Kerry Masonry & Roofing

It went very well, Tony from Kerry Masonry was great and very knowlegeable, and informative. he gave a lot of good advice and suggestions. Any future work that I need done on my roof or masonry, I'll be calling Kerry Masonry and Roofing first,and I will also tell all my friends and family about them! The workers were there on time and did an excellent job in a timely fashion

Unfortunately, Kerry blew us off. We had an appointment set with him to come out on Saturday afternoon. The prior Thursday, I was in my home office on a conference call when I saw the Kerry truck pull up in front of our house, even though he wasn't set to come out until two days later. I couldn't rush down to talk to him (again, was on a conference call) but I did watch him walk around the front yard and take pictures of the house. Two minutes later, he left without trying to knock on the door or speak to anyone. Saturday afternoon comes and we wait for him to show up at the scheduled time of 1p, but hours go by and he doesn't come. We called and left messages, wondering where they were, but nobody called back or answered. It was actually one of the first nice weekend days to come around, but we unfortunately spent the whole day at our house instead of out doing things we wanted to do because we thought the man was going to show up. On Monday, I was still pretty upset about our Saturday afternoon being wasted so I called Kerry to find out what was up. The man I talked to, after I asked why they didn't show up, said, "Oh I was there! I have pictures and I was going to email you an estimate" That was also his reasoning for why he didn't come out on Saturday. I explained that we were pretty upset that he didn't even call to at least cancel the previously set appointment and instead wasted our Saturday afternoon, and that by only looking at the chimney roof part, he didn't even see the parts that we needed to have worked on. He offered to come out again the next day to look at the interior portions but I decided not to take him up on it. I feel that if they don't even have the courtesy to call and cancel an appointment they didn't think was necessary, how can I trust them to do good work on what has turned out to be a $5-7k job.

I think they were unprofessional upfront about the timliness of the appraisal. Repeated delays and I was not always informed of that.

He did a really good job. He has been back two different years. I think he is really good and he supervises his men well. The price is good. He is definitely in the “A” category and is reliable, easy to work with. He supervises his men really well as he comes back and looks at the work. I would get him again this year for some other work. Before I settled with him I called some other people who came out and gave me estimates but I thought that his price was better than anybody else who came out and gave me estimates.

Quoted several prices based on type of service. I got a good feeling from them but I received a better quote

I was told they no longer do concrete work. However, he said he would call me back with the number of person that does this kind of work. He promptly called back with the information. That's what I call good service.

They were very prompt in completing the work and we have not had any additional problems. We were very impressed by them!

Lot of miscommunication in the beginning and couple bumps along the way with them not communicating with me what was going on and when things were going to start and stop and restart. Because of all work involved and there different groups of workers that did the different work project went started later then i wanted it to and on longer then i wanted it to. but when all was done and along the way everything was done...

Tony the project manager was very knowledgeable and professional. His crew was courteous and did a great job cleaning up after the work. I felt the price was fair, considering some of the other estimates I received. They completed the work on time and in one day. They did a great job and I am satisfied with their work. I highly recommend them.

Still waiting for him to come back.

The experience was so so. They were slightly more reliable than other contractors that I've used. I have noticed some quality issues. I would recommend shopping around to compare. The roofing was a couple of hundred bucks and the step repairs was $2,000. ***After discussion with contractor, they agreed to come back and replace the skimcoat free of charge.

Sales person named Jack was also very good to work with. I would give this company an A+ and would recommend them to others.

They were very nice. Their quote was competitive, we just decided not to go ahead with it. The guy who gave the quote was great. He was knowledgeable. It was an unusual problem and he had no problem with it.

Made a an estimate to re-roof my residence. After receiving 2 other bids. went with another company as bid was slightly higher than the company I went with but was second of the three. Was professional and informative.

They were very professional, they arrived on time for both the estimate and when they did the work. They were helpful and answered all our questions and continued explaining until we fully understood what would be done and how it would be done.The work has held up well during this horrible winter of 2014. We are very pleased and will use them again.

They came out and evaluated. They answered my questions. We decided to hold off the project for now. They provided a detailed quote, which included clean-up. I might use them.

Pierce came out to inspect every day. The cost was exactly what he quoted. He came back twice after the job was done to make sure it was dry and I was happy. I thought there was a leak on the side of the house so he sealed half the driveway for free. He replaced a hose reel that accidentally was damaged at his expense. This is the guy for you!!!!

We decided that the gutter work was not totally necessary. We just did the work ourselves. They came out on time.

Went very well. Excellent job. The price was high due to delivery cost of cement for small projects but this was common info in all estimates we received.

The first thing I noticed was the great response time from Jack at Kerry Masonry. He returned all calls promptly (usually within the hour). It took a couple of weeks to get the windows built but Jack stayed in contact to let me know how the process moved along. On the day of the install the workers cleaned up after themselves and were very quick. I've got one more glass block repair and some tuckpointing to attend to this spring and Kerry will be my first call again.

I was very pleased with them. It had rained after they poured the concrete and I wasn't happy with the way it had turned out. They came out right away and fixed it quickly for me.

They gave an estimate around $2200 to $2400. They were reliable. They were much lower than the estimates I got from other companies.

The salesman was very personable,and I am looking forward to them doing the job.

Excellent! Contacted Kerry Masonry and they scheduled an assessment immediately. A team came out and worked together to make all the repairs. They were prompt, clean and courteous.

From the start they were as concerned as I was about the front of the garage collasping so they immeidately secured it as I expected. The work was completed in the 7 day frame which was discussed and they went above-board to clean up the unavoidable mess left by brick dust. The work looks good! All of the people I had contact with at Kerry were professional and courteous. My neighbor is now using Kerry's services for similar repairs.
