anyone who has a septic problem or just needs the normal pumping.

This was my first experience with septic tank pumping. The company offered stellar service from my very first phone call through completion of the job. They were friendly, punctual, professional, and educated me as to the workings of my septic system. I'd highly recommend them to anyone with a septic system.

We had a leak in the sewage pipe leading to the tank. "Black water" in the basement - while we used a plumber to "route" the pipe and remove the clog, we had Tidy Tank come out with their scope camera to insure the pipe was clear prior to having the basement professionally cleaned and sanitized. Tidy was prompt, did exactly what we asked and advised on prevention of same issue in the future.

The line had broken during a bout of warm weather in winter; many firms were very busy. Ron's staff was very responsive and detail oriented. They came out within 2 days to provide an estimate. After selecting them, they were able to work on the job in 2 additonal days and completed the work in one day.

First they checked the condition of my septic tank and determined that the flow of wastewater from the house was not impeded into tank. They gave me good news that I could go another 2 to 3 years without needing the tank to be pumped. They determined the location of the clog in pipe that was causing my basement utility sink to back up by observing drainage from other basement drain fixtures, observing path of pipes, and applying deductive reasoning. This saved me money over performing video inspection. They used an innovative approach to rodding the difficult-to-access section of vertical pipe which was clogged. Instead of the time and expense of cutting and removing sections of galvanized steel pipe (which would then require additional expense to repair), they took their equipment to the roof and rodded the pipe by access through the roof vent. The mission was accomplished in very little time using this approach. This saved me a huge expense, not only for the project itself, but lost pay from my job as I was off the clock to stay home when they made the service call. I was very pleased with the outcome!

Ron's Tidy Tank Service showed up on schedule and did a thorough job of pumping out my tanks. I was present and checked the job after completion. Tanks had been pumped down to the bottom concrete floors of the tanks. I am pleased with the work, and I thought the price was reasonable. Their tanker truck had more than sufficient capacity for complete pumpouts.

Both Craig and his assistant were very knowledgeable answering all of our questions about our current tank and field, taking time to explain both what they were doing and the best ways to maintain our septic system both now and in the future. We're extremely satisfied and will see them for our next pumping!

Out septic field failed and we needed immediate service. Ron's was able to come by the same day. They appeared in the afternoon, pumped out the vaults and covered them back up.

On Wednesday, 4/14/10, I received a call from Ron's Tidy Tank "Office Manager". She claimed that none of their other customers requested a Cert. of Insurance for their work. I said I'm sorry, but I need one. The Office Manager stated that Ron's would require an additional $50.00 to send me a Certificate of Insurance. At that point I realized that Ron's wasn't carrying any insurance and I declined to do any business with them. You can easily verify this: Call your own insurance company or agent. Ask them about a Certificate of Insurance. It's a 1 page sheet of paper stating that the named company has certain types of insurance and when that insurance expires. Its the easiest way a consumer knows if the company he or she is dealing with has insurance. NO legitimate insurance agent, broker or company charges anything for a simple 1 page Certificate of Insurance.
