The job was more complicated than I originally anticipated given the particulars of our home, but it all turned out well. I am so glad to have had this work done and we are enjoying the entertainment options we now have available to us. We plan on using Paul for additional electrical work in the near future.

The installation went great. Even from the very start when I first emailed him requesting a quote. I contacted several home theatre installers I found on Angie's List for an initial estimate. Paul stood out for his professionalism, his quick response, his thoroughness. He had a ready answer for each of my questions. Only he and 1 other installer I talked to mentioned the importance of surge protection, which I think is crucial. I had already bought my own wall-mount articulating arm (a Peerless), but it turns out Paul could have provided one just as good for less money. Since mine was already bought, Paul installed it. He arrived with a helper, and the two men clearly knew what they were doing. Initially it seemed like my installation was pretty straightforward, since I did not have surround-sound, a lot of components, sub-woofer or the like. I just had Tivo and a Blu-ray to connect. But an unexpected glitch happened when it turned out there was practically no space behind my drywall due to masonry butting up right against the wood studs. Paul, on the spot, brainstormed about 3 different solutions, telling me the pros and cons of each, and I chose what he recommended as the best solution. I was impressed by that. I now have a beautifully installed wall-mount LCD TV, with the HDMI cables hidden, and surge protection for all. I can't imagine how it could have gone better. I would definitely hire Paul again, and would recommend his services to friends.

Paul and his team did a great job for us installing our home theater system several weeks ago. They were always on time, worked hard all day, and explained what they were doing every step of the way. We had several light fixtures hung, 10 canned lights installed into a plaster ceiling, and surround sound system installed into the ceiling. Everything looks great - and Paul has been extremely responsive with a few follow up calls we have had since the installation. Purchased the whole sound system through Paul at or less than what we would have paid at a Best Buy, etc... Paul recommended installing all of our components and subwoofer in a closet next to the room - which gives us none of the clutter and a beautiful, clean and simple tv installed above our fireplace. Very glad that we were able to find Paul on Angie's list - and will be hiring him again to handle outdoor lighting/sound in the springtime.

We would have attempted the job ourselves, but once we discovered our walls were constructed with metal studs -- not traditional wood ones -- we knew we needed a professional. Paul and his helper did a great job, even meticulously wrapping our bundles of cords together to make everything look pretty. Very courteous and personable, too. Would highly recommend!

My sound system quit working. I called Paul because of the positive reviews. I was not disappointed. Paul promptly came out the next day. He figured out the problem, fixed it and showed me what to do if it should happen again.He also cleaned up the wiring behind my TV and offered to program my sound system remote to act as a universal remote so I wouldn't have to use 4 remotes to watch a dvd. A few days later, Paul called to make sure everything was working properly and at that time I was having a problem with comcast and Paul offered to help me with that problem if comcast couldn't resolve the issue. Paul is a good guy and I would definitely call him again.

This is the second time I've hired Acoustical Vision. I was again impressed with the professionalism and expertise they brought to the table. They arrived on time and stayed until everything was tested and then cleaned up so that nothing was left behind. Very nice people and they do a great job. Paul and his crew are top notch and great to work with. I strongly recommend!

As I said, I have the same system with a different shelving system in another room. The first system was installed by someone else and what terrible job he did. Paul arrived on time, showed me the shelf's he would be using, and went to work, three hours later, all cleaned up and looking great, no cables showing, everything aligned properly, looks great. I'm going to have him redo the other room also!

Great! Paul was able to come out and give me a quote, and tell me what exactly would need to be done, how it would look etc. He and his associate came out in the morning and discussed again their plan for mounting both televisions. They got right to work, and I did my best to clear out of the house with my toddler! My cable box didn't have the appropriate connection, and they waited until I was able to switch it with my cable provider. They both were very nice and professional, the work they did was great, and we are enjoying watching our televisions!

I was completely impressed with not only the quality of the work, but the professionalism and attention to detail that Paul displayed. He spent a lot of time at my house making sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it. My job required more than what he thought, but he not only honored his price, but he spent extra time trouble shooting with what turned out to be a Comcast problem (the cable box was not activating properly). Paul stayed with me to make sure the activation worked and that took a lot more time than we expected. He kept saying that he didn't want to leave until everything was perfect. He also had to cut through some drywall to get the cable fished properly. He replaced the drywall and repaired it so that it was paint-ready. He vacuumed and everything! As part of the install, Paul also put in an electrical box for the cable box and DVR. I am going to be finishing off this project with a surround sound system in a couple of months. I can't imagine using anyone but Acoustical Vision. I strongly recommend these guys for TV mounting, home theater installs,audio and anything else related. You'll be happy that you did.
