+ 0 moreIt went well, He arrived with the boards after picking them up. Set up his equipment and went to work. Boards were at an angle and some spots were hard to get at. Kevin also replaced 3 step areas leading onto the deck and a 4th area that was in front of our kitchen slider. He did a professional job. My only comment is he used "green" outdoor decking and I believe I wrote on the returned estimate that regular wood was fine to use. In any event, we got more than we were expecting and were pleased with the finished job. Kevin has also done work at a home I rent out. He suggested a way to do it faster and cheaper. I was pleased with that job as well.

Despite a few minor hiccups in the project (which he discussed with us and handled well) we are very satisfied with the outcome. Oh the clothes line is not even installed he wants to bill me for another 2 hours to put it in the ground. He failed to call Julie ahead of time b4 digging. organization on his job was not evident.
Description of Work: Kevin came out to do a multiple of things. asked to have a clothes line installed. He quoted $160.00 He asked what type of clothesline I wanted I told him it would require 3 4x4 posts that could be used on a deck. He said are you going to buy supplies or am I? I told him I could. He came unprepared to work on cleaning down spots. He forgot his 12 ft ladder. So instead of working on downspouts he oukd start on clothes line. I had not bought supplies wanted to show him what I was talking about firs see if he could do it. He agreed and had to go buy the supplies because he was unable to work on down spouts. He charged me 388.40. His invoices billed me for (2)8 hour days and he worked two days at a total of 8 hours. I bought a ceiling fan he said he could wrap it with light fixture (verbal) $60.00 when I rcvd the invc I was billed for $60.00 2X. I contacted him and asked him why I was billed for 2 fan installation he said your not I billing you for 2 hours of work. It took him no more than 30 mins. These are just a couple of examples of his padding his invoice

On time, very professional, very knowledgeable and explained the items he was doing. Though these are small things I was very happy with how everything looked he was diligent in his work. I am going to use him again for more things I am unable to do in my home. He is very pleasant and lets you know options of other items I talked about wanting done. He is even going to help me get rid of items in my garage to take for recycling very reasonable pricing too. Highly recommend Kevin
