They did a good a job.

Nick is an affable Aussie who is passionate about his work. We have had this work done several times; each time, the grout yellows quickly - particularly in the steam shower. So far, so good. Things look as bright and clean as the day he completed the work. Nick is a busy, one-man business. But once he's on the job, he's the best.

He is a very nice guy and did great work.

I thought that the work was well done. He was a really nice guy to deal with. He started the job quickly and stayed committed to a time and finished it. There were a lot of follow-ups to be done and fix a few things, and we had to call him for a number of times. He was apologetic when he did come, and he finished the job soon. I had to make three to four calls for him to respond.

What began as a positive experience with Nick Lawson ended badly. Originally we consulted with Nick to repair a shower floor that had developed a leak. We ended up hiring him to re-tile a second shower as well. He did all the work himself except for the installation of the toilet, where he brought in two plumbers. His work hours were not conventional--sometimes he would show up late in the afternoon and work into the evening. This didn't really bother me. But then his behavior became more erratic. Toward the end of the job he was working late into the evening and then discovered that the caulk, which was out in his truck, had frozen (it was December). So he was unable to finish the job that night, and he was about to leave for vacation the next day. We agreed he could finish it when he came back,though it meant my bathroom would be unusable while he was on vacation. He never came back to finish the job, though I had (foolishly) paid him him full.

Nick was prompt, friendly and thorough from start to finish. He was clear in telling us what the work would entail. He offered to come back after I have some tub work done to ensure the recaulking is done properly.

Nick responded that day after I left a message with his office. Arranged for a meeting, quoted price on site. Arranged for the following week for work. Came on time each time. Did work in time he estimated. I never did get a written quote, but I wasn't too worried. Gave good care instructions for afterwards. No problems since. Thanks!

Initially contacted this vendor to re-grout and re-seal a shower with marble tiles. When Nick, the owner of the company, came to provide the estimate he showed us where we had some long term leaking under the tiles. We decided to go ahead and have the problem spot fixed (the step into the shower was dismantled and rebuilt) along with the cosmetic re-grout and re-seal. Nick was both prompt and professional.

Nick did outstanding work. I was very pleased with how everything turned out. My only complaint was that, while he was on time when he came, he postponed dates he had made in advance. What should have taken 3-4 days (in my opinion) took two weeks.And he didn't come at all the last day to finish some minor things. For this reason, I would have to think twice about hiring him again.

Nick is fantastic -- recommend him highly. I communicated to him poorly about some caulking and retiling I wanted done around a mirrored area and when I saw it wasn't done the way it should have been (again, my fault) he came back promptly and addressed the issue at no extra charge. Great guy -- give him your business!!

Nick was excellent. He came for a consult within 15 minutes of calling and the next day did the work. He diagnosed the problem, completed the job quickly, and was fair-priced.

The service was wonderful - and the end product was better than we imagined. . .it's like a brand new shower - something we never thought would happen. Better yet, the shower is easy to clean - and has remained like new! We definitely recommend Shower Repair LLC.

Nick cleaned out my old grout and silicone seal on one short visit. When everything was dry, he returned and regrouted and sealed all joints. Left everything clean.
