Description of Work: The alarm system I purchased has never worked as advertised. Support is horrible, not even available on Sundays or after 8pm on Saturdays. I am returning system.

Description of Work: No long term contract required with LiveWatch. LiveWatch is 12 months with the option after 12 months to cancel at no penalty. The plan I chose is around $34 a month which includes smart phone access. Plus central Station monitoring with dedicated cellular connection plus ability to incorporate home automation. Checked all the boxes for me and they regularly have specials on their "IQ" panel for $99 (normally north of $400). Alot of the other companies out there want a 24 month or longer commitment with steep penalties if cancelled early. Friendly customer service & technicians as well.

Description of Work: I signed up for monthly monitoring service with LiveWatch. I had looked into several other home security companies and spoke with two others on the phone. LiveWatch was the cheapest and also least pushy of all of them. They did not try to up sell me beyond what I really needed. They also had the most flexible contract terms - only 1 year instead of 3 years which many other companies required. After 1 year, I go to month to month and if I stop, I get to keep the equipment. I felt like all of the service terms were very clear and their customer service was great. | |The equipment set up was very easy to set up. It took me about 15 minutes to set up and then there is maybe a 20 minute call with a service technician. I've had a couple of false alarms since the service went active and the response times seem pretty good. Very quickly I start to receive emails and text messages and phone calls about the alarm to confirm if legit or not. So far, I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: Chose this service because of the very reasonable per month expense for monitoring. Equipment is top-notch Zwave compatible. No problems installing the system and having Livewatch activate it.

Description of Work: We like the monitoring app but this is not theirs (they contracted their cell phone app with alarm.com). Their monitoring service is also outsourced and they distribute products (motion sensors, door sensors, ...) from GE and another vendor. Finally, the items they shipped are tricky to install and their only recommendation was to drill my door. It seems like Livewatch is just a patchwork of many subcontractors under one biller. Not sure what's best but not fully happy so far. Let's give it time.

Description of Work: LiveWatch was very responsive to my questions on their equipment and services. I talked to several people via online chat and all were very helpful. Talking to them on the phone went well, too. The order and setup was painless.

Description of Work: They walked me through my needs over the phone and helped me pick the components that would work best for my situation. There were less expensive options with other companies but I felt that these guys would do a better job.I like the text chat option to resolve a pending alarm and it is really easy to arm and dis-arm the system with my phone. My garage was broken into recently, triggering the motion sensor, and I was emailed immediately. I've been really satisfied so far.

Description of Work: Installation is done remotely. We changed from ADT and were able to use all of our previously purchased window and door products. We are very happy with the system and the ability to remotely access it anytime/anywhere. ADT was going to charge >50/mo (when I checked about an upgraded plan) for a lesser service plan and no one even contacted me after I called to cancel 30 days in advance.

Description of Work: Good Company. We had another system which was more expensive and gave us less equipment. We are quite satisfied with their service.

Description of Work: They mailed us the equipment which we installed, then called at a prearranged time for a walk through and to be certain we had all questions answered. We were a little disappointed that the control panel had difficulty reading the shop sensor that is just about 100 feet away but to be fair the rep did say it would be good to 100 feet and not more. Also, the touch screen is not as responsive as I would like but I will probably get used to it. Everyone we dealt with was very attentive and professional and not at all pushy which is a big reason we went with them over other similar companies. We also liked the generous cancellation policy.

Description of Work: This is a DIY set-up system, so company contacts are all by phone/Email. Exceptional (and patient) help comes from techs willing to spend phone time to help with set up, go through tests, practice, etc. Usually not immediately available, but quick to return calls plus follow-up calls/emails. Monthly price-$39.95- not bad for custom setup. Basic service can be had for less. System is easy to set up although I depended on my tech savvy son to help. The first touch screen panel had a problem picking up wireless signals during initial installation, but company did immediate no-cost exchange and have had no problem with second panel) Alarm works properly and calls to monitoring service when false alarms sounded (improper code entry) found helpful, efficient personnel at the monitoring station. Only downside for me has been shortage of tech staff on weekends when I wanted additional information; company says it is now in process of adding staff. Overall, equipment and service so far have been quite satisfactory.
