Trela Roofing and Remodeling

The problem is not resolved and in fact, is now worse. Additionally they are now unresponsive to my attempts to reach them.

Again, no service were needed after inspection of the attic. I was told I had a sufficient amount of insulation. Therefore, I was refunded. He did however recommend I install another attic fan.

Very well. Rich was very nice and they went right to work and completed everything in a timely manner and no mess - tarps were almost clean! Wonderful!

After signing contract, did not hear from office (2 weeks) then get a call saying we will be there tomorrow. They workers went above and beyond the job requirements and did an outstanding job.

The visit went fine. I felt confident that their estimator knew what he was talking about and that he would get back to me with an estimate ASAP (he said he would email within the next couple of days). It has been more than two weeks now and I have received no emails or calls. I did call the company last Tuesday and Thursday to see about the estimate. Unfortunately, all calls go right to voicemail and I have not received a call back. Even my first call to them went to voicemail and then someone called me back to set up the appointment.. Highly disappointed and frustrated. So much for an A rating on Angies List!

Provider informed us that they do not service the Evanston area. They should probably revise their coverage area to say "portions of Cook County" to save people some time.

I have had Trela replace my roof a number of years ago and they have a reputation for their excellent work. I would use them again if and when the need arises.

They did a great job at adding gutters and down spouts. They were informative and personable. They also finished repairing our bay window by adding new shingles and replacing portions that were rotten.

Trela Roofing arrived earlier than expected and completed the work required meticulously. Trela also went beyond the expected work required to repair the wood trim around the roof to perfect specifications.

Planned and contracted for Fall, 2014 but winter set in delaying until spring. Held the price and arrived on scheduled start date, completed in three days, clean-up was perfect.

The person who arrived to do the estimate did not have a ladder, nor did he go up on the roof to assess the damage. He was more of a salesperson who likely assumed because I am a female that I would easily be sold by his description of my roof issues. I was aware of the approximate cost of a tear off versus overlaying a new roof because the previous roof was only 1 layer. He was only concerned with "selling" me a complete tear off. Luckily my mother had her roof recently redone by a very reputable company who sends someone out who will actually get up on the roof to visually inspect for damage, take pictures and show me the damage when he is back on the ground. I would never recommend Trela to anyone I know...EVER!
