Crew was prompt, courteous and worked faster then expected for the work at hard.

They were on time everything was very professional.

Wasn't home but looks good from ground so guess it went well.

Ryan, the owners son met me at the house to give an estimate on replacing a sliding glass patio door and two entry doors. He showed up right on time and seemed very knowledgable and professional. I explained to him that we were getting ready to sell the house and didn't want to sink a lot of money into the doors. We wanted decent servicable doors, not top of the line expensive ones. He described the doors he thought would work for us and promised to email a proposal. The next day I received a professional looking proposal describing the doors and the work to be performed. Everything looked great except the price. I don't know if it was an error or maybe they were too busy to do it but their estimate was almost three times higher than my next highest bid. Needless to say, we did not hire them but I wouldn't rule out trying them again in the future.

I received a complete inspection report with estimate.

The crew showed up as scheduled and installed the fan in probably less than an hour. No problems.

Mr. Trela came out, evalcuated my problems and sent me two estimates as he said he would at the site. The first estimate was for a more involved repair and the second was for a temporary solution that would buy me time until I was ready to do a complete re-roof. I went with the temporary fix, but will definitely keep his company in mind when eventually replacing the roof. I appreciated his candor and willingness to find a solution for me within the Angie's Deal I purchased. Very professional all-arond.

getting a the quote was quick. And the process seems easy enough; however, based on his estimate, this is not a project for this year. Maybe next year.

Great. While i did not have service preformed, company very professional. Gave best quote overall, and also recommended waiting 2 years, as roof had a bit more life in it. Will be using the company in the future

It went well. Trela came out initially to view the roof and then came out another day to do the work. Very pleased with the service they provided.

Still waiting on quote. I've left a message twice and have not heard from them. after 3 weeks, I am basically giving up on this one. I do not know why getting quotes form companies on this site is so hard or at least an acknowledgement that they are either still processing or cannot do the job.

Ryan seemed very professional on the phone and in person when he came to do the estimate. While his pricing was competitive, the estimate lacked the detail that the other estimates we received had. We told him we needed a ridge vent installed in one section of the roof because (based on our inspector's report when we bought the house) there was not a vent installed. Yet his estimate read, "Remove existing ridge vent system. Install ShingleVent II covered style ridge vent to peak of Rear of house." He #1 did not pay attention to what we told him, and #2 he did not go on the roof to see what we needed for himself. (Our first estimate did go on the roof with no issue.) When I asked Ryan why he didn't go on the roof to make an estimate, he said OSHA requirements said he needed two guys to go on the roof. Why wouldn't he just have brought another guy with him then? He e-mailed the estimate to us, and again the pricing was competitive. He also offered to give us a price break if he could come out the next day to get the work done. While this was nice, we did want to get two other estimates, so we declined that offer. Also, one of their coupons on Angie's List reads: Coupon For 'Trela Roofing and Remodeling' Coupon Celebrating 61 years in business. $61 off any project! He did not mention this coupon to me, even though I said I received his information from Angie's List, and when I brought it up to him over the phone, he said it was only for projects over $1000. (The ridge vent installation would have been $750.) When I brought to his attention that there were no such stipulations on the coupon, he said, "You are absolutely right," but he did not offer the coupon. These seemed like empty words to me. Ryan's last name was Trela and he was the sales manager, so it seems like he should be more familiar with the promotions that his company has. Overall, even though his pricing was competitive and it seemed like they did quality work, the lack of detail in the estimate and the lack of knowledge regarding their own promotions made me uncomfortable in accepting their bid.

From start to finish, Trela Roofing was completely professional! Ryan Trela was prompt for our initial appointment. He listened carefully to our questions, explained their processes as well as City of Chicago code. He was upfront about where we might incur additional costs from when they did a complete inspection of our roof. As he predicted, we did need to have additional plywood purchased for areas where there was damage and age. When the weather finally cooperated, the workman arrived on time. There was a crew of 6 roofers who demolished our roof, replaced the wood and put on our roof in one day! My husband was present during some of the work and he marveled at the fact that although there was much debris raining down from the demo, not one area of our backyard was damaged! We were both astonished and delighted that at the conclusion of the day, there was NO evidence to be found on our property that the workman were ever there! Super job! We are extremely pleased with all phases of our interactions with Trela roofing and would highly recommend them.

Trela was 'Johny on the spot' calling me back right away, great follow up , e-mailed and mailed me a hard copy of their quote. Just great until I saw the price. The Trela estimate was sky high. Not only was it the most expensive estimate I received it was out of the ball park high compared to everyone else. I received $8,800-$12,000 estimates for my roof, Trela came in over $18,000 dollars! Myself having some experience they were telling me(without actually saying it) they didn't really want the job but if I was not well versed enough to know what I was doing they would have gladly done the job for this way over market price quote. I'm sure they would have done an excellent job but at their ridiculous price I don't believe I would have gotten the value I was looking for. I would suggest anyone needing a roof to call Trela for an estimate and will confirm my findings, that they will be on the high side of your estimate if not the highest.

They did a good job. They arrived when they said they would and got everything completed as they said the wood. They were very efficient.

The Trela crew was very professional and courteous. They kept us informed every step of the way with what they were doing. They were also very accommodating with doing the work split into 2 parts so we could have mold remediation done in the middle.

Professional service. We purchased an Angie's Deal so they wouldn't schedule until they had more customers in our area. They did call once they knew. On time and professional service people. They did a great job especially since I don't think the gutters had been cleaned in a few years prior to our moving in. They also provided a report with photos as to the condition of our roof. We would recommend their service.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this project. The work was okay and they did the job. I provided the downspouts and they did the labor to put them up. The work was pretty standard and I can't say anything stood out to me. I thought their price was high for the amount of work that was done; I thought they would do more. The work they did was sufficient and they did what I asked them to do. They responded to my original call promptly, called before they came and came when they were supposed to. I was not here when they completed the job.

I am very pleased with Trela Roofing. They are very professional and take pride in their family owned business and the services they provide to the community. A recent rainstorm that revealed a leaky roof prompted me to contact them. I got their contact information from Angie's List and called based on their location and client reviews. They came to my home to assess my problem, provided me with a reasonable estimate, and fixed my roof all within a weeks time. I will definitely recommend them to others.
