They were excellent and I was very pleased with their work They made significant improvements with how they matched up everything to make it look as seamless as possible. It was affordable for all they did.

This project went well. The were punctual, cleaned up after they were done.

The installers were prompt, courteous and did a professional job.

I called Brookside in early October, I asked to have an estimate done quickly due to my schedule. Eric responded by making the appointment within two days. He was here on time, pointed out how to improve the downspout placement and fully explained the estimate given. The gentlemen that did the installation were polite, professional, cleaned up after themselves and completed the gutters in one day. I have and would recommend Brookside Home Improvement.

Work looks great. Will use them again for other work on my house that falls within their expertise.

The installers were very knowledgeable, professional, clean, fast and efficient. The whole process went smooth from the time I purchased the windows until the day of installation. The windows are of good quality and overall I was extremely happy with the service. I would purchase from them again.

Prior to making my Angie's list purchase, I used the contact info to reach the company directly. Eric was kind enough to educate me on windows and how their process would go. I followed through on the other window appoints I made prior to learning of Brookside. I felt most comfortable with Eric's product and his approach to window sales so I moved forward with my purchase. Eric and I schedule a date/time slot for his arrival. He showed up, demoed the product and took my window measurements. Eric was informative, personable and well vested in his work. That really helped because I was a bit nervous about making my first window purchase. I decided to get windows installed in clusters. My initial window choices changed so I asked Eric to bear with me and extend us another visit. He was cool about it and came back out to measured our remaining windows. We moved forward with the window order from there. It was about a 3-week wait between ordering and installation. Rain delayed the installation a day or so therefore a couple reschedules were warranted but as soon as the forecast cooperated, the installers showed up. It?s always awkward to welcome total strangers in your home but I didn?t feel uncomfortable with them around at all. The crew was professional, courteous and focused. Once the windows were in, they (the 2 installers) collected all the old windows and cleaned up the debris inside and outside. One thing I wish I knew amid this experience was if it was customary to tip the installers?it is a service and all. I didn?t have a clue if I was supposed to give cash but then again what percentage of what number. I never figured it out so I tried to compound the plethora of online suggestions by serving the guys up some water, coffee and baked cookies then I packed them up some beverages and snacks to go?.Still clueless. Anyway, I've had the windows over a month now. We've had a number of weather changes in that amount of time and I'm still visually and restfully pleased with the product. No signs of water seeping in or drafts moving in or out. Thanks Brookside.

Eric the owner and his team were very professional and Eric was not pushy. He came and gave me the estimate, showed me an example of the windows and answered all my questions. Before talking to Eric I was considering one of his competitors but they just gave a price over the phone and just wanted to come and take the measures. I did not feel comfortable making the decision over the phone without looking at the windows and the person cheking mine. Eric was more that willing and he answered all my phone calls after I ordered my windows. On the work/labor I will give an A rating for 4 windows and a B+ on the last one because I would have done something different in that one. But over all I am satisfied with the work and would recomend them.

They were fine. The windows were great. They came out and we ordered the windows and then they delivered them. I think it takes like 6 weeks to order so it took a little while. They did have a problem with one of the windows and they ordered it wrong but they came out and fixed it. No problems a few weeks later. We ended up buying a lot more so we ended up spending for more windows. I think they gave us the same deal though for whatever windows that was on the deal.

The did an excellent job. Their customer service and their skill was excellent.

Eric the owner came over to my house within a few days of my Big Deal purchase for an estimate. He arrived on time and was very courteous. After looking at the windows he explained to me that the type of windows is not included in the Big Deal. Though didn't get my business, Eric educated me on basic window types and also gave me some suggestions on where to go for replacement. He was very nice and when I am ready to do window replacement for the whole house I would definitely consider using Brookside Home Improvement.

They arrived on time, removed the old gutters and installed the new ones. After they were finished, they hauled away the debris. They did a terrific job and would recommend them.

I called and had asked if I could purchase three, see how it went and reserve 2 more at the same price later on if I wanted to. They told me that they could do that so I ordered 3. He came out and measured the windows the same day within hours of my purchasing The Big Deal. He told me, I had to wait until they were in after being ordered to be installed. They called a few weeks later, showed up on time, installed them, cleaned up and they are incredible. The guys installing were fantastic as they explained the windows I had before weren't the problem as much as the way they were installed. He was great! I'm going to be ordering my two upstairs as soon as the winter comes and as I'm very comfortably enjoying my warm living room, and I get tired of the artic breeze coming in through the bedroom ones upstairs!

This was the second time I used Brookside. I did a round of windows last year on an Angie's List coupon and finished this year. Eric, the owner, is very easy to work with, windows came in a relatively short time, and the installation crew is great. One window did not fit correctly, was reordered and installed in short time. I would definitely use him again!

I bought the Angie's "Big Deal," and Brookside performed as advertised. They showed up on time, did the work in a very professional manner, were in and out in no time, and I am very happy with the quality of the windows and installation.

It went relatively well. They came and finished on time. They left old counterweights in, did not bother to insulate existing mullions and to remove counterweight pulleys. They just hammer them in.

Over the past six months, I have remodeled several areas in my home and thus have dealt with many contractors in this time. I can tell you that Eric from Brookside is one of the best. First, in any project, good communication is a must, and Eric makes himself available to take calls and I've never had a problem getting ahold of him. Second, he really cares about his business and that his customers are satisfied with the work. I originally bought windows from him but have gone back to him for additional services (i.e. doors) because his work is solid and he is easy to work with. All services I've purchased were performed on time and on budget. I have nothing but good things to say about how Eric runs his business.

My initial contact with Eric Peck, from Brookside Home Improvement, was by phone on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. We spoke for about an hour, discussing various window options I had. Eric was very patient with responding to the numerous questions I had. He emailed preliminary quotes for casement and double-hung windows on April 8 and 10, respectively, based on measurements and photos I provided. I also contacted an additional window company and received an estimate by phone; I chose to go with Brookside. My old casement windows were nearly 58 years old and in pretty bad condition. At first I decided to replace the windows with double hung-windows, but later elected to go with casement windows. On May 1, Eric came to measure the existing windows and I signed the contract. On May 28, the installers came and installed windows in the living room and one bedroom. The initial living room windows installed were not quite right and had to be reordered. The installation of my windows was completed on June 19, and Eric happened to be in my neighborhood and stopped by to measure for the rest of the windows that need to be replaced. Additionally, after each visit, the installers cleaned-up and removed all debris before leaving my home. I have referred Brookside Home Improvement to my neighbor, who also intends to have living room windows replaced. In conclusion, I must admit, albeit a few hiccups, I am very satisfied with the purchase and installation of my windows, and I highly recommend Brookside Home Improvement.

Brookside Home Improvement did a great job. They came in and were incredibly quick. The quality of the product was just what it said it was. It was a quality product and they were done in half a day. They had to order the windows and I think we got held up a little bit because the owner had some personal stuff going on. But we weren't in a great hurry, so there was no hardship. The workmen that came out were cordial and explained everything to us. They picked up very carefully. They went over everything with a metal detectors, to pick up any nails or anything that came out from the windows. We have had no issues with them. We love them. We replaced something that had probably been here since the 1970's. There was some mold and it was great to have that all gone.

The company owner had very little availability and it was difficult to schedule the installation appointment.

I purchased ten windows through The Big Deal and added the doors to the project. Eric came out and measured the windows and gave me a great quote on the doors. The windows and doors were installedfour weeks later. The workmen were on time, very professional and did an excellent job on the clean up. I will certainly call them when I am ready to replace the rest of the windows in my home.

Workers arrived at 10:00 A.M. They removed all the old windows (6 of them) and began installing the new ones which consisted of 4 double hung and 2 sliders. One of the workers checked the windows I had in a bedroom so that he could match the way the new ones would be installed. They worked until 3:30 and cleaned up everything. In fact, the only indication that anyone was here were my beautiful new windows! The installer and I walked through the rooms to check the windows and asked if I had any questions. Since Erik had been here prior to the installation, checked measurements and showed me how the windows operated any questions I might have had were answered. The installer reminded me to take the stickers off the windows and save them for tax purposes. I am very pleased I had Brookside install my windows.

The work done was of good quality and done according to the specifications of the contract by the workman. However, one of the reasons I had them install the new basement windows was to get a feeling about their other work as I have had an interest replacing the first and second story windows in my home. I was quite specific that after the basement windows were put in I wanted an estimate on the upper floors and had one of the workmen on the job take measurements of these windows. They were paid immidately on completion of the job, by the way. However, I was never called back about an estimate and I also called myself a few weeks later and left a message but weeks later I have recieved no response. One of the unfortunate and extremely unprofessional behaviors of many trades people, I am afraid, is if they don't want to do your job they just "don't get back to you". In my own line of work,and in many lines of work, it would be completely unacceptable to make no response and demonstrates a lack of basic human respect.
