Poorly. Called for emergency service. Was told I would receive call back in 5-10 minutes. Did not receive call back promptly. Did finally receive call back after contacting another firm. Description of problem was not known to person who called me back. Basically, in the time of an urgent situation, customer service was clumsy and not responsive!

They were able to schedule me the day after I called and I didn't have to pay for an "emergency" rate and gave me a 2 hour arrival window. They called to tell me when they were heading to my place and arrived within 15 minutes of the beginning of the time frame. They charge a flat rate for each service and there was no service charge. There were some problems getting the fittings off because they had rusted on. Once they got the fittings off it only took them about 45 min. to an hour to install the new faucet and rod the line. They also offered 10% for Angie's List customers. The plumbers were very nice and professional. I would definitely hire them again.

In the end, they never returned my call. It worked out for the good because I ended up using another plumber on Angis. I was very impressed with them.

We were very impressed with the team from J&S Plumbing. Daniel, Leo and Jorge were on time, communicated throughout the process, and worked very hard to correct our problem. They had to break up the concrete, dig down and remove the broken pipe, replace it, and then pour concrete to fill up the hole. It was obvious that they knew exactly what to do. Not only did they do a great job, they were pleasant to talk with and did a good job of cleaning up. A great team overall. It's wonderful to have a fresh smelling house again.

The fix was relatively easy, and took no time at all. It's unfortunate we were stuck with the $95 diagnostic fee after such an easy fix, so it was an expensive lesson. However, the plumber himself was very nice and professional and even left us with a tool that we could use for future problems.

It went well. They were a little late, but called to let me know. They were professional and pleasant.

I've used these guys for a while now, and they are always punctual and get the job done. This time around, two really nice guys showed up, but the cost was a bit on the high side, I thought.

Called early AM, dispatched plumber, both leaks fixed within a few hours of my call. Very pleased.

They did a great job with the repair. Knew exactly what was needed and how to do it. They have done this many times before for other sewer line breaks and replacements. Lucky it was not in the line away from the house and under the driveway which has happened. Home owner is responsible and home owner insurance will not cover you.

Did a great job, took care of everything, cleaned up, fair price. Would definitely hire again.

I called to make an appointment and someone was able to come over right away. Ivan was very helpful and informative on the types of plumbing issues our age/type of house may have. He cleared the clog and helped make the old drain fixture easier to work with.

Repair was made, faucet was replaced, and service was excellent.

We've used J&S plumbing for years for all our plumbing needs. From easy stuff like changing out a toilet to replacing part of our sewer line that had separated from the house. They are super responsive and have professional, experienced, knowledgeable technicians. Their prices are fair and I would trust them for any plumbing issue. Would highly recommend.

They did an excellent job! I called for information and they were out and done in just hours. The technician even cleaned the tub for me. I'm so impressed. Will definitely use J&S again.

That did a great job in less than two days. Very professional and their quote was spot on. Daniel knows what he is doing vary experienced. I would use them again in a hartbeat.

I contacted the company, spoke with Ed, and explained the clogged drain problem. He said he understood and I made an appointment for someone to come out. I asked Ed if he could give an estimate and he said possibly between $289-$389 . I understood it was only an estimate since he was only going by what I told him. An employee arrived on the date and time of the appointment. He looked at the pipe, went to his truck and got a broom handle. He stuck the broom handle into the pipe, said the clog was about two to three feet down, and he didn't think he could clear it out since it seemed to be pretty solid. He said I could re-route the gutter downspouts, which is what I told him I had planned on doing anyway, but I was concerned about the water freezing in the pipe. He suggested I clear it out with a wet/dry vac since he did not have the right size vac, throw some gravel into the pipe, and top it off with cement. Then he said he was only going to charge me the service fee of $98. I told him Ed never said anything about a service fee, the company site listed free estimates, and why would it cost $98 for him to stick a broom handle into the pipe and tell me to clear it out myself? Trying to be fair for at least coming out, I gave him a check for $50, although he was already in the area on another job. I am still kicking myself for that and I certainly would never call this company again.

Not well. They sent me an auto response which said that I should call them. NOT Responsive.

Very well. Fast, efficient, professional.

Technician came right away, cleared the clog effectively and even cleared a second sink drain that was running a bit slowly.
