He came promptly. Good business practices. Was happy with his work. Very professional.

Overall Bijan was a pleasure to work with. He returned my email inquiry promptly and my calls. It look us a few weeks to determine sample choices before we were able to start the job, but I was able to feel comfortable enough to let Bijan have his own set of keys to come and go as needed for the work. He cleaned up daily and had creative solutions to some unforeseen problems. My only suggestion would be to make sure you are very specific about your needs when getting your quote. I had to have some window sill work done and wanted it painted and I assumed that he would paint all the trim to match the sill. That was not in his quote and had to be added. The same applied to a closet door. He painted the visible side but not the inside. So do not make assumptions, just be very specific about your needs.

Excellent workmanship. Paid attention to details and was always very professional. Arrived on time and completed all work to our satisfaction.

Fabulous. It took awhile to figure out an appointment date but once we did, he arrived on time and finished the jobs in about 5 hours. He was extremely conscious of keeping his mess contained to the area where he was working and cleaning up after himself. And everything looks great.

He did a very good job on the drywall. The room was amazingly clean when he finished. I really appreciated that he took the time to cover the floors and furniture in the room.

It was just great because where they framed and hung up the door there was no prior door, but this one looked like it was always there. It looks really nice and we are happy with it. I would recommend them..

It only took him one day to return my phone call. When he did call me back he came out the next day to provide an estimate. He was very friendly and honest and his estimate was fair. I did ask how long it would take him to do the work. He told me that he would probably be able to do it by the end of the following week. He told me he would e-mail me the exact day he could come out. Unfortunately he never contacted me. I had to call him and was informed that his schedule was too busy. I certainly understand that he is busy, but I think that he needs to inform customers right away if he cannot do a job.

I will say that he was very professional and very attentive to what we needed done. He came out right when he said he would and cleaned up very well when he had finished and left. I don t mind highly recommending him and will use him again.

He was always been very timely and had a great price. He was very pleasant and did a great job. We would use him again.

We did not hire him only because we had to push back our kitchen remodeling project to do more immediate repair, but if I do have this work done in the future, I will certainly call Bijan. He has a top level of professionalism about him.

Bijan was very prompt in returning emails and phone calls, made multiple trips to review the work to be done, and was on time each time. He helped us think about the shelving we wanted to put in and measured multiple times. We liked the work he did, and he is knowledgeable about a number of different things (including telephone lines). He also communicates well and was very personable.

I looks like a new grill! We are very pleased with his work and would definitely have him out to do more work if needed.

Bijan does fantastic work! Since this was kind of an unusual job, we liked that he quoted us for the project and not simply time and materials, and he charged us exactly what he quoted. He showed up on time with all the tools he needed, and made the tub look better than I had thought it could. He even took into account that my baby was napping across the hall, and so he took the noisier power tools outside to use so as not to wake him up! He was courteous and explained all our options, and even took a stab at fixing the tub (to no avail, we found out, because it needs a new part, but I appreciated the effort). To add to it all, he fixed one of our badly installed light fixtures with no charge, a project my husband had been dragging his feet about. I will totally call Bijan again next time I need work done.

The work was a lot more then I thought. I was very pleased.

He got back to me the same day which was great. Unfortunately he had work planned for 3 weeks (he must be good!)and I needed mine done earlier.

Excellent. Bijan was quick to return my initial call -- same day. I needed to have the work done immediately and he was very accommodating and was willing to change his schedule around. He came on time, worked hard the entire time he was in my home and was very respectful. He was not intrusive to have working in the house and was very pleasant. Bijan proposed ideas for repairs and offered alternatives about how to complete the repair. He was sensitive to time and price for the repairs and provided a realistic view of what I could expect or if he thought that there might be a problem with the type of repair. I would highly recommend Bijan to others and would certainly hire him again. He is fair with his prices and works hard, so the value is definitely there! Couldn't have found a better solution!

THE CEILING FANS ARE WORKING VERY WELL AND I AM HAPPY WITH THE REMOTE CONTROLS. THE SINK IS ALSO WORKING VERY WELL AND I WAS PLEASED TO FIND SOMEONE WHO COULD INSTALL A WINDOW AIR CONDITIONER.

I recommended this contractor to my mother-in-law. Professional, on time, meticulous, knows what he is doing, period. Explains what is needed without being patronizing. Even went to Home Depot to get materials I didn't have ready and charged face value for goods. Returned phone calls promptly and reviewed list of work in person after I had left a message regarding the estimate. For a business owner who does not subcontract out at all, I was extremely impressed with the work ethic and accuracy of the estimate as well as attention to job. No hidden fees or charges. Dependable. No garbage left anywhere and disposed of all refuse in trash cans outside. He had all equipment and supplies with him without having to leave and come back. Didn't even take lunch breaks. The right tools were used for the jobs. If the screws were too short, he used longer one he already had without fuss and explained why he was making the change.

He was prompt and he was able to identify immediately what the problem was. He informed me that all I needed was new caulking around the bathtub which was an easy fix. I didn't have him do the work. I instead had a friend, who is a handyman, do it for me. He then went outside to look at the other problem I had with the outside leak and informed me that the problem wasn't something that I should have to fix; it was the condo association's responsibility. (The sidewalk is slanted and so every time it rains water seeps in through the walls.) The president of my condo association (who lives upstairs and was on his balcony) overheard Bijan telling me this and started yelling down at Bijan telling him he was a liar and to get off the property. Throughout all of this Bijan kept his cool and was very polite, he didn't even charge me for his service. All in all he was a gentleman, very polite, and very accommodating.

I would use and recommend to anyone.

I'm putting this report out as a warning to potential clients, since service itself is a big part of what we're looking for at Angie's list. Bijan came to my home in Evanston to give me an estimate - it took about a week to get it, but I was fine with that. He was very friendly and professional while here. Unfortunately, despite saying that he'd email me a quote, and even after I called him a week later to ask him to let me know if he was no longer interested in the job so I could find someone else, I heard nothing from him at all - complete silence, and it's now been two weeks. I read similar things in other reviews regarding his non-responsiveness, but since he'd also received good notices, I decided to give him a chance. I was disappointed in his lack of response, because I was hoping to find a good, long-term handyman. Perhaps if you catch him on a good day it will work out, but I wouldn't count on his reliability over the long term.

He not only put in the smoke detector, but he also put in some lights and gave a discount of $30 off!
