Fast service very responsive and a great price

QUOTE was TOO-HIGH!! I ended up having to pay $98 service charge for 5 mins of quick assessment. TOTAL RIP-OFF!! I was quoted $480 (later on, dropped to $425 to install garbage disposal - their garbage disposal OR $280 to install if I purchase the garbage disposal). I got another quote from a bonded and licensed plumbing company for $215 $180 was the lowest to replace a toilet tank valve!! Unbelievable!! Do not use them, their tactic is simple - charge $98 for service-call and then quote super high. Either you end up paying super high OR pay them $98 for a quick 5 min chat - you lose either way.

02/01/2022: Adam from J&S came out to replace leaking toilet with a comfort toilet. All went great. I opted to purchase for the Kohler Brand from J&S, which was a bit more expensive. Total cost: $750.00. Adam said they could add a spigot to the east side of our house in the future. 05/05/2022 Adam and Mike came out to install the spigot and repair the kitchen faucet my husband had installed. The faucet could not be repaired, and we opted for a new Moen model that Adam had on his truck. Total cost: $1550.00 for new outdoor spigot and faucet. Adam and Mike were very respectful to us and our home. The price was fair. I really had no idea what the extra spigot would cost, but I imagined about a grand for the piping and labor. The kitchen faucet was an added surprise, but we made the choice to have the item function properly. Note: Another plumber I had been working with for a decade said the cost would be enormous and he'd get back to me with an estimate. One month passed, no response. I called to follow up. Still no response. Very disappointing.

I thought it went well but took longer than I expected. Mechanic Leo bought the new tank and pipes in when he arrived. I believed Leo arrived around 7:30 pm. He completed the installation around 11:30.pm Leo went out to his truck, stayed outside for a long time, in fact, my son Vann went out to ask him what was taking so long. When he came back in, Leo told me there would be an extra $100.00 We explained that we had been quoted a price of $1,300.00.. so he said to call the i office and they would straighten everything out, That’s why I called the next day. Everything seemed okay. When I notice the water was much slower, I called to let J&S know. The person asked me a few questions and advised me to check the faucets. Well, that didn’t work and the water was not as hot as before the installation. I called again to explain to J & S what was happening. The person there told me that they didn’t have to come out, and I still owed them $100.. so that's why I called Angi So I decided to check all of the faucets and I realized that the water flow was not coming out properly from any of the faucets So this is what happened. I am just appalled that they haven’t come out or called as of this date. I need them to come out and check this out, something went wrong. We could do a FaceTime inspection that would show the flow of the water.

I have been using their services for many years. Keith is patient and very informative in what he does. Quotes are amazing and so are the hour availabilities. Thank you.

J&S Plumbing is a top notch company. Their employees were great, efficient, professional, knowledgeable, service-oriented, prompt with great follow ups. Their team executed our water main connection project flawlessly. Brian, Gaspar and his teams were outstanding. The office staff were very prompt in ensuring all questions from the village were answered properly so the permit would be issued promptly. J&S Plumbing handles complex project really well and we highly recommend this company for your needs.

I paid what was quoted for the labor $195, but they upsold me on replacing the stop valve as well. They didn't explain to me the cost of replacing that part until I was presented with the bill. The part costs like $30 at a hardware store and it took him like maybe 10 minutes to replace it...and charged me an additional $150 !! I called the office and was told that's the cost for the part, labor and warranty on the part in case if fails. Not happy.

My tenant's water heater stopped working. I called this company and they came out that same afternoon and installed a new one. The whole process went well and my tenant had hot water right away.

Matt Cichy came out and did an amazing job. What I appreciated most about him was his consultative approach. He took the time to listen and thoroughly explain what work needed to be done. While he was here, he found a few other things in the basement that needed to be addressed. He fixed these issues after installing the natural gas lines. Hands down, he is the very best plumber I've ever worked with.

I was very happy with service from J&S Plumbing. Adam was great with explaining the situation and letting me know the different options he might have to take in order to get the plumbing working again in the bathroom. This is the second time I’ve used J&S Plumbing and I’m very happy with their service.

It went very well. They came right on time and gave a thorough assessment of the problem and the least-cost solution to the problem. So far, so good! We were very pleased with their service.

They were professional from the start. I was able to take pictures and email them to get a quote for the job I needed. They were a lot less expensive than other companies I called and more polite. We went with them and they came out the next day. They were fast, clean and polite. On the phone Steve answered all my questions and when Matt came he told me everything they did and answered all the rest of my questions. I will use them again, very trustworthy.

I called and they were able to come out the same day. They came and were very polite and professional. They saw what I was talking about and was able to fix it for less than I thought it would be.

J&S provided great service during the installation of my new water heater. The process for hiring was transparent and communicative. I was quoted a very competitive price and they included all the details necessary. They were on-time for the day-off appointment and were able to remove my old heater and install the new one pretty quickly. Also, I'm on the 4th floor with no elevator. So, it was also a physical challenge to complete this job. Great service, would definitely recommend.

They arrived on time and finished in less than 2 hours. They also cleaned up afterword.

John was my technician and he provided great service. J&S Plumbing was able to send John out within an hour of my initial call as I was in a neighboring community of where he was. John quickly rodded out my bathtub after I had tried every home remedy in the book. Cleaned up his work. Answered general questions for me about how to maintain your drains. Tub now drains like new. Very competent, helpful, and friendly. Price was fair too.

Excellent response and did the work required

Condo below us ceiling was opened & leak was caulked. New drain was put in our condo shower & proper caulking done. The plumbers kept running the shower in our condo to make sure leak was repaired in condo below. The plumbers were very diligent & knew what they were doing! I would definitely recommend them.

Old water heater had a leak. The 2 man crew came within 2 hours same day to install new water heater. Had to call back a week later for issue with blast of air in the water pipes. Crew came out. Drained some of water from the water tank. A few days later had to call back again for same issue. Different 2 man crew came out. They were much better at what they were doing and the issue was fixed. For this company it depends on which crew you get. 😐 Even though my response to hire again said yes, only if I get the better crew, Jasen B and Lester. They didn't charge me for the 2 other times they came out. Jasen was kind enough to unclog a kitchen drain . I was charged for that. Overall the crews were professional.

They did a wonderful job, were very professional, were straight talkers, and worked for 3 hours to fix it. They did some extra stuff too. We would definitely hire them again and we would absolutely recommend them.

They did a good job. They came over here right away, told me what's wrong, and they were able to fix it. I was happy. It was a good company.

I will not recommend this company ever! We replaced the ejector pump in March of 2019 and paid $862,.00. Today, July 30, 2020 we had to call J&S and due to back up from the Ejector pump and the fuse blown. When the gentlemen arrived they stated that it is something clogged in the motor and if it is that voids the warranty which is three years. Well, they started unclogging the motor and and removed as he stated Clorox wipes. After, they unclogged the motor, the issue was still happening, the fuse kept blowing when the ejector pump turned on. So now, no warranty and we have to pay for a new Ejector pump. Which is cost more than the first time we purchased the Ejector pump. The type of Ejector pump that was installed both times were Ion Ejector pumps.

Jason M. from J & S Plumbing did a fantastic job. He arrived on time, was courteous and professional, and went above and beyond what we asked him to do. Also, their quote was about 10% below what other plumbers were quoting me for the job. I'll use them again next time.

Greg K. and Derek R were prompt and really pleasant. They found the problem and resolved us, alerting us to a serious mold problem that we should attend to. They also cleaned up very well. We are certain to call upon JH &S for any future plumbing needs.

they came fast. One hour before the appointment they gave me on the phone, my son let them in because I wasn't home . The 2 plumbers came in NO FACE MASKS, NO GLOVES, NO SHOES COVER. They did the job, they told me we fix the problem but it needs to be re-piped to meet the code?? pipes was leaking after they left. I have to tighten the pipes to stop the leak myself
