Trela Roofing and Remodeling

We used the Angies List discount to purchase additional blown in insulation for our attic. We only had about 4-5 inches of insulation (you could still see the rafters clearly). Trella came out and promptly gave us a quote. Then we bought the Angies List Deal and saved $500. We added about 8-10 inches of blown in insulation to get our attic to an R-38 value. We set a date and time for them to perform the work. They were prompt, courteous and they cleaned up after themselves. Very professional throughout the whole process. Although it was a mild winter, we could feel the difference in how warm the house was and how often the furnace kicked on to maintain 70 degrees in our house. I would definitely recommend Trella to anyone looking to add some extra insulation. Thanks.

Their service was fantastic. They were very friendly and easy to work with. I thought the price was a little bit high, but I was able to negotiate with them a little bit.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal. They actually called me for an appointment, I did not have to lift a finger. They showed up on time and did a great job. The gutters were completely full, and by the time they left the gutters were spotless. They left no mess behind. I will call them again, we were very pleased.

They charged me $1200 I think for their services. I thought that they were a little expensive but I know they did good work. They do have a good reputation. I think they did a good job. I will use them again in the future.

Work was completed within a week of the first visit by Ryan Trela. Used the Angie's List coupons which gave us a $1,000 credit. The workers arrived on time and did an excellent job, very professionally. We are very happy with a job well done!

Ryan called to set appt for inspection and take measurements to prepare est. Bid was e-mailed to me. I selected one of the job options and price. Ryan picked up the contract and scheduled the job. The day before the installation, I got a call from Rich the installer, saying he may be delayed. Rich and the crew were in and out in 3 hours, with a full clean up. It was a painless home repair.

They arrive when they said, first to size up the home and take measurements and to mak sure the crew had accesss to the roof and the skylights, then they sent their crew to perform the services that we had paid for. They then gave us an detail estimate of areas of concerns regarding the skylights for us to either repair or replace.

I paid $100 to start with and then $898 so it was $998 in total. They seemed to have done a good job. I haven't had any more leaks. My only complaint about the guy was that when he came out he said that he would come the following week. He didn't make an exact date for an appointment. I understand that roofing relies one on weather, but he just made it sound like I could really expect him in the next week and then he didn't come. He did the same thing for about 3 weeks telling me that he was going to come and he finally did, but I found that kind of annoying that he did it that way. I guess they were just trying to squeeze my little job in. I would have been aware if they had made an appointment for 3 weeks from now and then just said they would come depending on the weather, rather than making me wait for weeks. I was sitting home hoping they were going to come. Other than that, they were fine. They were polite and courteous and they did the job. I got a good value for what I spent. When I first contacted them, they responded right away. I might use them again in the future.

They were on time, had enough Asst. to do the job and clean up. Put patio furniture back, flower pots, etc. (Good job!!)

Two men came and did the job in one hour. They cleaned up the gutters and I am very satisfied.

The masonry workers and roofers were very professional work in record time and cleaned up when time and cleaned up when they finished. You would not have known they were there; I was very pleased with their professionalism and their work.

Trela Roofing had a Big Deal on Angie's List. We had dealt with them previously and were satisfied with their work. Therefore, I went for their Big Deal ($249.00 for $500.00 worth of blown in attic insulation). I spoke with Ryan and decided upon the 12 inch insulation package. This was to be done over the existing unsulation in our attic. The workers came on the scheduled date and time. The work was completed in a professional and timely manner. Their was no mess. I could not ask for a better experience. Now I'm looking forward to the big savings on our heating and cooling bills!!

It went very well. The workers arrived around 9:30 am and were finished by 1:30pm. The men placed drop cloths in the hallway to prevent tracking of dirt into the house. The company sent 4 workers. Two worked in the attic and two worked out on the roof. The workers were very polite and explained everthing they completed.

I called Trela Roofing and made an appointment to have someone come out and inspect my roof. I had purchased a "Big Deal" coupon in February and wanted to have the roof checked before winter. The gentleman I spoke to was very helpful and I was scheduled for an appointment with Ryan Trela. On the scheduled day Ryan arrived and did the inspection. As my roof is fairly new I didn't anticipate any major issues and that turned out to be the case. Ryan told me I needed to replace three shingles and have the soil stack sealed. Ryan told me it would be done within a week to ten days. Well, the job was done two days later. The only hiccup was in the billing, Ryan did not send me a work invoice so I called and spoke to them, They sent an invoice two days later. Trela did not charge me any extra even though the bill showed a higher total. I checked the roof (this is why I didn't write a report earlier) and they did a nice job. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. I have used your your "Big Deal" a few times now and have always been satisfied. Not everyone was a star but at least the people I have dealt with were competent.

It was a very positive experience and I thought they did a very good job. The workers were working and I kept giving them water as it was very hot, which they appreciated. I will give them an A as they were very good. I got 3 prices and I went with them for 1 reason that they were going to put something by my chimney called a cricket, that was to support the water away from my fireplace chimney and that was the only company that even did that, so I went with them. I had 3 companies come out other than them and nobody even mentioned that, so cricket was like, keeping the water away from the chimney and they were the only ones to deal with it, which I was impressed with a lot. They took 3 days to do the job, as it was a complete tear off of the roof and did the shingles. They shingled it all by hand and not the machine. They nailed it completely and probably hats why it took them 3 days to do it. They also put a skylight in for me, too, infact they did a lot of work. They put a blue skylight in and tore off the roof and it was close to 50 squares of shingling, which is a lot. If I buy another house and needed a roof, I will surely call them. I just called and cancelled my subscription. I was satisfied with them and I found them when I got the service from Angies List. I guess out of the 4 people who came out, they were the most impressive ones, for the reason as mentioned, about the cricket.

We contacted Trela roofing because they are right in our neighborhood. They showed up right on time to look at the job. They seemed to be very professional. We received their bid via e-mail in apporximately 4 to 5 days. Their bid was almost double the other two bids we had received. We decided to go with another company.

Easy. One day. Guys really nice. Cleaned up too! And great customer service. They always answered the phone. And the son, Ryan, made a point of coming by a few days AFTER the project was finished to find out if we felt good about the roof, and to get the check himself. They didn't ask the foreman of the job to get the check from us as we were leaving -- totally refreshing. Loved it! The cost was more than other bids, but I liked the people I spoke to at Trela. I liked the detail they gave me in the bid -- it seemed like they were going to do a quality job and not rush it. All true!

I called them for a roofing estimate. They were extremely professional and thorough; however, they wanted several thousand dollars more than the other estimate I got, which was from a company that does a lot of business in our neighborhood. They seem like a great company, it just wasn't worth the extra moolah!

I used someone else. I had no problems with their quote, though the quote was a little high. We were in the process of selling our house, so we were trying to get some stuff done.

In addition to that I had some extra work done that was not related to the storm damage. They responded within a day or two, but they did not do the work. Their estimate far exceeded the amount that it would've cost to have the work done. He was courteous. I received an estimate by e-mail and regular post. It was very professional. Their price was the only thing that I didn't think much of. I had called a contractor and he referred me to someone else because he was involved in larger jobs.

Trella was quite responsive, was thorough in its estimate and provided a written estimate with photographs, was willing to discuss the state of the roof and the proposed work to be done over the phone. Trella also kept to their timetable for performing their work, they were attentive to our request to avoid our neighbors lawns, kept a clean work site, and was done ahead of schedule. Terrific job.
