Kerry Masonry & Roofing

Went with Kerry roofing to replace the leaking roof and leaking chimney on my mom's house. The chimney repair went great. They redid the entire top, installed a new liner, and tuck-pointed a good portion of the wall on the house around the chimney which was in also in need of repair. No more leaking chimney! The roof didn't go quite as well as the chimney work. The actual work was done on schedule but there were issues with it after they were done. But Tony was more than happy to get things fixed. Twice I called about somethings I saw that didn't look right and he was able to answer my questions (I'm not a roofing expert, was just comparing to other roofs) and then had a guy out to fix things when he determined that yes it wasn't done right. I realize this was a complicated roof, with many steep gables, but would expect an established roofing company to be able to handle the job, so was a bit disappointed there. But I appreciate that Tony is always a phone call away and able to answer my questions and send someone out if needed. They stand by their work.

Outstanding experience from start to finish! Ramiro was very good to work. He responded to questions in a very timely manner and was onsite with the crew on "demolition" day. The crew worked efficiently and effectively. Someone was assigned to clean-up through the day to avoid massive cleanup at the end of the day. My new roof looks wonderful. Ramiro and Tony made the process stress-free. I highly recommend this company!

When Corey and Ben arrived, they immediately reviewed the work that was needed, set up their equipment and began the tuckpointing. Our admiration for their meticulous work along with the fact that they were professional, courteous, informative, conscientious of the surroundings and clean up could not be more appreciated! We would glady recommend Corey, Ben and KM Kerry Masonry to anyone who needed masonry work.

Owner Pierce Power came out for initial review of scope of work. Project manager, Tony, was available to answer the various questions I had prior to giving OK to have work done. Angel did all the grind out and mortar application while Sava kept mixing the perfect consistency of mortar. The guys are hard workers and the end-result looks great. The following day the roofing crew, led by Ramiro, did the tear off and reshingling. Roof looks great. We haven’t had a big rainstorm yet, although I will update this review if there are any performance issues. One of the reasons I went with Kerry is that the company is licensed and insured, as I checked.

Kerry Masonry's owner, Pierce, was immediate in his response to us. The crew that we had, consisting of Marc, Brant, Antonio and Ben were phenomenal not only in their expertise and detail to our project, but in their demeanor and willingness to answer our questions. Our project was completed expertly and cleanup was cleaner than before the project started! Our neighbor asked for a recommendation and our son is in need of tuckpointing for his house, so we will, of course, recommend Kerry. Thank you so much! A++

I wanted to write a highly positive review for Kerry Roofing & Masonry located at 2740 W 94th St, Evergreen Park, IL 60805. I want to give this company my highest recommendation possible. This is the second job I have had this company do for me. The first was a repair job done on my chimney in 2019. The job from initial contact through job completion was handled quickly and professionally. In fact I think the owner came to do the initial estimate for my project. The entire team was focused on customer satisfaction and they all went above and beyond the scope of the project. Unlike other companies, the folks at Kerry Roofing & Masonry were responsive, polite, courteous and eager to do the job for me. There were no excuses about what could and could not be done, they took the time to explain what the problem was and why it was done wrong if applicable, and they explained what they were going to do differently and correctly. They did not do a pressure sales pitch to try and drum up more business nor did they skimp on the work performed. Their prices were competitive and the workmanship was great. They did exactly what they said they would do and what they were asked to do. They kept me informed on any changes in the schedule and lived up to their word. Any items that were of concern were immediately brought to my attention. The work was done quickly and the clean up was done very well. The second job, (done in 2021), they did for me was done in the same professional manner. They replaced my roof and it looks great. In fact I have another project I want them to do for me when the time is right. Simply put this company made me feel like they were there for my best interest and not out to bilk me out of any money. Highly professional, crew worked fast and efficiently, brought in great selection of high quality materials to choose from. Kerry’s kept us in the loop at every step of the process. Kerry’s crew stripped and replaced our roof in a single day. The gutter soffit and fascia took a few days as expected. We have no reservations recommending them for any of your roofing needs.

The owner came, looked at it, and said that it really was fine and explained what the issue was. It is functionally strong and it is sound. That was the worry. Responsive, fair & honest. Greatly appreciated.

Tony was very prompt with a quote and then when we decided to go with Kerry he called back quickly to set up a time to do the work. The work was completed on time as promised. Everything was cleaned up afterwards and new chimney looks great.

They treated me unfairly. They promise a proposal and never got back to me. When I called them back. They said they were busy until December of 2020. If they didn't wanted to do the work. They should've been honest with me. I choose them, because they had an A rating on Angieslist. Bad business practice

What an amazing experience - A++. Kerry really goes the extra mile. Right from the start they were responsive and timely. Met my daughter to provide a quote and stopped by a few days later for an introduction and one on one time to follow up. Stayed in contact while we waited for our start date. The workers showed up bright and early and worked till the job was done. The final product looked outstanding. Came by day 2 for a walk through and thouch up a few things that they were not hired for. Clean up was nicely done, not a nail left on the property. Dumpster out of the drive the next day, like they were never there. They really know their stuff and you definitely feel you get your moneys worth. Great to work with a contractor like this, would recommend for sure. Thank you Kerry Masonry for the beautiful outcome.

They did a very good job re-roofing my house. They removed the shingles, replaced damaged underlayment, reframed an eve so the roof would lay flat, and re-shingled it. They also installed gutter apron. Tony was very good to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

Kerry Masonry and Roofing is as close to perfection as you can get. It is because of the people, the quality, and the price. Tony, the project manager, is fabulous. He makes the job seamless and worry-free. The team of craftsmen headed by Lorenzo, Christian, and Mario were magnificent. The team went way above my expectations. Tony, the project manager, came out promptly and gave us an impressive quote that was within our budget. From start to finish, Tony's communication and support were impeccable. Two highly skilled craftsmen, John and Corey, completed the work. They were specatular. They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and meticulous. Both men went above and beyond. Kerry did an amazing thorough job rebuilding the top portion of my chimney. The tuck pointed whole chimney and replaced cap. They cleaned up everything afterwards including my gutters. Will hire again.

The workers were very professional, explained exactly what they were going to be completing, cleaned up all debris, dust etc. Left my yard in great condition after completion they asked me to look at the work and that it was to my satisfaction which it was a great job completed. Spoke with Jim on October 16th who told me he would come out to my house the following Wednesday or Thursday for an estimate to replace my roof. He never showed up or called me back.

Excellent! Jim Anderson was terrific to work with. Jim and the crew were very professional, they worked hard and did the job extremely well. Christian made sure everything was done right. I am very impressed by their work and recommend them highly. It's refreshing to see a company take pride in what they do!

I work with contractors all the time in my job, and deal with all kinds of issues with contractors on a regular basis. That being said, these guys are awesome. They are organized, polite and easy to work with. Tony is extremely responsive and stands behind his word. They clean up after themselves everyday and are very approachable. Typically it is awkward to have contractors onsite, but not these guys. They greeted us when they saw us and took time out to answer questions, etc. There were no surprises on pricing or a scope creep. Highly recommend this company. We are a 6 unit condo with 6 owners and keeping 6 owners happy with a contractor is no easy task, but these guys kept everyone happy and the project has gone smoothly.

The estimated time to complete the job was 2 days and it was actually completed in 1 day. The team arrived early, got right to work and did an excellent job. The Project Manager was very patient, knowledgeable and responsive to our concerns. He responded quickly when called and sent a person over to look at the work that needed to be done on the first day that I called. I believe that the quality of work was worth the price. We were given a warranty with the job, a 12 month re-inspection and the warranty is transferable to a new owner. I highly recommend this company. I got 3 estimates for the work provided and their estimate was in line with others. They also had all of their permits and provided me with a pamphlet on "Home Repair" "Know Your Consumer Rights". When I checked with the Village to find out who had permits, they were the only company who had all of their paperwork on file and up to date.

After the frigid winter, the shingles on my 5-year new roof were popped up. Tony sent his worker George to inspect the condition of the shingle. George did a thorough job explaining what needed to get done. He said to call them back a month later when the weather was warmer to do the job. A month later, Tony spent time refreshing on the discussion of the work scope. His knowledge and professionalism were great. For Tony to take a long discussion on Easter Friday evening was truly and greatly appreciated. The job will start a week later.

Well. My fascade joints were replaced and the correct color was used. Everyone on the job was great to work with.

Called for a quote and Tony was in the area and came right over. Tony gave quote and stated that his crew would be able to start the following week. Two days before Tony called and said crew would be their Thursday at 7:30am. Crew promptly arrived at 7:30am and met with James and Mike went over work to be done. Tom and Mike arrived introduced themselves jumped right into work. Can not say how polite and courteous everyone was. Any questions I asked were fully answered and explained to me. Kerry Masonry Inc. crew did a great job and I Highly Recommend them!

Work proceeded within a few days of estimate. Crew arrived on time as promised and even finished earlier than expected. Very professional and friendly. Highly recommend and would hire again.

The job went extremely well. I was filled with so much anxiety about this job bcause of past experiences with other contractors. My building is 125 years old. Three story walkup. It had old rolled roofing and orginal wood underneath. I knew it was a big dirty expensive job. My roofing material was blowing off with every wind or rain event. It had to be redone. I contact 5 roofing contractors. All but one was from Angies list. All did excellent work and pricing was competitive. I went with Kerry because it was on southside of city and because a TONY. He was so thorough. He explained the process, type of material, breakdown of cost and expenses. I felt like I was not paying for something I did not need or something I would not get. He was so responsive. It was his complete ability to discuss openly about the job. Not just give me a quote for the job. This job was HUGE. Lots of debris inside my attic even with tarps. His workers cleaned everyday. 3 days after the job began, it was over everything was perfect. I get so many compliments. I would highly recommend Kerry's Masonry and roofing in a second.
