This was the first patio project we have worked on. We talked with a few different contractors, but Michael Spatola was the first to come out and meet with us. We explained the general concept and what features we would like to see incorporated into the design as well as creating some privacy from neighbors. We arrived fairly quickly at a design we felt worked well within the budget we provided. Also, we felt it was a reasonable timeframe to get a crew out to start the install. Overall, the project moved very quickly from the point they started. We had people onsite everyday and they weren't diverted to other projects. The crew was very conscious of our neighbors and tried to keep noise and the disturbance at a minimum. The final product exceeded our expectations. We receive compliments from everyone that has visited. I would recommend working with them to anyone interested in a backyard project.

We are very pleased with the stormwater management system that R&J installed in our yard. Our yard had been a soupy mess after a heavy rain with standing water up to a week and we were unable to grow decent ground cover. Their work has eliminated standing water and has allowed us to retain some water underground for irrigation. They've also landscaped our backyard and perform routine maintenance/lawn treatment. They have always been very responsive to questions/issues and I intend to use them for additional work in the near future.

Michael and the team did a great job with the design and installation of our landscaping. They listened to our ideas and came up with a great design, even making some small adjustments on site to to a change we wanted at install. The team was courteous and cleaned up after themselves when done.

I liked Michael's ideas from the first consultation. He was aware of what types of plants were used in our neighborhood and came up with a design that was functional and unique. We thought about making minor changes to the design, but in the end went with the original plan. When the plants started growing in the spring we were sure we made the right decisions. I also like the fact that he worked within our budget and produced a design that looks more expensive than it was. Although we had the work done in March, I waited to submit a review so that I could also assess his attention to any issues that might come up.

If you want a professional job done you must hire Ross and Jack's Landscaping. We had a water issue, needed sod and shrubs and wanted a paver patio. Mike came out promptly and gave us great ideas for our situation. Mike and his crew did beautiful work in a timely manner. We have neighbors stopping by everyday telling us how wonderful it looks.

I have used Ross & Jack's for five years. They have installed a beautiful Unilock patio, created a fantastic landscape around the house, and performed annual fall/spring cleanup. They no longer service our area, which is the only reason I had to switch firm. Cannot give higher praise for Mike and his team.

Not well. I received a voice message from Mark Seraphin stating he "did a drive by and we aren't going to be able to help you. Good luck with your project". First of all, he didn't even know what I wanted done, didn't offer to do an estimate, and how in the world could he see my back yard from the street as he drove by? He back tracked in a subsequent message, saying they're overwhelmed and can't accept new business. If that were true, why would he waste my time at all? If you need landscaping work done, I wouldn't call them as they are too busy to even deliver courteous communications to potential new customers. I had a lot of money to spend. They should take the "free estimates" off of their website as they obviously pick and choose which homes they want to service.

Ross & Jack did an amazing job coming up with a beautiful and thoughtful landscaping design for my front and back yard. Michael asked questions about what type of things I like (color, fragrance) and incorporated items reflecting that in the design. He knew we had budget concerns and would only able to implement the front yard plan this year, but came up with a plan for the back yard as well so now we have a plan in place when we are ready to do it. Michael was very responsive and hands on throughout the process.

I took out some ancient, unsightly bushes from in front of my house and had no idea what to do with that space. Michael came out. We talked and I told him my budget. He came up with an interesting, beautiful design. He suggested putting my downspouts underground, something I hadn’t thought of. The installation went wonderfully. Michael walked me through the plans again and gave his crew exact directions. The workers who did the installation were friendly and professional. I’m very happy with the final result.

I used Ross & Jack's Landscaping in early 2017 for landscaping in the front yard of a home I was preparing to sell. I also had them prepare and seed some damaged areas of the lawn. It was great to work with them. I really liked the plant selections and everything looked wonderful particularly once they started to bloom in spring. I would definitely use them again.

We have always had consistently good experiences with our periodic service throughout the year. Ross & Jack’s workers are hard-working, courteous and efficient. When we have needed to request work that is outside of the normal service, it has always been easy to get a quote and arrange for the work to be done.

Mark from Ross and Jack’s provided me with a free estimate for yard work/landscaping. He was prompt with replying to my emails, however the quote I was given is currently out of my price range. Can’t say one way or the other if I’d hire them in the future, but I did appreciate that they were able to take the time to provide an estimate.

My husband and I had a great experience with Ross and Jack's. From the first phone call until the last day on the project, we were impressed. I lost count of the number of other landscapers who didn't return my calls. Ross and Jack's picked up the phone immediately, and I was connected with someone within 24 hours. Michael took the lead on our project, and never left me waiting for guidance or an answer. Michael provided detailed information both over the phone and via email. He quickly provided us with pictures of different options and explained the pros and cons of each option. We had a crushed granite driveway installed along with some flagstone. Additionally, we needed some dirt and mulch installed along our fence. The crew went above and beyond as they pulled weeds that they found along the way! They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. Michael was on site to direct the crew, and he ensured that the project ran smoothly. Our property looks drastically improved because of Ross and Jack's. Thanks to Michael and the crew!

We knew we need something done to our backyard and we had some ideas as to what we wanted but we needed help with the options and what would look nice. Mike came out, listened as we walked through our plans, added great suggestions and then put together a quote and plan. We had two other companies quote the yard and Mikes was about the same in terms of price but with a much higher level of professionalism and detail. We really felt like he knew what he was doing and had our best interest at heart. The day of the install he and his crew showed up, went over the plans again with us and went straight to work. They cleaned up after the first day and we made a punch list for the next day. When they came back, Mike showed up again just to make sure everything was perfect. The yard looks great, all the plants are perfect. We are looking forward to seeing how the yard matures and grows in over the next several years. Could not be happier with Mike and his crew. We will use them again to do follow up projects and maintenance.
