Description of Work: Organic weed control and fertilizer. By mistake they were billing me even though I prepaid with through Angies List but after emailing them they apologize and took care of it.

Description of Work: They left a message they were coming one day. They may have, but I have not noticed any evidence. I am not complaining but did not want to fill out this evaluation when I had nothing substantive to say in my comments.

Description of Work: I bought the deal on Angie's List. They just come out. I did call to find out when they might be scheduling, and while they did not leave a sign the second time they came, you can tell that the seed or fertilizer was spread.

Description of Work: Did not honor the agreement based on location. This was after a initial call to schedule service. After service was not delivered a follow up call revealed that they would not provide service to the Gurnee area. Apparently it was my responsibility to determine that they were not going to honor the service agreement for which they had been paid in advance and my responsibility to seek refund.

Description of Work: This was a "Big Deal" service, fall lawn feeding and aeration. The were thorough, and everything in the yard was placed back exactly where it was before the service. The only signs they were there was the multitude of dirt plugs from the aeration, and the hang tag on the door. I intend to have them back next spring for our lawn program.

Description of Work: Some scheduling and confirmation of my service could have been done with more responsiveness and customer service knowing about my appointment. Since this is a lawn treatment it will take some time to see if positive results will come from it.

Description of Work: I purchased this aeration service and prime soil builder on September 4 through the Angie's List deal. As of October 4, it has not been done. I have e-mailed the company twice seeking info on scheduling, and did not a receive a response either time. I am hoping I can get a refund for this purchase.

Description of Work: The work was done - I think. I was told when I called the company that they would come around to do the lawn aeration. I expected to hear from them again but never did. One day while mowing I notiCed climbs of grass and earth around the surfaceof the lawn. In the back of my mind I guessed this was the evidence that the company had indeed done their job. Had I been notified of their date of service or given more information about throw much lawn this deal covered I might well have paid for them to do our back and side lawns as well. They only did the front of the house including the parkway formally I can tell. It seems a strange way to do business. I have since received two other direct emails from this company for organic lawn fertilizing and snow removal. Although their services sound attractive, I am hesitant to hire them after the aeration incident.

Description of Work: None. I called when I signed up for the Big Deal to be sure they were in my service area. I was told, yes I was. I asked to set-up an appointment and was told that no appointment was needed, that no one had to be home for the service to be done. After a few weeks I called again and was told that they were backed up, but that when the service was done, it would be apparent by looking at the lawn. Now a month has passed and yesterday I called a third time. The person who answered the phone could not tell me when they had me "scheduled" for service, but when the person who handled that arrived, I would receive a call. I did not get a callback. Today 10/2, I called again. I was finally told that I was "out of the service area". I told him (Mike, I think) that I had specifically asked that on my very first call and was told I was in their service area. I have now waited a month with no service performed, and have put off patching bare areas and seeding until the aeration had been done. I am very disappointed with the customer service at Greenwise. All I reasonably should have expected was a phone call perhaps after a week letting me know that I was too far away. Why did that take 4 phone calls from me AND one month to find out? I was also told that I needed to contact you at Angie's list to receive the $69.00 credit for the charge to my CC. I don't know if that is true or not, but I was too exasperated to argue with the man at that point. ANGIE"S LIST, can you help me resolve this???

Description of Work: My lawn was aerated with machine that made holes one inch in dia. and put some chemical into these holes. Young man explained to me what he was doing. Next year I should see the results. A great job - I learned a lot.

Description of Work: My lawn looks terrible, I don't know if it was just the weather or what was put on it - because there was no result, even before it got hot. I watered and watered and it still looks horrible. The gentleman was here when I was home and he didn't say a word - but I don't believe he did the whole yard. I would not recommend them.
