The installers started on time and their work was done in a very professional manner. The windows are triple pane and seem to be of very good quality. I would recommend Brookside Home Improvement to any one needing new windows.

The provider was very prompt in responding to my purchase followed by an on-site visit furnishing me with details and options. After my completed order was processed the work was done in a very timely, efficient and professional manner followed by an excellent clean-up of all debris.

The service went great. I had used the company in the past. They did exactly what the deal stated. 2-3 technicians came out and completed the job in about a half day. They were very professional and were good with the cleanup afterwards. I had no difficulties scheduling the deal.

Eric visited our home and provided information on his company and the window products that they offered. The appointment went well and Eric was never hurried or pushy, he took the time to measure each window and examined the outside of the home as well. We made a few changes to the original estimate and elected to do a combination of wood windows on the first floor and vinyl windows on the second floor, Eric was very flexible to our changes. Eric was able to have his technicians come out and install the windows ahead of schedule, which worked out great for us since we were having other work done in our home at the same time. The technicians were neat, polite and most importantly very skilled at installing the windows and all the custom work we were surprised how non disruptive it was as well. After the wooden windows were installed, Eric recommended us to a gentleman, (John Sullivan) that they work with, to come out to our home to stain the windows to match our interior trim. John and his helper Arthur were also real pros, they matched the windows exactly to our trim, they were equally neat and professional as the installers. We could have purchased the windows pre-stained, but Eric recommended because of the age of our home that the stain may not be an exact match, and we are very happy we took his advice! We are very happy with the end results and would highly recommend Eric and Brookside Home Improvements!

The contractor came to my house to measure for the purchased windows, but told me that he could not do the job that I purchased because of code restrictions. He said that he would have to provide tempered glass and other adjustments that would raise the price. He told me that he would send me an estimate, but never did. I have not heard from him since, and no work has been done.

We had 5 windows replaced with triple pane double hung windows. No issues or complaints.

Erik was fantastic. From day 1 he was prompt in responding, was detailed in answering my many questions and did a great job making sure we were ordering exactly what we were looking for. His crew was professional and courteous. We were very pleased with the entire experience and have given a strong referral to other neighbors looking for windows/doors.

It took us longer than we expected to decide who to trust with such a major upgrade to our home. Eric didn't think the windows would come in at the time we'd aimed for. Not a problem as we delayed the project not him. We planned to accordingly. Then when we least expected it we got a call from Eric saying the windows were in and asking if they could install them the next day. We made arrangements and said yes they could start the next day. The guys showed up timely the next day. They got to work right away. The first day they put all the windows except the bow and the patio door in. They ran into a problem getting the patio door out but they did what was needed to get it in. The second day they put the bow in and capped off the outside. They also put a couple of nails in some soffit that came loose. They did a great job, cut back the inside stops to make the windows look correct. Outside they custom bent the vinyl for capping. The days they were here were hot and rainy. They worked incredibly hard despite the weather. Everyone that's seen the work comments on how nice everything looks. Some one that was in the construction industry before they retired have looked at the work and said they did a very good job. We're very happy with the decision we made in going with Brookside Home Improvement. You will be too!! PS I never give any one all A's but these guys truly deserve it!

The team arrived promptly and worked quickly and professionally. When they were done we had 5 new windows that looked great and will save us a lot of money on our energy bills. The owner met with us prior to the work and was very informative about our options. The whole crew was very friendly too. I would definitely recommend them!

Our windows look amazing! I never thought I would be so excited to have new windows. Ours were original to our 100 year old house, rotten and nasty. Brookside was fast, clean and answered my many, many design questions. We wanted our windows to match the original, and they did just that. The trim was replaced around the windows on the interior to match the rest of our house. They left them unfinished so we could paint them at a later date. It is so nice to open them (finally!) and have a breeze in our upstairs. I would highly recommend Eric and his team!

Everything went fine. The windows were installed. The workers were on time and took care of the job efficiently.

Eric got in touch with me promptly. He came out to take measurements, gave great advice, mentioned any potential hiccups, and gave me a quote that was only slightly higher than the expected $4,000, despite the fact that there was some additional work that needed to be done (some of the windows were in an unfinished area of an old house). He quoted a timeline of 3 to 5 weeks, and came in right at 3 weeks. His guys were able to do it all in one day, and the windows look great.

They were very good. There were hooks in the garage for my clothesline and they took them off did the siding and put them back beautifully. They did a great job of cleaning up. I was very please with them, I also liked that they didn't make a big show that they were in our neighborhood doing work. Overall, they were very easy to deal with.

The entire process went well. I met with Eric and showed him what I'd like to have done. He measured all windows and also estimated gutter needs. There was a bit of a wait before installation, but that was because all windows needed to be ordered. I was in no hurry so having to wait was fine with me. Eric did tell me that both the window and gutter installation would happen within a day or two of his company receiving the windows. I received a call on a Friday and window installation happened on Monday. The guys were great. They installed all seven windows in one day. They worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after each window install. They came back the next day and installed the gutters. Again, quick and efficient gutter installation and clean up after they were complete. I would call Brookside again should I find the need for any of their other services. Overall, I found Brookside Home Improvement to have been a great choice for my window and gutter replacements.

A friend used Brookside several years ago for their roof and gutters and gave them a high recommendation. This was confirmed by Angie's List reviews. Everything went smooth from beginning to end. Eric was great and answered my numerous questions as they came up. We also needed to have our chimney rebuilt from the roof up and Eric gave me a referral for someone who was reasonable and did a good job. During the tearoff, they did a great job of protecting our house and windows using tarps and pieces of wood. They did a good job of cleanup when they were done. They made special extensions on the gutter downspouts so I can use my rain barrels in the Summer, but swap in the extensions during the Winter when the barrels are in storage. Eric didn't charge extra for this. He really thought of everything and was very responsive and proactive. This was the biggest project we've done on the house so far and I felt like I was in good hands.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they were very good. They did the work in one day. We had to pay some additional over the Big Deal price. They were fine, prompt and worked very hard. They cleaned up perfectly and we had no problems. So far the quality has been great.

Eric was very personable and transparent when going through all the options for the windows and gutter replacement. He worked with us to understand our budget and was professional in both his pricing and in explaining the timing to get both jobs done. Once his crew was able to get here to do both jobs (thanks Chicago winter), they were professional, fast, and did a great job. We would definitely recommend Brookside to others!

Good communication, kept appointment on time, followed up on bid. He proved to be very professional in all aspects and also very easy to talk to. Provided three options and was not a hard sell, seemed really interested in helping me save some money, yet still get a quality job. I'm still in the bid process for this job and Brookside Home Improvement is on the short list.

Intially was very disappointed with quality of outcome. Owner sent crew out to fix problems. Owner was responsive but was surprised by the installation design.

The end result was exactly what I was hoping for and it looks great. Eric was a pleasure to work with and was able to get the work done before the extreme cold weather arrived. While the cleanup could have been more thorough, I was all in all very happy with the work that was done.
