Worked incredibly efficiently and carefully. Did a great job cleaning up around the house - we have two small children and I feared misc roofing nails &/or shingle scraps, but there were none to be found. One of the roof vent got dinged in installation and rather than installing in anyway and hope we wouldn't notice the foreman came back first thing the next morning and replaced it himself. We didn't get several estimates as they came so highly recommended, so I'm not certain how we did on price, but it looks great and I'm sure the quality and efficiency were factored into the price. Had a scheduling issue with the gutter crew (separate from roofing crew), but when they arrived they worked very quickly. Ice seems to have popped a few of the screws loose around the brackets securing the downspouts.

Hanson responded to my request for a quote in a timely manner. After I chose to have Hanson do the job, I went to the Hanson office in Evanston and picked up a selection of sample tiles. The office staff and were very welcoming. The work was scheduled quickly. While Hanson was preparing the roof to be repaired, we decided we needed the space to be vented. The Hanson employees, found the vents we needed and added them without delaying the project. A section of the roof needed to be rebuilt due to water damage. The work was performed in the time quoted and on budget. The yard was left clean, no evidence of a work crew was left behind. Fixing the roof, eliminated a water problem we had in the addition space.

They were professional and they came on time. They were clean and confident.

I had a chronic problem with squirrels getting into my attic. Repairs to soffits and aluminum siding didn't work. Experts I spoke to didn't know what to do. Hanson roofing came and installed a much heavier gage metal around the entire house at the roof header. No more squirrel problems! The color of the metal they installed matched my (white) aluminum siding. There is no visible sign of their work. My only complaint was that it took months from the first call for them to actually come out and complete the work. Was the job too small? I don't know what the initial problem was but I was very happy with the ultimate result.

They did come over once and said that they were going to do something that they didn’t know would work or not-it was something less interventional as well. It didn’t work and I called them more than once afterwords. They said that they would come back but they didn’t. I am very annoyed with them.

Repairman came about two days after call to compny. On time and worked quickly. Put sealant in area that he identified as cause for the leak. Evidentally he was right; no leaks since.

The receptionist asked many questions and seemed bothered by my call finally scheduled a time. When I called back the next day to confirm the time, no appointment had been made. I had to go through all the the pre-assessment questions all over again. Company seems like they are not that interested in doing work - especially if you don't live on the North Shore.

Everyone I worked with was pleasant and willing to do what it took to get the job right. The estimator was quick to take a look, and the estimate was to when the work would actually occur was on target. Before the work took place, I knew there were going to be some issues that couldn't be resolved until the project was partially completed, i.e. what types of vents to use, how to handle covering dormers, how to handle a tricky valley that emptied over a porch. I was assured by the estimator that when the project reached those points, the choices would be completely explained, and that at least one of the choices of how to handle the problem would be covered by the price estimate. I found that when those decision points did arrive, that I had a hard time getting someone out to site to explain different choices, that for some issues there were no choices I could make that did not involve extra cost, and that I often had to call back to get someone out to handle a issue for which they and I had an agreed upon solution. Some work was substandard at first, and I had to point this out and have someone come back out, rip out the bad work, and redo. I had expected a tighter supervision of quality control than what happened. The main reason I wouldn't hire them again, is that if I couldn't watch what was being done, I would be afraid that something would be done that might prove a problem down the road.

They were punctual and gave me an estimate in a professional manner. Their pricing was much lower than other companies but their assumptions on what the job entailed was different. I appreciated how they gave us some insight on the condition of our roof.

They are very punctual. The quality of the work is great. I did not compare the prices with other providers, but the quality of is excellent. I have been using them for years.

This experience went badly...whoever is the receptionist is the contact person of this company. I can't believe with as many people looking for work, this is the best person that they could hire!

This company is pretty good. Their work can be a little iffy but they're priced well and their work is good enough. They stand behind their work and if there's a problem you can talk to them about it at anytime. That's pretty rare for a roofing company so I'm pleased with it.

They set an approximate date and they showed up on the schedule date and time. They are wonderful and they cleaned up after themselves. I have not had any trouble with them or their work.

It seems to be working OK. It has a humidistat which is nice. It will be helpful in the summer. I would recommend them and use them again.

We had some leaking into the house. The estimator from Hanson Roofing told us that the main reason was that our existing gutter system and downspouts couldn't handle the amount of water coming in during storms. He recommended a wider gutter along the roof and an additional downspout. Since we have had the work done, we have not had any leaking.

They completed the project on time, and the room below no longer leaks.

If you have an old home with tile roofing in Chicago, Hanson is able to match tiles in old homes. I think they are the only one who can. They do excellent work. They are recommended for tile roof work.

I had a leak in the ceiling over my sun room, so I contacted Hanson Roofing to repair it. After providing a very reasonable estimate, they scheduled the repair appointment. They arrived on time, and the work they did was of solid quality. A few days after the work was done, it rained; there was no leak in my sun room. They did a great job, and I would happily use them again.

After having a leak in my roof repaired, I asked Hanson Roofing about the cost of installing the gutters. They were very friendly, and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the cost. They had done good work for me up to this point, and I was very happy with the service. I decided to have them install the gutters, based on that estimate and the quality of the work they had done for me already.

They are a very solid company. I would recommend them for any roofing issues. They have been to my house several times to fix things. They are fully insured, and they will not make any mistakes. They have been around for a long time.

They came and gave my an estimate. They removed some slates and replaced them with new. They were efficient and professional. They came within the four weeks that we had scheduled the work.

They are very professional and easy to work with. You just call in your request and they are out to do it. I've asked them not to use leaf blowers and they honor this request. The price is for a house and detached garage.

They were good. I talked to the lady on the phone and she helped me get an estimate. I was told I would get an hour notice when they would come. Conveniently, they came right after a tree trimmer, so they were able to clean after that service. They cleaned all the gutters out, no problems!
