Worker's very professional & did an excellent job. Cleaned up after job completed. I'm very stored with the job.

I ended up going with another company that was slightly lower, would so some additional work and was recommended by a friend. This is a correction to the overall grade C that was indicated by the review. I would make it an A even though I didn't use. Especially compared to the company I did use which was bad but not as professional either.

This was a dirty, messy job due to the old insulation, 2 men worked all day to do the job. They were very neat & the rest of our house showed no signs of dirt. They came back once to touch up a few loose areas of insulation & I was very please with that. I don't love this way the new high density insulation is made with a paper covering. (The old one had foil covering). But they don't make the old type anymore.

Emailed Trula over the weekend to inquire about fixing a (probably) leaky skylight. Got a reply first thing Monday morning and we touched based quickly. I live in the city and asked if they could come out to our tall second story, take a look, and seal it up if confirmed. The guy I spoke with said it would be $575 but I would have to wait for the weather to go above 35 degrees—which might take a while. Meanwhile my wife calls and they tell her they will come out for free this Saturday. But on Friday they call and tell us they won't come out at all unless we are considering a full roof repair. Unprofressional all around. Seems like their A+ rating has them so busy that they can't be bothered with little projects. Unfortunately in a few years when our roof DOES need repair, we won't be calling Trula.

They provided an estimate that I thought was way too high.

They did a fantastic job. They did a pretty good job. It's like it belongs to the house. They gave me a discount. The price was good. Quality was great. They were on time. Their professionalism was excellent. I think if they can improve on something, if they could lower their price that would be great. They had 2 guys with them to do that so he had to pay his staff. They did a super job and they cleaned up after themselves. They came and did what they were supposed to do, cleaned up, and left.

He arrived as scheduled and work was performed quickly for a reasonable price will call Trela for future work.

I can't complain about the work that was done. Top quality installation and product. When I signed contract with Eric he assured me that they would work with my insurance company. During the project, my insurance company contacted Ryan for information on the repairs and need for additional information. He avoided the call repeated. When he did answer, he made it clear that he NEVER works with insurance companies. He called me after the representative, to make it clear to me, that he is working for me. "you signed the contract." He was quite rude and insinuated that I contacted the insurance company and he expects full payment from me. My personal agent called him, and he told him the same, He does not work with insurance and that I signed the contract. Ultimately, my insurance company did'nt cover the complete job because of Ryan's lack of cooperation. I had to take a loan for $11,000. I emailed both Ryan and Robert, the president of the company, and got no response. Be careful with the financial agreement with this company.

The inspection was good. I would probably use them in the future.

We had Jackson fix our railing in our house then, we added on a new wrap around porch, they do absolutely amazing work.

Received prompt estimate & easily scheduled work. Large crew showed up on time & were professional & courteous. Worksite was kept clean & roof was installed in 1 day. Our decision to contract with the company that had successfully installed our previous roof 17 yrs. ago was correct.

The Trela skylight crew arrived as scheduled and began to replace the two new units. They notified me that raccoons had eaten away portions of the lead collar vent stacks on my roof. I had just hired a tree service to cut low hanging branches that were resting on my second story roof so I knew that raccoons did have access to my roof. The crew had taken cell phone photographs to show the damage in question and I agreed to have the additional work done. They were able to get the new collars and replace the damaged ones while they did the skylights. I recently had Trela Roofing place gutter guards on my roof and find them able to do excellent work at a reasonable price.

Ryan was personable, professional and very helpful during the inspection, explaining what was involved in the project. Estimated time for getting on the schedule was two weeks. Crew was on time and professional. Only recommendation is that owners take notes and pictures during the inspection and be prepared to go over the work with the crew when they arrive.

Wonderful. They were honest about the fact that insulation was needed eventually but didn't try to sell us **** ** work we didn't need.

Ryan Trela shepherded the whole process. He calmed neighbors nerves about the job and explained the process to me in detail. His workers were careful, cautious and left the job site extremely neat each day. There wasn't a single problem in the whole process.

This company is unprofessional and they don't follow up with you. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

They were professional. Their price was about $900 higher than another B rated company on Angie's List.

I did not know I had tiles that needed repair until a neighbor told me on Monday evening, February 22. Six inches of snow were expected to fall starting on Wednesday morning, February 24. I could only see two pieces of tiles that were "flapping" - one on the SW corner of the detached garage, one on the house but as I did not go onto the roof, could not see if there were more. Called Trela and another local provider. Ryan Trela called Tuesday morning, February 21, to say he was at a neighbor's house two doors down who also had damage and he could see the damage on my roof from where he stood. It would be $975 to repair. As it was supposed to snow and I have a $1000 deductible on my home insurance, I told him to go ahead, not wanting snow melting in my attic and feeling I had no alternative. He said they would be there later on Tuesday but did not show up. I was at work Wednesday morning but my retired next-door neighbor was home and told me they showed up at 9:30 am and worked for about 20 minutes. (Ryan Trela claims he was there when his workmen were there and they worked for "almost an hour.") Snow started, according to my neighbor, "as they were finishing." The other local provider called Wednesday morning while at my also-suffering neighbor's house to tell me that there were "people on my roof." I told him since he hadn't called, I went with Trela. But my neighbor ended up having the other provider put plastic on her roof because Trela was so expensive. In hindsight, that's what I should have done but I panicked. Two days later, a neighbor showed me that the garage roof was still flapping! Apparently, Trela had missed this. However, after I called, they did come out a few days later to repair at no charge. As I had had the entire roof replaced five years ago and it costs $7100 to pull off and dispose of the old roof, replace with ice shielding (a job that took two 12-hour days for six men), the amount of $975 for 20 minutes (or even 60 minutes) of work seems extremely excessive. When I applied to Ryan Trela, he told me that this was not price gouging - that that's what he had told me the job cost and I had agreed to it. So make your own judgement when hiring Trela.
