Description of Work: Backyard Landscaping. Did wonderful job... even did some extras that were not in original contract. Work was done fast, cleaned up everything... yard looks great. I will use them again for any landscaping I need.

Description of Work: I requested a quote for a small job and sent over a plan and photos of the area where I wanted to have the work done. I got the impression on the phone that the representative was not in agreement with the plan I provided and had that confirmed when I received the quote. It was so different from what I requested and wanted I thought it had been sent to me in error. I don't mind a vendor making suggestions but to receive something that doesn't resemble what I asked for wastes my time and the vendors as well. I wound up doing the work myself for $500 in material costs and saved myself a couple thousand. I'm not sure what happened but it all worked out in the end for me.

Description of Work: A very nice young fellow came and met with me exactly when he said he would. He quickly emailed me a list of references and a list of suggested materials. But without a plan as to where the materials would go, it was useless to me. That would have cost an additional $500. I was disappointed. I understand that people sometimes take their plans and then do the work themselves. I'm not sure how to get around that problem. I obviously can't do that.

Description of Work: Cleared front, back, and side yard of overgrown plants, weeds, etc. Also cut down dead tree in front of property.

Description of Work: They cleaned up my entire yard. Pulled weeds, trimmed trees, edged the gardens, removed a dead tree, put down mulch, and cut the grass/edged the sidewalk and driveway. The crew was here at the time promised. I was not able to be home during the work, so once they started I left for the day. When I got home the yard looked amazing. They did everything promised and left my property in a condition that that was perfect. I would use Ross and Jack's again without question.

Description of Work: They put in a new driveway and designed and installed landscaping for our front yard.

Description of Work: We needed some sod, overseeding, and raking. We contacted Ross & Jacks and they were very professional. We worked with Mike who had some great ideas. I felt that they would have done a great job, but they were a little expensive.

Description of Work: Rarely has any service company I've ever contracted be so condescending. First when Mark arrived he was surprised that I had a nice house. What? He thought I lived in "another suburb". Okay. He told me what was wrong with my landscape, then said it wasn't bad, and went on to talk about "adding value" ad naseum. He just said to give him $ 2-4,000. and he'd make it look good. I've had landscapers work on my property before and they've taken pictures and submitted a real plan. Giving someone 2-4 thousand dollars is not how I do business. I can't talk to their actual performance. He has "crews" with routes, and it sounds like they are great from the above reviews. But they will not get my business.
