THe actual work done on my garden I thought was minimal for the huge charge I paid- $2254.00. The con tract was ambiguous and I thought more would be done. I took the advice of the landscaper and thought more would be done. I trusted him but the company chaRGES TOO MUCH.

Came out quickly to do an estimate and was able to install within a few weeks - weather permitting. Did an excellent job of prepping the ground, fertilizing and installing the sod. Our lawn is now the best in several blocks!

Great company, can't recommend more highly. Pricing is competitive, always responsive, made payment easy.

When I first contacted Greenwise, we had to reschedule the consultation at our home in Chicago at because of scheduling coordination issues on the part of Greenwise. (The first time we were scheduled to meet with a representative, our appointment "fell through the cracks" because the consultant was no longer with the company and Greenwise didn't seem to know about the appointment — until I called in 30 minutes after it was supposed to start and I had already taken the morning off work.) We finally had our consultation. Great. I received a call yesterday morning while I was at work from someone at Greenwise saying they were out in front of my house ready to plant shrubs. I was very confused because I had never given approval for the shrubs, I had never signed a contract, and I never arranged for a time for the crew to come to do the work at the house — who arranges to do yard work without confirming a time?!?! Today, I received a call from the individual with whom I worked. He accused me of wasting his time — please see my first paragraph where I took off a morning from work to be home for a no show — and argued with me as though his ordering trees and having a crew deliver them to my house at a time that was never established on any contract and without my consent was my fault. He continued to say that I had "agreed" to doing this, and at one point he threatened that we would still need to pay for the trees that we didn't order. Upon reviewing my emails, I confirmed that I never agreed to this. The closest I came to doing this was the following passage from our brief email correspondence: “Thanks so much for dropping by the other day. I think we're interested in doing the front part of the yard only, BUT I have one more question/request. I neglected to ask about this. We were wanting to have a path install in the back yard from our backdoor to the garage.” I'm unclear how when I said we're "interested... BUT...." that translated to, "Yes, please come to the house on ____ date and here's my credit card information." Marcos made it clear he felt I was reneging on a deal/contract — that had never been established. When I confronted him this, he continued to just say, "You agreed to this," without acknowledging that he had made an error. I find this to be highly unreasonable. As a result we do not plan to use their services and recommend others consider another business.

Greenwise had done some minor landscape work for me last year and I was pleased with it. I called them in September for two quotes, one to regrade near my house where we have some erosion issues that need to be dealt with now and then to design and implement a new landscape design for the front of my house, for next spring. A guy named Mike came out to meet with me, took lots of pictures and assured me that they would get back to me shortly with both quotes. After three weeks, with no response, I called Greenwise to find out what happened. The person answering the phone assured me that I would get a call back. That was weeks ago. I wish they had just told me that they were too busy.

In the next big rain the creek was half filled, indicating that the system is working as designed.

Overall work is very good. Landscaping not done yet.

I like them. I will be using them again.

Going well. This is our first winter using Greenwise, but we are happy. We opted for the zero-tolerance policy so that there is preventive treatment before the snow even falls. Highly recommend the service and company. At first the $1700 price tag seemed pricey, but when we added up the a-la-carte services from everyone based on expected snow, it was cheaper and we would pick it again.

Bad communications, very frustrating!! I have no idea how good their service is because I couldn't get them to even give me a quote. I asked for a quote multiple times starting in September with no luck. If that's how awful their customer service is before they even get my money, I didn't want to find out how badly I'd be treated AFTER I signed on the dotted line. I finally gave up and contacted Logic Lawn Care, an organic lawn care company that services the same area, and has better reviews. Logic gave me a quote the same day and I signed right up. Logic Lawn Care must LOVE how unresponsive GreenWise is, it's gotta be a great source of sales for them!!

Great! I love their products, am delighted the city has gone organic with the park across the street with their help. Great to know kids, babies, dogs, adults and all creatures are safe.

I think they do a good job They don't always show up at the time they say they are going to but I'm happy with the service overall.

Chris came out and walked around the garden/jungle with me. We spent over 30 minutes talking about what I wanted, long term plans for the garden, etc. The quote came within a day or two, and although it was a little more than I anticipated, I've learned that I can hire "slash and burn" services that will work very quickly for a lower cost or a more careful company. The three men arrived at 7:30 and worked until 5, and they did an amazing job! It was like our garden was on a makeover show! Everything was thoughtfully pruned, mulched, weeded, pavers were re-set, and our garden looks the best it ever has! When I thanked the men who did all of the work, it was really clear that they took pride in their efforts, and I'm so thankful for their time and hard work. We will hire them again.

Excellent. Their prediction that non-toxic lawncare takes longer to eradicate weeds proved true, but my lawn is finally very healthy looking. Crews are reliable and competent. Service is not cheap, but the discounts for full season prepayment are helpful.

We love them, used them for years, find them extremely competent, reliable and we use them because they are organic. We do not use any artificial weed killer on our lawn and our lawn looks great. They have been wonderful.

It went very well. When we had any concerns or questions, because he had a bad experience with another company, they were very patient with us. We were able to negotiate the price and the guarantee. They tried to answer our concerns. We were satisfied with the way they did that. They did a beautiful design that we, and our neighbors, love. They are also very responsive. You can email them and they will get back to you about any questions.

Only fair, they could really get grass to grow on the northside of the building, even with us watering it all the time. There was a bout a 50/50 mix of grass and weeds. Would get a great story from the owner, but when it came to execution, it seemed like he wasn't on the same track as the guys who came out to do the work. After 2 years, did have green, just a ton of weeds and a huge cost. We now have a service that is more responsive, half the cost, but still having problems getting on the north side of the building, mostly because they got rid of the weeds.

They were excellent. They are very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I would use them again.

I don't mind weekly mowing myself and wanted to find a landscaper to just do some periodic work, the heave lifting. I called several, a few only wanted weekly contracts, a few never called back and a few never followed through. Greenwise was recommended by a neighbor. They actually answer their phone, were professional, and followed up with a timely quote and when I agreed, they actually did the work. The work they did was very thorough and professional and now I'm going to recommend them to everyone I know.

They are coming on a regular schedule now they always leave notes when they come.

Was unable to use the service because they don't come to my area.

We worked with Sandro at Greenwise to develop concepts. My spouse and I are both designers, so we had lots of ideas, but we are not landscape experts. Sandro gathered our thoughts, helped us understand what was practical for our site and what was not, and presented us with a plan that redefined the entry of our house, removed troublesome plant materials, and gave our property a unique look that suits the particular aesthetic of our midcentury home. After some tweaking to meet our target budget, Greenwise implemented the plan. The result has garnered nothing but compliments. We are very happy with our new yard, and the process was smooth (other than a permitting delay ? not Greenwise?s fault, though Sandro went to heroic lengths to track and expedite the progress of our permit through the bureaucracy) and satisfying. A few changes along the way were taken in stride, and we?ve already had Greenwise back for some additional work. They are efficient, collaborative, and attentive. Right now there is snow on the ground, but we can hardly wait for spring to watch our landscape grow and mature. We heartily recommend Greenwise.
