Kerry Masonry & Roofing

No call, no show twice. I spoke to Tony on a Weds to set up an appointment for the following Monday at 12:30PM. On Monday at 2:30, I still hadn't heard from him, so I called. He said that he was injured on a job, something about a bee sting, and that he had put me at the wrong time (or maybe he forgot to write down the appointment, it really wasn't clear).. .BUT he would be in the area tomorrow (Tuesday) around 2:30. Nobody is perfect, and mistakes happen so I agreed. Again, no show. I wasted my time waiting around without even the courtesy of a call to cancel. Very disappointing and I will certainly not waste any more time with these guys.

1 of our chimney has serious deterioration, and required 4 layers of brick to be tuckpointed. Additionally, the second chimney was in need of a new cap. They arrived early and got right to work. While they were working on my chimney, I asked them to inspect my roof, and they advised that I had a couple of more years to go with it. Additionally, the team offered to look around other places in the exterior that might need tuckpointing, and applied it. Great value for the service.

Good guy. But, it was clear I am not a good fit for them.

It turned out really well. Bobby and Mike really were great. They did a couple of things that they saw that wasn’t really included. So they really went the extra mile to make sure that everything went very smoothly. I told him the things that I wanted and he gave me the proposal estimate price. Bobby and Mike came out and when they got on top of the roof and looked at the chimney, it needed more work than what they originally had in mind when they made the estimate. They actually did everything that they thought needed to be done whether it was included in the estimate or not. They made sure that I was a very satisfied customer. I think they were just a little bit high.

I have tried to get an deal done with the supplier 2 different times and their additional prices area just too high. The prices are just too high in comparison to other companies. The guy is very nice and professional but I just couldn't justify cost.

We hired Kerry Masonry to replace copper flashing and warped wood siding, and had found them on Angie's List. Pierce was a consummate professional, explaining to us what needed to be done, as well as what was in good condition and didn't need to be worked on. There was a little bit of a delay for the crew to get started (some guys had a travel conflict) but overall the work was done very well and has a lifetime guarantee. We will be hiring Kerry Masonry to do tuckpointing work in the near future, and will also reach out to them for some tuckpointing and foundation work on another property.

KM Kerry Roofing and Masonry did an excellent job repairing the flashing on my roof. Tony, the project manager is friendly and answered every question I asked him. The workers did their best to fix the problem and will go an extra mile if needed. Highly recommended and deserves an A+++.

They were great with communication at first and the price was fair but we are now having issues not even 6 months later. The concrete repair is chipping away and the front steps look worse then before the repair. We have contacted them about the messy tuck pointing and the poor repair of the steps. They said they'd return in the spring. We are still waiting.

Kerry Masonry did a good job. They do their work, they clean up after themselves and I like the finished product. Their pricing is fair. They are very punctual and professional. I will use their services again.

Although there were quite some challenges to get this work done (get the ladder on the roof and then in the narrow and very deep light well, as well as bring the bricks and mortar to the work spot, down in the bottom of the well), Bob and his team were not shy to climb up and down and work in uncomfortable conditions. I was very impressed by their efficiency. Thank you.

I had some plumbing work done and had torn out some drywall for access. Noticed a small leak near vent stack. Purchased the $99 coupon to inspect, caulk chimney, nail down any loose shingles. Had to reschedule inspection twice. When he came, he did not even go up on the roof. Said he knew exactly what the problem was and cost would be $350 on top of the $99. Had to reschedule actual work twice. The leak was fixed, and the price was affordable, so their work is ok. Didn't seem to get much for the $99 coupon though. Next time I would go with someone more local.

I called Kerry Masonry & Roofing this morning when I realized I had a roof leak. I was told that someone would be out to examine the roof this afternoon. Tony and Andy arrived at 12:30 pm. When Andy got up on the roof he found the cause of the leak to be missing shingles. Knowing that more rain was predicted Tony replaced the missing shingles with some that he had in his truck. Tony said he would try and get some shingles that matched the color of the shingles on my roof. He would then replace the ones he had just put down with the correct color shingles . I also showed Tony some cracks at the base of the chimney.Tony examined them and also pointed out some other problems with the bottom of the chimney. He told me that he would be able to fix the problems and we set up a date for the work to be done. So far it had been a very positive experience. They were quick to respond to my needs and solved the problem temporarily to prevent any further damage. I will definitely call this company again for any masonry/roofing work.

They did more than I anticepated.

Tony the foreman was excellent. All workers were professional and addressed all my concerns. I am extremely happy with how the roof looks and especially with the clean up. Everything went on schedule and as promised

I called for an estimate for roof repair (2 missing shingles) and masonry work. Well, I am exceedingly happy because Tony came out the same day I called, inspected the roof and replaced the 2 missing shingles for FREE!!!!! I had called another company for an estimate and the salesman said they only do complete roofs. I found it had to believe that I would have to pay thousands of dollars for a complete new roof just to replace 2 missing shingles!! I joined Angie's list on Monday and 2 days later my roof has been repaired....I'm going to say it again for FREE!!! I really appreciate the kindness and prompt attention to my problem. I will definitely refer my friends and neighbors to Kerry for their roofing work. I can't thank you enough for repairing my roof - especially since rain has been forecasted for a few days!!!

Kerry was great. He came out as scheduled for an inspection prior to performing the work. He was always prompt and responsive. On the day of the job, Kerry and his crew arrived on time, began working immediately, and finished the entire job in less than a day. My chimney is now stable and looks great!

I called for an estimate and Pierce came the next day. He completed the work that week. He even fixed some spot's I did not initially see. No hidden fees's or up charges. He did a great job!

The workers who completed the masonry work were very professional and helpful. We were not home when the chimney work was done and cannot comment. We asked that they contact us regarding additional work on our home, but to date, have not heard from them.

Pierce came out and gave me a reasonable, fair estimate for the job. Moses the mason came to the house on time and did a great job plus did work Pierce noticed that we did not even discuss but needed to be done. I am extremely happy with Kerry Masonry and Roofing and would recommend this business to anyone who needs these types of services performed.

last summer we called them to check our roof due to concerns, when the man showed up, hours later than expected, he said what needed to be done, seemed reasonable, asked about cost and scheduling, he mumbled $400 and said call office, we did and no reply, we left the issue bc it was difficult getting any roofer to price and do the work, this spring after having an actual leak come into the house we called them again and said we wanted the work done, needed the roof repaired, they said would call back and i never heard from them again. we gave up with this company, though the man seemed knowledgable

Bob and Mike were great. They were on time and walked me through the repairs step by step. They didn't even give me too hard of a time for attempting a part of the repair myself. They left me satisfied with a clean site and a job we'll done. They also gave me pointers for things to keep an eye on when the roofers visit later this week.

The experience was a pleasant one. Weather necessitated a few schedule changes but they were very communicative and responsive to my phone calls. They came out and took a look a at the chimney on a Tuesday and the work was scheduled a few days later. They arrived early that morning and worked for much of the day completing the job. After the work was completed they walked me through the process and showed me pictures of the finished product.

We set up an appointment for an estimate and Pierce was quite prompt and professional. Bobby and his crew showed up about 15 minutes early on the date we had agreed upon. He walked us around the house to make sure he knew where all the spots were that needed work. He kept us informed throughout the time they were here. When the crew was finished he did a final inspection with us and even pointed out some things that we might want to do (more like friendly advice, since it was not related to tuckpointing) which was appreciated. They cleaned up everything when they were done and the only things they left were the improvements they made. We are quite happy with the work and would not hesitate to use them again.

Work has not been scheduled as of yet. I do plan on using them when the work begins.

Super impressed with these guys! They showed up 1/2 hr early and worked all day in rather blustery conditions. I say all day, when i got home they were just finishing up, took me on a walk-through to get my approval. Very professional and courteous, will definitely use them again!
