I called and spoke with Tony Montoro about an estimate on another property I own for a complete Tear-off and Reroof. He responded quickly and arrived at that location the next day on time. The estimate was a great price. The crew arrived on time and was very professional and helpful. Tony kept me informed on the work progression. The crew did an excellent clean up job. In response to my review, they came to inspect and repaired for no additional charge. Looks good again and hopefully by this time next year ti will still look as good, at which time I will upgrade their review further. They apparently do truly care about customer satisfaction,.

Some of the shingles came off. They responded quickly to my phone call, but took a while to come back to fix it. They replaced the shingles with untreated wood so it’s an eyesore. I now have to get another contractor to stain those shingles.

I was waiting for a whole year to go by to make sure that it withstood the Chicago winter because we have some pretty rough winters. I have nothing but good vibrations for them. The guys came and did the work. They were just awesome. They even allowed me to keep the big dumpster an extra week, which I totally appreciated. My project manager's name was Tony; that just goes to show that I must really like them because I remember that. Usually we don’t remember unless there is an issue. Tony was awesome; he worked with me. The only thing I would say is that initially we almost did not use them, because when I compared, their price was more than everybody else's. When I called them on that, Tony came out and we talked about it. He was willing to work with it. By any stretch, he wasn’t the cheapest, but at least it wasn’t the highest. The one thing that really drew me to him is that his contract was not a fill-in the blank; it was tailored to my house. Everything was typed out. His contract became the standard of what I compared everyone else to, because I was able to see what all they were going to do versus some contracts where its more fill-in the blanks where the contractor checks off and says that they are going to do this and some things are written in. With Kerry Roofing, everything was just typed out. So that was huge for me. We were seriously considering going with them even with them being the highest priced only because of the way the contract was written. At least we got to see exactly what they were going to. Some of the other ones were a little vague. They were probably going to do the same thing, but because it wasn't spelled out; it's a lot of money no matter what. They had an awesome warranty. They had the best warranty of everyone else's. A year after the job is done, they are supposed to come back out and do another inspection to make sure that everything is still like it should be. I have nothing but praise for their guys. So far, I've not had any more leaking and no issues at all. I appreciated the work that they did. I would definitely do business with them again; hopefully it wouldn't be for another 20 years. But I would definitely use them again. With regard to quality, the roof is kind of a hard one to gauge. Unless it's leaking or literally falling apart, who goes up on their roof to inspect it. As of right now, we've had a good snow and the snow has started to melted. But I have not had any in-home leakage which I did have prior to them coming out. They did a really good job. The workers did what they were supposed to do.

On time and as promised. Did a great job cleaning up.

They sent 7-8 guys out to do the job and they got the job done in 3 days. The cleanup was good.

Tony provided a quote that evening. He was very responsive to my questions. I am still gathering quotes and researching my options, but this company may do the work. I'll review again if he gets my job.

It was horrible. Someone from the company came out on 7/10/14 and gave me an estimate to tear off a re-roof my garage and gutters. I was given an estimate with the gutters, and one estimate without the gutters, both in writing. The estimate including the gutters came out to $1,850. Another person from the company came out at a later date and told me that the previous estimate was completely inaccurate and that it would be $3,600, TWICE as much!

Tony was very helpful in giving us a prompt estimate. After we accepted his bid, he was even able to schedule the crew to arrive one day ahead of schedule and beat the snow fall which came the day they finished. The 6 men on George's crew worked hard from sun up until sun down until the job was completed. They cleaned up meticulously at the end of each work day. Our house has two stories and the top roof is pitched very steeply. The workers took lots of precautions to work safely during this job which made us feel better as we watched the entire process. The price Tony gave us was exactly what we paid at job's end. Our only reservation was that Kerry Roofing used IKO Cambridge shingles which were not very highly rated by Consumer Reports magazine but the job came with a Lifetime Warranty on materials and a 15 year labor warranty which should serve us well. I would definitely recommend Kerry Roofing and Masonry for any future jobs.

Very honest company. Pierce Power told me that we really did not need the entire house tuckpointed. They fixed the areas that needed fixing 20% of house and chimney and matched the cement beautifully. The workers were very responsive and communicative throughout the 2 day process. We were out of town when the work was done and they offered to communicate and photograph the work as we communicated via text and email.

The shingles on my roof were failing and I needed to have the roof replaced. I also wanted to go with a local company. I got 3 quotes, and Kerry was the lowest. That made me a little concerned at first, since I don't always trust the low bidder. However their reviews and recommendations were great, and when I talked with Tony he did a great job of explaining things to me, so I decided to go with him. We had a few delays because of the weather, but otherwise everything was on time. Tony was great about letting me know what was going on, when the crew would arrive, and all the details. Everyone on the crew was very professional and nice, and did their best to minimize any harm to the landscaping and the driveway. Despite having some unexpected issues crop up (as there always are!) Tony did not charge me any extra for anything. He even got some of the guys to paint the trim around the top edge of the roof when I asked him to! Everything came out great, and they cleaned everything up after themselves. Since they have a large crew that is used to working together, they got the entire project done in two days. I am very pleased with the results, and with the service they provided. I would definitely recommend Kerry to anyone who needs their roof done.

Pierce came very quickly to my house to give me an estimate -- I think one or two days after I sent them an email. I at first only wanted one corner redone, so he took a look and quoted me $550, which was $200 cheaper than another estimate I got. I then asked about another section, and he said that since they were coming out anyway and charging me for a day ($550), they could do that part in the same day for that price. I was pretty happy with this, as it was both less expensive and more comprehensive than the other company. The guy who came out did a really good job matching the brick and neatly filling in the mortar. It all looks really good, and I'll definitely use these guys again.

Project was completed in one day. From start to finish they were very professional. They did everything they said they would and we are very happy with the results. After researching this project Kerry had the best combination of price, quality and warranty.

It went great! Bobby, Mike and Brandon were fantastic. As mentioned earlier, our house is older and when built, the mortar used was dyed. These guys really went the extra mile to try and match the color as closely and possible. We were very happy with the color ? my husband couldn?t even tell what was old versus what was new. They also were very kind to tell us before they started that there would be a lot of dust, which was great so we could contact our neighbors and let them know to keep their windows closed for a bit. Once they got started, they encouraged us to get out and look to make sure nothing was missed. They also threw in some extras for us (at no additional cost) that we really appreciated such as caulking around the front porch stoop and additional crack repair. We were really happy with how they explained everything and they were extremely professional and very clean with their work.

First, ask to speak to Tony. He's professional and courteous and managed my job thru to the end. He'll go thru what he recommends you do. He provided options for me but ultimately it's your decision on what variables to include in any job. We chose a complete tear out which was not his first option. In other words they don't try to scare you into spending your kid's college education. His estimate was a square deal and his team foreman, Bobby (also professional and courteous) chiseled, ground out, resurfaced and installed a perfect floor for the new tile blocks he and his team installed. Many jobs can have hiccups and of course one of the many torrential rains this summer fell seconds after they'd gone for the day. When they returned to complete the job, Bobby saw what the rain had done and without hesitation sawed out half of what he installed and reinstalled it perfectly and without question. They left the job site as clean as I expected it, and I happily paid the bill the next day. These guys are great.

We called got an estimate the next day, left clear messages for cost and work to be performed. Sent a contract over email, which we looked over, returned and scheduled the same week. I took off work it was raining that day but still work went on. They completed chimney in one day, it had been hit by lightening and fell apart. Workers were courteous, informative, answered questions. They had supervised working throughout day overlooking the job. Very experienced and qualified workers. Very pleased, will use again and will recommend. This was a rental property and workers worked very well independently and within schedule.

Well, let me start by saying that as an investor and a rehabber of distress property I personally seek the five things in which Angie's List requires in her own rating request. Punctuality, Responsiveness, Professionalism, Quality of Services and most of all fair trade value, the Cost. I find Kerry's Masonry and Roofing Contractor to process all the above attributes, their crew chief and crew arrived on time and begin the work immediately on replacing my roof. I like their clean as they work policy and the attention to the job at hand. The foreman was very courteous and professional he address all my concerns to my satisfaction. What I really liked the job was completed on time as stated and the quality of workmanship. I had the Deal refunded because when he came to give me an estimate I found the Deal didn’t coincide with what I needed. He provided an estimate that was high, about $6,000, for the suggested work to tear off and replace a section of the shingle roof primarily. The scheduled appointment was rescheduled multiple times. While the person who came out was friendly, I felt more comfortable and confident with a different company I am probably going to end up going with who has told me exactly why I have the leak, how to take care of it and has given me a more accurate assessement of the roof which takes into account my future plans for our home.

I just wanted an estimate on a new roof, or to see if the existing roof could be repaired with this deal. I made a few attempts to schedule an appointment, but they did not show up or call me back. I worked from home on a few occasions to accommodate. It's been almost 4 months since I purchased this deal, with no attempts from Kerry roofing to contact me. I ended up getting a new roof from another company. So, I'd just like a refund. I've heard very good things about Kerry tuck pointing, however I'm not so sure about the roofing services they provide.

Responded to request promptly. Gave me an estimate quickly on the weekend. Performed the work on Thursday. Crew was great. Work looks good.

They were excellent! Jim was very knowledgeable, but he was not hard sell. When he assessed the condition of our roof and windows, he discussed a variety of possible solutions from the most cost-effective to the more elaborate. He was very accommodating. Jim included our Angie's list discount right in the proposal, and considering the work to be done, we thought the price was very fair (we did get other estimates). The work was done in 2 days. The team arrived at 7:00 each day and got right to work. They were very efficient, polite, and tried to be as non-invasive as possible. They worked straight through to 5:30 or 6:00 both days. Clean-up was immaculate. The roof and windows look beautiful! This is a top-notch, very professional business. I would hire them again if I needed any masonry or roof work done. Highly recommended!

Jim Anderson was very professional. He gave me an estimate and completed the work without me having to be home. He also provided before and after pictures, since the damage was not visible from the street. I thought the price was very reasonable, and I appreciated his honesty. Unlike the first provider I contacted, who tried to sell me a completely new roof without even inspecting my home. I thank my neighbor for alerting me that there was a problem, and for referring me to Angie's list.

The crew foremen was friendly, courteous and very professional the crew put in a full days work and completed the job on time as promised and did a great job cleaning up when they were finish. Well I founded KMR to be an exceptional contractor their crew was focused on their work and didn't waste my time which made me very happy we all know that time is money.
