Description of Work: Family Waterproofing was hired to replace the foundation drain on a portion of our homes foundation that was leaking extensively. Rob and his team came out and started by putting down a heavy plastic tarp to protect the lawn. Then they dug down to the footings, removed the old clay tile and installed a new heavy duty plastic drain tile and covered it with river rock. They also sealed the foundation wall with a rubberized coating which is protected by drainage board. They filled in the hole and cleaned up the site. Because they put down the plastic tarp, the lawn was in a little yellow but in perfect shape when they finished. During the process, Rob explained what they were doing, updated me on the project timeline and asked me to witness several tests that they performed during the project. I would them again without hesitation.

Description of Work: I had some waterproofing work done in the crawl space. The final price was exactly as quoted. The workers were very friendly and explained what they would be doing each step of the way. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Inspected and repaired leaking foundation cracks. Were very punctual and exceptional in communicating what they saw, what the solutions were, and how they would fix them. Also made a point of doing extra testing to ensure that the solution would indeed solve the issue instead of simply adding work to the opportunity. Actually came out on a Sunday to complete the work. Have not had a single drop since after having water present nearly nonstop for a year. Extremely professional, friendly, and competent. Would absolutely recommend.

Description of Work: I called Family Solutions about an apparent leaking basement. I had partial flooding in the basement. Ken from Family came out and ran a series of tests on the basement walls and floor. It took him approximately 90 minutes. His conclusion was that neither the walls nor the floor were leaking. He thought the source of water was from the chimney. Looked to him to be a possible case of tuckpointing. He did not charge for his analysis. Ken also said that if the problem was below ground level, he could come back and reexamine the foundation. I later called a tuckpointer. Thanks to Ken and Family Waterproofing Solutions. Description of Work: He analyzed our wet basement problem and presented potential solutions. The first level was to install a new sump pump, and go from there. A year later, we have had no basement water issues and no further work has been necessary. Would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Installed a new drain from window well that was essentially spliced into my existing drain tile in basement floor. Also repaired a foundation crack. Ken, Maria and his techs were terrific through the entire process, from start to finish. They have a good formula going, keep it up. Anybody looking for drainage solutions should at the very least call this group.

Description of Work: They discovered we needed a new sump pump. They were really good. They were honest. Anyone could have taken advantage of the situation and said we needed more work, but they were honest.

Description of Work: We had a crack in our basement that had water constantly leaking onto the floor and damaging the cabinets and carpet. Ken was amazing, he quoted a price and that's what it cost; even though he had to come out several times to complete the job. He also came out just to make sure the solution had worked after a heavy rain. He saved us money by trying an inside solution first rather than some of the other estimates we got that said, have to dig from the outside. We would highly recommend them, great ethics and really seem to care about solving our problem!

Description of Work: Family Waterproofing Solutions put in a system that went into the sump pump that would set off the alarm if the pump didn't kick in. It's like an emergency back up system.
