they came fast. One hour before the appointment they gave me on the phone, my son let them in because I wasn't home . The 2 plumbers came in NO FACE MASKS, NO GLOVES, NO SHOES COVER. They did the job, they told me we fix the problem but it needs to be re-piped to meet the code?? pipes was leaking after they left. I have to tighten the pipes to stop the leak myself

The guys arrived a little later then was told to me but I'm guessing traffic was slow. They looked over the project quoted me a price and fulfilled all my expectations. The only thing I could say on the negative side was the price or 2 pipes to connect the sink back to the houses pluming which I know were way higher then I could have purchased them for.

Great- we've hired them to do more work for us.

2 men came by 30 minutes after I called J&S. They went to the clean out and spent an hour power rodding the drain and pulled out many roots that were clogging the drain. They were open it up so the drain worked again. Great Job!

I had J & S Plumbing out once in November 2019 and again in December 2019 for two separate issues with leaking pipes. Excellent work, friendly service, and fast scheduling. In November, I called on a Sunday morning and they came out a few hours later to replace the plumbing under the kitchen sink. I called again on December 26 about a leaking pipe in the basement, and they again arrived within a couple of hours. Great service!

J&S was great to work with. Very responsive and was able to fit my small project in within a day of making contact. Price was reasonable, would hire again.

Greg King and Anton are great! They put in a new shower/tub handle, plus the shower head and a new sink faucet in the bathroom. They are very nice, professional and did a great job. In fact, I'm having them back to put in a new kitchen faucet.

This company is the best. They were at my house within two hours. Fixed the leak with Minimal intrusion, had the right parts with them, were efficient, Honest, neat, and quick. And the best price, always. No Bogus pricing and extra work. I have used them before and will use them again!!

During initial visit I was mentioned that the parts alone would cost 150$. We were under the impression that it’s few hours of work. I checked online and replaced parts cost is less than 25$ and actual work took less than 30 minutes. Charge for worst case scenario should not be more than 250. Not sure if reviews are genuine. Will not work with them in future. Please check the uploaded photos for job performed.

Wow, these guys know what they are doing! After a heavy rain we found out driveway drain was clogged. I called J&S and they came out the very next day. The crew was extremely professional and knowledgeable. They determined that our main sewer line was the problem and did a great job rodding it and getting rid of all the tree roots that caused the issue. It was so clogged that they had to rod it several time using various pieces of equipment in order to clear it. They televised the drain and made sure the drain was sound and totally clear. I would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone. I plan to have them come back annually to inspect and rod the drain.

The 2 plumbers who came were great and the projects were completed to my satisfaction. My one concern was cost. The one guy adjusted the flushing mechanism and replaced the flap in the tank of the toilet. The other replaced a gas valve behind a range. They were here for just about 1 hour. With minimal parts required and only 1 hour work, I felt the $500 charge was a bit excessive. Having had other work J&S completed over the past few years that I thought was more fairly priced, I am willing to try again, but some consideration should be given to the length of time it takes to complete a project rather than just going with the list price for a project.

We called J&S because of water in our basement. They had a plumber out to our house within an hour. He performed a thorough inspection, made sure there were no leaks anywhere, and found a clog in the main drain. He flushed the clog out and our problem was fixed. Easy as that. I would definitely recommend J&S and I would hire them again.

Greg and Greg evaluated the issue and the best options for repair as well as improving the flow in case of another issue in the future. Very professional service and experienced. Highly recommend!

J&S was absolutely fantastic. Steve got us all set up shortly after I called and sent Greg out to take a look and provide an estimate. Greg was not only able to prove a reasonable estimate, but also complete the work that day. He and his work was extremely professional and he was very courteous while our 14 month old baby was napping. When the work was completed he explained everything in a way I would understand and told us not to hesitate to call if we had any issues with the work. I Would absolutely use them again and highly recommend to anyone need plumbing services.

They did a fantastic job! J&S was able to send someone out the same day that I called to schedule an appointment. The two workers that came to do the service were very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. They were always straightforward with the plan and they never tried to over sell what needed to be done. Job well done!

Hard workers and they did a very good job. Our septic tank became defective and we decided to replace it entirely. They were able to schedule a date less than a week after we signed a contract for the work. They took care of getting a permit from the village, contacting another company to drain the septic tank, and breaking the septic tank up. This company has done other projects in Bloomingdale and worked closely with Village officials to do the job right. Prior to the work, we did have a village of Bloomingdale water dept employee come out and mark the location of the sewer. We did call JULIE to mark the location of underground cables. Comcast apparently never came out because they severed an unmarked Comcast cable. Not JS plumbing fault. Comcast did put a temporary wire in a day after we called but we were without internet for a day. I recommend calling Comcast first before doing the work. Do not rely strictly on JULIE. Beware, this is a very messy project and your lawn will have a large trench. JS plumbing advised to leave it settle at least 8 weeks before contacting a landscaper. Also be advised that it may be necessary to take out part of your fence in order to get heavy machinery into the yard. This is right in the contract and they do not replace fences. One fence post has to be replaced because the heavy equipment could not fit thru a gate. We were aware of it and knew that it had to be removed. The entire job took only a day and a half. JS Plumbing broke up the septic tank and buried it as required by village code. We are very happy with services provided and glad to get rid of septic tank.

Saul was great! He quickly diagnosed the bigger issue, sourced the needed tools and repaired everything that day while I was home. He also was able to quote me for some future projects. Very knowledgeable and professional job. Will definitely use again. Thank you! :)

On 2/19 I left a review for this company and rated them an F. Since then the owner has contacted us and rectified the situation to our satisfaction. We are retracting the F rating and replacing it with an A. Their responsiveness is stellar.

I requested assistance via Angie's List, picked J & S Plumbing, and the next morning I received an e-mail that I would be receiving a response soon. They telephoned and said they would stop by that very afternoon to evaluate the situation. Only my wife was home with a bum leg and couldn't answer the door, so I left the door unlocked and asked they just knock and enter. Jason and Mike came out and fixed both problems and cleaned up well. My wife called for a credit card number, and everything was cleaned up and working when I arrived home from work. I was thrilled. I would add a picture but there isn't really anything to show other than a sink and a toilet that don't leak anymore. :-)

I cannot expressed how pleased I was with the service and the work that was done. We called at about 11:00 am on a Saturday morning. The gentleman who answered the phone explained they were very busy because of the weather. He wasn't sure if he would have someone available that day, but would try his. Within 3 hours, we had two plumbers arrive at our door and the pipe was repaired in a very short time. Needless to say we would hire again without hesitation.

I called J&S at 6:00 AM on a Saturday. The answering service took my call. I got a call back from J&S in 20 minutes. J&S told me that they could be out to replace the sump pump that afternoon. A plumber and helper arrived at 2:30. The plumber replaced the pump without difficulty. He explained both the replacement process and the features of the new pump.

You never can plan on needing a plumber, you just need one. J&S Plumbing has come through time and time again for our plumbing needs, they are quick to respond and do good solid work. Had a leaky pipe called them, and they were out that morning. Pipe is fixed.

J&S was very responsive during my water emergency! They quickly identified where the leak was and fixed it. The two repairmen who came this morning were very professional, quickly got to work and were nice people. Thank you very much J&S! You are now my 'go to' plumber!

The toilet and shower were not getting water due to a frozen pipe. I called J&S at 8AM. They were here at noon. They unfroze the pipe and had water flowing in less than an hour!

The techs were professional and courteous. They overcame challenges with a very difficult cast iron sewer line.
