Kevin and his crew were great. The city inspectors proved a challenge at times but the just weathered through it and got the job done. We love the new deck and very pleased with the outcome.

Kevin and his team (Anthony & Kyle) did a great job! I had a variety of things I wanted done after moving to a new home, and he tackled my entire list. They worked efficiently and neatly, accomplishing all this in a shorter time than I anticipated. Kevin did a walk through when all was completed to be sure I was satisfied with the work. Kevin and his assistant arrived as scheduled. The were very professional and friendly. The job was finished in a timely manner, and the final cost actually came in lower than the estimate. The shutters look well aligned, but I guess the final measurement of work quality will be after a couple of storms come through. But have confidence they did a solid job.

Everything was done to my satisfaction. Work was done quickly and thoroughly. Cost was very reasonable. Would definitely hire this company again as well as refer to all my friends and family. It's not easy to find a good handyman to fix little (or not so little) things around the house that you can't or don't want to do yourself. If you need handyman services, give this company a call. They were AMAZING! Extremely professional and knowledgeable. The arrived on time and work for several hours. They took the time for each project and did not race through the job. They were very clean and when finished everything was spotless. Very organized and efficient. I would highly recommend them. They are a 10+ in my book! I definitely plan to hire them again. Kevin's crew began the project by re-glueing several tiles that were very loose. Then they came back the next day to install new grout. They actually asked what color I wanted (unusual, as someone else put non-matching grout on only a portion of the tiles). Another person in a prior attempt to fix this shower used non-waterproof grout. I'm lucky this was redone before any damage was done. Kevin made sure I wanted white grout. They did an exceptional job. This shower never looked this good, even after it was first installed. They cleaned the tiles and flooring before leaving and made sure I was happy with their work. Kyle asked for matching wall paint to fix a section that looked terrible where it met the tiles. Kevin's crew made sure to accommodate my quirky schedule. They were considerate of my little dog. They are professional and pleasant. They do absolutely incredible work. The best part is that Kevin hires veterans for his company, thereby benefitting them and those of us who hire them. Kevin is meticulous about that he does and how he is going to do it. He discusses what he will do before the job, so you aren't ever in the dark about what is going on. I highly recommend The Handy Veteran.

Real well. I wanted 2-3 quotes, and Handy Veteran was the only one that came thru for my problems. I have 20 ft ceilings and I feel the other 2 firms that quoted didn’t want to deal with that. I feel my issue was solved for on time and on budget. I will use them again in the future no doubt about it.

Excellently! Kevin arrived with supplies to repair a drawer that we talked about on the phone. He also repaired two additional drawers. We had a thorough discussion about further repairs to my home. He explains things in detail and is careful in his work. We appreciate his professional approach and his genial personality. His pricing is fair. He accommodated my schedule as well - very much appreciated. I will hire him again and highly recommend him. I did not try to repair these things before because it seemed like such a hassle, but Kevin assured me in our first conversation that these things could be repaired. The Handy Veteran(s) did an amazing job with our bathroom. We have an older home for which exhaust fans at Menards/ Home Depot just don’t fit right. These men were able to patch up the existing hole in our ceiling to make a modern exhaust fan fit perfectly. They also installed a ceiling light in our shower, all at a very reasonable price. One of our doors was letting in a draft on the bottom and they fixed that for us free of cost without request. They were very respectful of our home and kept good rapport with us every step of the way. They were also able to work with us and our schedules, including coming in during a foot-of-snow storm. If you need any handy work done in your home, we highly recommend The Handy Veteran.

We had some water damage in the basement and had done the mitigation with another company. Called Handy Veteran to finish up putting the basement back together. They were available sooner and cheaper than the other company. They did a fantastic job and were very professional! Definitely keeping their contact information for future handyman type services!
