They were very good. They did it in one day. They had a crew large enough to come out because the weather was rather unpredictable at that time and they made sure that they had enough people on site. They cleaned up, they put tarps down on both neighbors' yards and stuff, cleaned up afterwards, and carried everything away. It was like it never happened except I had a new roof. They were very professional. There was a foreman that was on site and he kind of overlooked their work and made sure that they were doing what they were supposed to do. In fact they were interrupted by rain for a little bit and they waited that out and continued. I was pleased with them.
Description of Work: Trela Roofing and Remodeling reroofed my house. It was a complete tear off and there were skylights involved.

the reasons for my concerns were expained and after examining the roof he felt it would last another 1 to 3 years before replacement.. I was pleased with his knowledge and explanations. He will also follow up with a written proposal as to how much a new roof may cost in the future.

DO NOT USE THIS PROVIDER, OR ANGIE COUPONS, WITHOUT GETTING OTHER ESTIMATES!!! The Angie's List Deal is misleading and a ruse to get their salesman in the door. It states that "an average home costs $1,200 to $1,700 to insulate." I consider my 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath 1850 square foot home average, so anticipated an estimate somewhere in this range. (The coupon goes on to say "so buy up to two coupons for a total savings of $500!" This could potentially bring the cost down to $700 - $1200. Who wouldn't pass up a deal like this, after the brutal winter we had last year!) I did some research on home insulation before the salesman came so I could speak with some knowledge about R-ratings. The salesman started out by saying the Department of Energy's R-38 rating is "overkill" and he would give me R-19 and R-30 options that would serve my needs just as well and save me money. I hesitated to mention the coupon for fear that he would just jack up the price, but needed clarification on whether I could buy and use 2 coupons (since the "fine print" stated only 1 coupon per household.) He had to call the owner of the company, who confirmed I could only use 1 coupon for the job (but I could buy another one for another job. Who is looking to insulate 2 homes!?) Coupon issue aside, imagine my surprise when I got an email a couple of days later with estimates: R19=$2617, R30=$3142, R38=$3775 The email was 8 pages long. The first page had a picture of my house. The 2nd page quoted the prices above (but did not provide any detail on materials vs. labor or the square footage of the job.) The next 6 pages provided promotional materials about the 62 year history of the company, replete with pictures of mom and dad from the 1940's and the company's first truck. I wish they would have put as much effort into providing detail of what went in to their outrageous estimates! Needless to say I got other estimates, and the company I'm going with quoted: R19=$1665, R30=$1850, R38=$1995 Much more in line with my expectations! I'm going with the DOE recommended R38 "overkill" job that is over $600 less than Trela's R19 "money saving" estimate and $1780 less than their R38 estimate. Quite a difference! Shame on you, Angie, for compromising the integrity of your list by getting into the Groupon game.

Other than the provider contacting me within 3 days to obtain my phone number, I have not heard from them to schedule an appointment. If they are this non-responsive at the get-go, I cannot imagine that I would want to do business with them. Also, buyer beware.....If you are an Angies LIst basic member, they are not supposed to help you resolve your issue over the telephone. What a crock!! Am considering leaving Angies List altogether.
