Response from American Vintage Home Heating Cooling & Plumbing
Dear Mr. [Member Name Removed], I want to thank you for your review. At American Vintage Home we are always concerned about our customer's dissatisfaction. From your review I can only gather that you were unhappy with the price of the repair. I have looked at your service history and I do see that we installed a new Sillcock at your house. I tried to call you this morning to see what exactly about the pricing were you dissatisfied with, however I had no luck reaching you. I reviewed your invoice and offer you this break down of the charges so that you may understand it better. You were charged a Service Call Charge of $89.00 which included the arrival of the technician and the initial diagnosis of the repair. To make sure that we followed our protocol, I also listened to the call that you had with CSR to ensure that you were informed of this charge. During the listening of the call I did hear the CSR explain the Service Call Charge, as well as you acknowledge it. The second charge that you received was installation of a new Sillcock and removal of the old Sillcock which was $109.00. Our pricing is not based on time and material, but upfront pricing. Upfront Pricing means that there are no surprises, fair value, and consistency. No surprises means everything is included - there are no additional or hidden costs, even if the work takes longer. Fair value means service prices have been determined over time and prices are based on broad experience in many situations, and finally consistency means that everyone pays the same fair price for the same service (price is never determined on who is a better negotiator). If there is something else that has you upset about your experience, please feel free to contact me directly at 847-251-5255. Sincerely, Richard Eberle Operation Manager American Vintage Home
